Welcome to the Superman & Bugs Bunny Comic Dub Issue #2 Casting Call! As someone who is a big fan of the Looney Tunes and superhero stories in general, I thought this comic series had great potential to become a comic dub project and have several voice actors with different skills working together!
Superman & Bugs Bunny was a 4-issue mini-series that ran from July to October of 2000. It is the first official crossover between the Justice League and Looney Tunes.
Everyone who was casted for Issue #1 already sent their lines and the video is currently in the editing process. But in the meantime, I thought it would be a good idea to use this time to also look for people to voice the second wave of characters in this comic series and keep the momentum going!
RULES FOR CASTING:
-Send the audio in either WAV or MP3 format.
-Have a decent microphone with little to no echo or background noise. Try to avoid any peaking in your audio as well.
-Make sure to follow the lines requested and to do at least two takes for each line.
-There is a Discord group for most of our communication, so make sure to put your Discord username in your audition or DM me your username if you want. Email and Casting Call DM can be two other options if needed, but Discord is better for networking and meeting new people! :D
-You can audition for as many roles as you want.
-Some of the characters present in this comic will return for either one of the last two issues or both, so please make sure you can commit in voicing these characters again.
-If you are not casted here, be patient as there will be one more wave of characters down the line for issue 3 and 4.

I’m looking for a female voice actor/actress who can do a good news reporter voice.
We interrupt this program for an important news. An unidentified airplane around the size of a city block has been spotted today flying over Metropolis. The origin of this plane is still a mystery, but authorities suspect that it was built but non other than the criminal Toyman. (she listens to more info) And... Apparently there has been a report of a... Bunny and an imp on the top of the plane. (to the crew) Sorry, did I hear that correctly?
Toyman is a major antagonist in the Superman franchise. He was a brilliant toymaker turned supervillain who uses his crafty and impressive skills to make weaponized toys.
He’s one of the main antagonists of the Superman & Bugs Bunny comic series alongside Mister Mxyzptlk and Yoyo Dodo.
I’m looking for someone who can do a menacing voice but who can also be a bit comical once in a while. The best example I can think of this would be Deem Bristow’s Eggman voice.

Henery is a loudmouth chicken hawk. In the typical Henery and Foghorn cartoon, Henery has struck out on his own for the first time, eager to capture and eat a chicken. Having led a rather sheltered life, however, he doesn't know what a chicken looks like, only that chicken hawks eat them. Foghorn presumes that this diminutive, naive troublemaker is no real threat to anyone. However, seeing the potential for annoyance, he points Henery in the direction of The Barnyard Dog.

Alfred Pennyworth is the polite, kind, and loyal butler to the Wayne family. After the Waynes' tragic demise at the hands of an armed mugger, Alfred continued to raise young Bruce who later became the vigilante Batman. He assists Bruce as the Batman in his endless war on crime, and acts as a father figure to him.

Perry White is a highly respected journalist working as managing editor of the Daily Planet in Metropolis, making him a close associate of Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Clark Kent and by extension Superman.

Jimmy Olsen is a photographer and reporter working for the Daily Planet in Metropolis alongside Clark Kent and Lois Lane underneath chief-editor Perry White. He is most well known as being a close personal friend to Superman, and has a signal watch to call him for help at any time.
