Super Smash Bros. MUGEN Cast! (Non-Profit) Wave 7

Project Overview

I'm currently working on this passion project. A Smash Bros. fangame of my own, running on the MUGEN engine! Ever since August 2015, I started this project from being a silly little hobby to becoming more and more of a serious project! Now the game runs on IKEMEN GO which gives me the ability to let my game support Wi-Fi matches, additional game modes, including a single player story driven campaign mode! Thus, having me construct the game's new plot and all I needed was to have voiced cutscenes! Which brings me to here! If you joined on board the Smash Bros. MUGEN crew. Welcome aboard! You're awesome for participating in this passion project of mine, the most ambitious crossover!

Please note that more roles will be added over time, so keep your eyes peeled for new roles that will be posted frequently.

  • The future of the project

    I have some bad news everyone. I'm no longer welcomed in Casting Call Club. I have lost so many people, and I've been debating whether or not to have Shantae (the main protagonist of the game's plot) to even have a voice or to use voice clips. I haven't been the best of sorts because of this and its not been pretty for me... I think its time to use a different platform. Since our current Shantae VA left the project because of me, I'm going to give it ONE MORE chance in a new platform called 123 Voices since people have been spreading hate filled rumors about me that are plaguing the site, making me unwanted here, and its probably for the best anyways. So I bid you all Adieu, I probably won't be that missed here, but those who are casted from here and previous pages are not going to have their roles revoked, you all get to keep your roles, unless its those who have stepped out of the project that is. All roles will be posted in 123 Voices from here on in. I will see you guys there.

  • Ryu up for Recasting

    Our previous VA for Ryu has stepped down, the role for the iconic Shoto fighter is up for grabs! Now, talk is cheap! You know what to do! 😉

  • Kat and Haruka up for recast!

    Our VA for Kat and Haruka has stepped down due to life complications. So you can have a chance to voice Kat from the Wario Ware series, and Haruka Amami, Namco's Hatsune Miku (so to say).

  • More Roles Added! The Phantom Thieves, Arle recast, and more!

    Sorry for the late update, but we got new roles! We have the rest of the Phantom Thieves! That's right! Futaba, Ann, and the rest of the Phantom Thieves are up for grabs! You can audition for these roles to have a chance to steal the hearts of millions! Also, we got roles open for Amy Rose, Bean the Dynamite, Midbus, and the remaining open roles that are still up for grabs! Also, our Arle VA stepped down due to a busy schedule, so now you can have a shot of voicing the titular protagonist of the beloved Puyo Puyo series! On a side note, we're still looking for Animators to help with the cutscenes, so if you're a budding animator, you can have a chance to animate for this game! We have very exciting cutscenes that you can animate!

    We're opening our 7th page to extend the searchable time, there's no new roles up yet but I will get them pushed out as soon as possible. However, some roles have been re-opened, you can voice the reopened lead role as Shantae, the main protagonist of the story and a fighter on the game's roster! Shantae, the main protagonist of the Shantae series and of this game's Adventure Mode! She's a half-genie (half human, half genie) who tries to fill her mother's shoes of being a guardian genie by protecting her home from evil threats. In this game, she tries to join the annual Smash tournament along with the greatest fighters in history, but when an evil threat emerges, she finds herself joining forces with them to stop this threat! Only to have the adversaries take a strange interest in her. She also feels overshadowed by characters that are also trying to join the roster who are seen as bigger faces than her, such as Shovel Knight and Steve, to which she puts herself down and becomes doubtful, especially when the crowd starts taunting her. But when the world is in danger, she bounces back to stop this threat!


She sounds bubbly, cheery, and downright adorable in her voice to emphasize her cute and adorable character.
Also, you also have to voice Nega Shantae when you get this role too, basically Shantae, but evil!

P.S. This role contains singing too.

Tails is the secondary protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, he's Sonic's best friend with a strong brotherly bond, he uses his twin tails as a makeshift propeller to help give him temporary flight and can also use them for offensive methods, he is also a boy genius with an IQ of 300! He's very tech savvy and is really good at gathering intel from Sonic's foes to come up with counter strategies against them, and can outsmart his foes with his intellect as well! In this game, he once again tags along with Sonic, after returning back to Atlas (the main central utopian-like city in the World of Trophies) after being flung off from the Midair Stadium incident. When he notices that Sonic brought Shantae along with him, he realizes that the portal to different worlds have been reopened and everything is spilling out from them bringing a lot of confusion and chaos. He joins the Heroes of Smash to help stop this evil that's causing this!

Kat and Ana are often depicted as possessing surprising abilities; they have been seen cloning themselves, jumping higher than the average human can, and defeating enemies more than twice their size when working as a team. Many of these powers are classic ninja techniques. Despite this, Kat and Ana are also displayed as quite naïve. While Kat is usually portrayed as being more focused and mature, in WarioWare: Twisted! She disturbs a nest of bees without thinking things through. Kat acts bossy which sometimes results in making Ana cry, but she cares deeply for her. Ana is quieter and more cautious than her sister. Kat and Ana are said to love animals and flowers, respectively.

Ryu is a silent, meek, humble, submissive, self-deprecating, and respectful individual; which is often juxtaposed against the light-hearted, fiery persona of his childhood friend, Ken. He wanders the world with the desire for complete mastery of his martial art, and takes both his travels and training seriously. For Ryu, the training and the mastery that comes from the fight are all that he requires for satisfaction, declining the more material trappings of his various accomplishments as a warrior, simply moving on to his next challenge once he is victorious without delay, unless he is offered food or if he wants to converse with his friendly rivals. Though he does not actively seek the role of a hero, he possesses a strong sense of justice as well; protecting the innocent against the predations of bullies and tyrants is one of the few things that Ryu will prioritize over a satisfying fight.

Arle is a cheery girl that's somewhat of a tomboy. In Puyo Puyo Tetris, it's been stated she hates proper etiquette such as hand sanitation and being told not to play with your food.  Although she's normally optimistic, she has her limits and will start scolding others if irritated. She typically acts as the "straight man" of the cast, often being bewildered by the many weirdos and jerks she encounters. A common example is with Satan, who often comes up with out there schemes to marry her, which often causes Arle to respond with annoyance, anger, or disappointment. Because of this, she can sometimes come off as surprisingly mean-spirited, either intentionally ignoring her opponents or flat out mocking them. Regardless, she doesn't hold personal grudges towards anyone, even for her many enemies and rivals.

Akko is best described as a cheerful and optimistic yet impulsive and determined girl, which is consistent with her normally exaggerated expressions. She is always up for a challenge, even if it seems too difficult for her and everyone else. As Akko is very social, kind, and truly compassionate, people are often drawn to her happy disposition. She will do anything to pursue her dream to become a talented witch like Chariot, even if it means to put her life in danger. Though at the same time, she can also be selfish and impulsive when she's devoted to something.

Since meeting Sonic on Little Planet, Amy has become his self-proclaimed girlfriend and has attempted to win his heart by any means in many of their adventures. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without it. Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and boundless energy. However, she has a scary temper and her infatuation with Sonic makes her short-sighted and a bit obsessive about him, having followed him everywhere since meeting him. Nevertheless, she has a pure heart and will not let anything stop her.

Bean is a rather goofy and eccentric being, prone to mood swings and extreme reactions. He seems to take little seriously and his logic is often dubious, though he's capable of moments of surprising clarity and intelligence. He tends to make irreverent, nonsensical or borderline inappropriate comments, often indifferent to any offense he may cause. His moods and reactions are extremely unpredictable; while generally an eager being, he is capable of being friendly and easy-going as easily as he can be indignant and angry. While he may be crazy, he's still potentially dangerous. It also seems that he feigns at least some of his apparent insanity in order to throw off his enemies.

Haruka is a optimistic and enthusiastic girl with a love for singing where her personality makes it easy for her to get along with most people she meets and she's commonly thought to just be a normal girl. Due to her nature, she can quite easily get along with almost anybody. However, she is shown to be very clumsy, often tripping and falling over nothing. Despite this, she loves to engage in physical activities, such as dancing or sporting events. Because spending time together is an important value to Haruka, she loves her friends and fellow idols from 765 Production immensely, and is happiest when she can work and sing together with them.

This character speaks both English and Japanese and this role does require singing since she's an idol. Her voice is prone to give people heart attacks over how adorable and wholesome she sounds.

Wonder Momo is someone who tries to be courageous, and most of times arrives to try and save the day. However, its usually in a comedic manner, leading to her being seen as a bit of a pervy joke by some, but a delightful breath of fresh air for others.

Similar to Betilla the Fairy, she is a calm and very meditative character, even in her captivity at the Fairy Glade, and spends most of her time meditating deep in the forest, by floating while in a sitting lotus position. When she is not meditating, she is a fun-loving and friendly character that puts a lot of faith and trust in the heroes of the world and is willing to help Rayman defeat Admiral Razorbeard and the Robo-Pirate army.

Futaba Sakura is the Navigator of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5. She is different from the main crew of the Phantom Thieves, she was a shut-in who does not attend school and rarely, if ever, leaves her house. When she first joins the Phantom Thieves, Futaba states that her main goal is to find out the truth behind her mother's death, but also gains a growing investment in the group's goal of reforming society. After her heart is changed and she begins to actively go out, Futaba still initially tends to hide behind the protagonist so that she won't be seen in public, or wears masks which make it impossible to identify her.

Ann's personable nature allows her to get along extremely well with her friends in the Phantom Thieves, and acts as a mediator to needless infighting between members of the group, especially between Ryuji and Morgana, ensuring they get along and remember they have a common goal. She is particularly considerate and kind towards Morgana in early encounters once she gets somewhat used to him, and may stand up to him at times if he gets provoked into a fight. She can still use a casual and sarcastic tone, such as with Ryuji, as on occasions they frequently bicker and exchange jabs with each other.

 Haru is mature, level-headed, and kind in almost every way. She is also described as very feminine, as pointed out by Ann. She enjoys helping the Phantom Thieves, as she becomes delighted when she learns that her hobby of vegetable-growing can prove useful to the group's activities. This is because she wishes to be seen as dependable by them, but often worries that she may not be doing good enough, and can be fairly self-deprecating when she expresses that doubt. Haru is shown to be easygoing, very polite to teachers and authorities, and often shows a friendly smile to her peers when talking. She also has a rather refined speaking pattern. Haru can sometimes be playful and teasing as well, but knows not to push limits and is never taken to a serious degree.

While she's mostly a kind person, she can also be very bossy and is harshly critical of those who don't live up to her expectations, whose case she constantly gets on due to his consistently nonchalant approach to school life, implying that she's a perfectionist. She also has a ton of repressed anger issues over being made to stand on a pedestal by adults who don't follow the same standards themselves, and as such has the worst temper of the group bar none.

Ryuji's rather fickle and follows what interests him the most. Although he has passion for helping others, he very often gets distracted by his perverted interest in girls, which includes picking up girls. Ryuji was interested in "Victoria's Housekeeping," a maid service with adult undertones. He would also be convinced to join the school's social studies trip only upon hearing there'll be female actresses, making the excuse that he's taking up Morgana's suggestion to keep a low profile. This is also reinforced with Ann Takamaki, as he might stare at her in the Mona car while the group were traveling through the desert in Futaba's Palace. When Ann confronts him about this later, he doesn't even try to deny it, saying that "it was a great view."

Yusuke is incredibly level-headed. He sees no use in panicking or getting nervous, as it does nothing to help the situation at hand. However, when Madarame's Shadow exposes his true self, Yusuke doesn't hide that he felt betrayed and angered. He tends to be more sincere when dealing with subjects he admires from an aesthetic standpoint. For example, he is very direct and respectful when he approaches Ann out of a desire to paint her. However, this sincerity can make him appear pushy, showing that he has a very stubborn, headstrong side, which comes out when he is very inspired.

Officer Jenny is not a single entity. Rather, there are many Jennys working as police officers across the various regions of the Pokémon world. Generally, Officer Jennys are brave and determined, but can be ineffective in their police duties. They fight against the likes of Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua, and Team Galactic, among other miscellaneous criminals. Although there are many exceptions, Officer Jenny will generally have Growlithe to use as a police dog.

Tessa is very curious and is always in the pursuit of knowledge, traveling across various realms, attempting to learn something new. She is a sorcerologist who lives in Icelarn, and excels in the use of magic. A large number of storms began breaking out in the year 1999. Tessa doesn't believe this to be a natural phenomenon. She leaves her home to find the person behind this. To this end, she first discovered Hydron. They fought and she defeated him, thinking that "marine creatures" shouldn't be in her land. When she meets an opponent, she can easily tell something about him or her, such as whether the opponent is evil or good.

N. Tropy is a sadistic and cruel person, (possibly even more so then her male counterpart) claiming to have forced her universe's Tawna to watch her kill Crash and Coco, and also muses about exterminating wild un-mutated bandicoots like pests and plucking legs off of spiders for fun. Her personality seems mainly similar to her male counterpart, if with a more elegant edge. She is shown however to genuinely care for her male counterpart.

Bluster Blaster is an arcade machine resembling that of Sinistar. His speech is limited to very short and easy phrases spoken with excessive emphasis. Because he's the largest member of the C.O.P.S., he usually carries their things in his token case. In Episode 6, after Sam intentionally loses a game of Tic-Tac-Toe against him, he gives Sam and Max the talisman that they wanted. In Season 2, following the opening of Pimp Le Car, he becomes mellow and confused after he has an accident testing the S.O.L. antenna prior to Episode 3, resulting in him talking in a disorientated voice. It is revealed in Episode 2 that Bluster Blaster was originally created by young Sam. Between Seasons 2 and 3, Bluster Blaster (who is now talking normally again) leaves the C.O.P.S. to join Bosco on a trip to Las Vegas and help him count cards. Unfortunately, he was thrown out because he counted them out loud. He was discovered in the harbor during Episode 4, revealing that he was meant to deliver a letter to Momma Bosco. Because he is alone, he is forced to speak in longer phrases and sentences. He has expressed that he never wants anything to do with Bosco again and that his time with the C.O.P.S. is over. Much to Curt's dismay, he and the Crime-Tron are now seeing each other.

Yzma is malicious, funny, silly, raspy and power-hungry. However, it seems that she raised Kuzco, rather than his parents, and has been an advisor and the chemist to his family for many years. It is only when Kuzco abruptly and callously fires her that she turns on him, deciding to kill him, then fill the power vacuum left in his wake and become empress. It's also implied that her being the one who raised him is part of the reason for Kuzco's negative personality traits.

And just when this crossover couldn't get any weirder! To that I say, it CAN get weirder! Ugly Sonic was originally offered the role as Sonic The Hedgehog in the 2020 live-action film of the same name, however he was fired after his looks (particularly his "human teeth") generated massive backlash on the internet.
