Project Overview

Magic! Mystery! Danger! Adventure! It's around every corner! Join multiverse-traveling street thief-turned-treasure hunter Fox (yes! A fox who walks, talks, and acts like a human!) and his friends on their many adventures to procure existence's most dangerous magical treasures before they fall into the wrong hands...


THE ADVENTURES OF THE FOX IN THE FEDORA is an ongoing action adventure comedy audio drama that captures the fancy-free magic of Disney's Aladdin mixed with the daring-do adventuresome spirit of Indiana Jones with a slight Doctor Who twist, inspired by the Saturday morning cartoon shows of yesteryear.

In Season 1, Fox took on a fanatic organization in a hunt for the power of the human-based Norse apocalypse.  In Season 2, he will face a personal threat to his family legacy, on top of a cosmic threat that could spell doom for the entire multiverse if Fox doesn't find a way to turn the metaphorically stacked game against his opponents.

The show's episodes run anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes in length.  Season 2 is scheduled to have eight (8) episodes in total, running about 25 to 30 minutes, estimated.

Season 2 is scheduled for release in late 2023.
The series is funded entirely by our amazing patrons on Patreon.

    Greetings, one and all!

    As you know, auditions close at 11:59 PM, EST today on 3/31/2023. For all of you eagerly waiting the results, we ask that you please be patient with us a little longer as we still need to go through more that are coming in at the last minute, as well as thoroughly evaluate our growing list of frontrunners.

    For now, we thank you all for taking interest in this project and we wish all those who do not get in the very best... OR... perhaps we'll see you around again for the inevitable Season 3 casting call sometime next year.   • Project Update!

    Hello all!

    Just wanted to give a big shout out and thanks to everyone who has auditioned thus far. We're only a week into this month-long search and we've already listened to 66 of the 181 (currently) auditions.

    We've greatly enjoyed listening to what everyone has to offer and we're looking forward to whomever else wishes to tryout for the roles. Antagonist -- (Age: 26, Gender: Female, Species: Anthro Otter) A born leader, Rane is someone who refuses to take "no" for an answer.  She's on the wrong side of history, but she believes something beautiful and better will come from the ashes of what she helps to destroy.  While not insane or necessarily sociopathic, mental conditioning and intense training since she was a child has led her to become the hardened assassin and Elemental Lord that she is today.  Despite her vicious nature, she is a person of honor but not above using dirty tricks or coercion to get what she needs done.

Protagonist Ally -- (Age: 52, Gender: Male, Species: Human) Emperor Silas is a good and just ruler, a blessing to his empire and home world.  He carries many responsibilities on his shoulders and governing an empire as big and as chaotic as his is no small feat, even with subordinates.  Silas is an old friend of the main protagonist's late grandmother and one who is burdened with the knowledge of something that could not only threaten his empire, but all of existence as well.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
Protagonist Ally -- (Age: 27, Gender: Female, Species: Human) A classic example of "you murdered my family, so I will train night and day until I am good enough to defeat you."  Once the protector of her village, she seeks vengeance against the main antagonist of the season for the brutal destruction of her home, family, and friends.  Ariana is adept in both medieval styles of weaponry/fighting and futuristic technology.  While not a genius, she is a budding strategist and masterful archer.  Sadly, her choices of teacher and ally in this crusade were limited and she reluctantly finds herself paired up with a misogynistic, self-absorbed douchebag whom she leeches tips and tricks and resources off of.  But once she feels she's ready, she'll dump him and embark on her quest, come what may.

Antagonist/Comic Foil -- (Age: 32, Gender: Male, Species: Human) The Hunter is a Rob Liefeld super hero drawing come to life.  He's a man who is overly muscular and thinks of himself as being the best that ever lived.  He is arrogant, self-absorbed, demeaning of others, and armed to the teeth with futuristic weaponry.  He has no evil plans nor is he a villain in the traditional sense.  However, his own motivations to play "the hero" come into conflict with the show's primary protagonists leading to a confrontation with the one-track minded oaf.
