Sugar Sugar Rune (English Fandub)

Chocolat is an energetic girl with a forceful personality who is often using her aggressive personality make herself popular. This aggressive personality, however, only works in the Magical World; thus, becoming less popular in the Human World. Because of this, Chocolat is often jealous of Vanilla, often getting lots more hearts than she does. Regardless of the effects she receives from being less popular, Chocolat is still a very loyal friend, caring for when her friends are sad, angry.

Vanilla is kind, sensitive, and a little timid. She is organized and intelligent. Despite this, she is shy, clumsy, and a cry-baby. Even though her sweetness makes her popular and cute in the human world, she did not have many friends in the magical world (where being popular meant being strong and audacious). Compared to Chocolat, she is more conscientious and calm, often reflecting before jumping to conclusions and asking Chocolat to do the same (though Chocolat never listens).

Duke has a laid-back, go-with-the-flow personality. He tries to help Chocola get hearts but doesn't really help at all. He is quite lazy and has a vicious rivalry with Blanca, although he flirts with her occasionally. Other times, however, Duke is quite friendly. He is a bit of a flirt and tries to get together with other frogs. He ends his sentences with "kero", the japanese onomatopeia associated with frogs.

Blanca is a bit snobbish. She enjoys teasing people, especially Chocola. Blanca tries very hard to get Vanilla to be Queen, and spites Chocola in the process. Even though Blanca and Chocola have a very rocky relationship, Blanca is very loyal to Vanilla. She always tries to help Vanilla get a ton of hearts, maybe sometimes cheating in the process.

Candy is a good queen; being selfless and caring who doesn't want to enter a battle with the Ogres and she sympathizes with them where she says that if they continue this fight, the cycle of revenge will only get wider.

He is very imaginative, having convinced himself that Chocolat and Vanilla are aliens. Although he often acts childish, he is shown to act mature and caring when others are upset, particularly Chocolat. His dog, Hiroshi, provides him with company while his father is away on business trips.
