The Comic Experience is going to adapt the final volume of the Poe Dameron comics, titled "The Awakening." We are also adapting the Age of Resistance comics so we need a lot of Sequel Trilogy characters. TCE has been producing critically acclaimed comic series similar to this one for four years, especially Star Wars content. We are thrilled to include this story in our line up! Before we delve too far into what this project is about, we have supplied links to some of our previously completed works to give you a feel for what you will be voicing.

How it Works:
Suffice to say, we have mastered bringing to life comics over our four year run on YouTube. We pride ourselves on our company's quality in both visuals, sound effects, music, and the most important part: the voice actors. All productions start with a highly detailed and descriptive casting call. Our typical policy is we don't cast actors until the last day of the call so everyone has plenty of time to audition. Our CC's typically last 2-3 weeks. At the end of the CC process, the Series Director will make the casting decisions based on a variety of factors such as audio quality, performance, vocal range, talent, etc. Once the casting decisions have been made, we send a link for a private Discord server where you will find your scripts, submit your lines, and meet and mingle with your fellow castmates. Deadlines will be posted for line submissions to allow voice actors time to first takes and if requested, retakes. From there it is up to the Director to bring the video to life. Production time will be as airtight as possible, so please try to have your audio in as quickly as possible so production can begin.
The Synopsis:
Lor San Tekka has been found and Poe Dameron is off to recover the missing link to Luke Skywalker's whereabouts. But his plan goes astray when the First Order intervenes on Jakku…Follow Poe Dameron's adventures during the unseen events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens!

Son of Rebellion heroes Leia Organa and Han Solo, Ben Solo seemed destined to become a great Jedi knight under the instruction of his uncle, Luke Skywalker. But Luke sensed a growing darkness in Ben, and on one fateful night he was able to view glimpses of the boy's future through the Force, and he drew his lightsaber in instinctive fear of the man that young Solo would become. By the time Skywalker realized what he had done, Ben had already reacted, crossing sabers with his uncle before collapsing the entire building down upon him, then wiping out the remaining Jedi in his order. Now following the teachings of the evil Supreme Leader Snoke, Kylo Ren seeks to topple the New Republic and destroy his surviving family members - the only links to the boy he once was. But deep down, the light side still calls on him to turn back...

Rey grew up as an orphan on the desert planet of Jakku, scavenging electronics and other equipment from the wreckage of the final battle between the Empire and the New Republic in order to trade for her next meal. After many years of waiting on the desolate world for her parents to return for her, Rey finally leaves the planet to accompany former Stormtrooper Finn and the droid BB-8 to help the Resistance locate Luke Skywalker and wage war against the First Order. After witnessing the death of Han Solo and besting Kylo Ren in combat, Rey received Jedi training from Skywalker, and returned to surrender herself to the First Order, in an attempt to return Kylo Ren to the light side. However, after she and Ren defeated Snoke and his royal guards, the dark side warrior refused to join Rey, and she was left to flee with the broken pieces of Skywalker's lightsaber and help lead the Resistance to victory.

Son of two former Rebels, Poe Dameron grew up knowing that the Empire was evil, and that the First Order needed to be closely watched, lest they grow to be just as big a threat as the Empire once was. After spending several years as a pilot for the New Republic navy, Dameron realized that it was useless to hope that the Republic would do what was necessary to keep the First Order in line, and so he joined General Organa's Resistance. Known for reckless and risky actions, Dameron nonetheless gained a reputation as the best pilot in the Resistance, as well as a reputation for getting results. Under Organa's guidance, Dameron has risen to become a great leader in the Resistance, one who cares about the lives of those under his command.

Snoke is a mysterious dark side wielder who has been watching galactic events since before the Clone Wars. After the fall of the Empire, Snoke took command of the remnants of the Imperial navy, and with the help of Rae Sloane and Brendol Hux reshaped it into the First Order, a more brutal and better equipped version of the Empire, ready to take on the New Republic and its Resistance. Snoke even managed to lure Ben Solo to the dark side, transforming him into the ruthless - if unstable - Kylo Ren.

Orphan, farmboy, pilot, rebel, Jedi, and now hermit - Luke Skywalker plays one of the most pivotal roles in the entire Star Wars saga - second only, perhaps, to his father, Anakin Skywalker. After redeeming his father and escaping the exploding Death Star II, Luke Skywalker spent many years traveling the galaxy, learning all that he could about the Jedi, the Sith, and the Force itself, before ultimately setting up his own Jedi temple to train a new generation of Jedi knights. One of his most promising pupils was his nephew, Ben Solo. But Solo became tainted by the dark side, and in a moment of weakness, Luke accidentally provoked his nephew into destroying the temple, and killing his fellow students. Ashamed of his failure, and convinced that history would always repeat itself - that the Jedi Order would constantly lead to the rise of darkness - Luke exiled himself to Ahch-to, home of the first Jedi temple, where he hoped to burn the ancient Jedi texts and let the Order finally die for good. But he could never actually bring himself to burn the books, and the arrival of the prospective Jedi Rey will lead him to reconsider his opinions.

Leia Organa is one of the first named characters introduced to us in the Star Wars films, and she plays an integral role in the events of both the Original and Sequel Trilogies. After the rebel victory at the Battle of Endor, Leia married Han Solo and became a senator in the New Republic, fighting against corruption and complacency to liberate worlds such as Kashyyyk from the lingering Imperial presence. When it became clear to her that politics alone could not keep the Imperial Remnant (now transformed into the First Order) at bay, she and several veteran rebels formed the Resistance, an organization determined to keep the First Order in check. When her son, Ben Solo, was lured to the dark side by Supreme Leader Snoke, Leia only became further convinced of the necessity of defeating Snoke and his legions. Now, with the help of Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron, she hopes to reconnect with her brother, Luke Skywalker, and lead the Resistance to victory.

Rose Tico is a mechanic working for the Resistance, and the sister of Paige Tico, a bomber pilot. When her sister dies in the First Order attack on the Resistance base, Rose becomes even more determined to see the First Order fall, and justice return to the galaxy. Teaming up with Finn, Rose travels to the casino city of Canto Bight in search of a codebreaker who can sneak the pair onto Snoke's personal star destroyer, where they can sabotage the First Order tracking system and allow the Resistance to escape and regroup.

Naka Iit is a scavenger living on the desert planet Jakku. When out searching for materials to scavenge one day, Iit finds Poe Dameron stranded after ejecting from his crashing TIE Fighter. Iit agrees to help Poe escape the harsh desert and return to civilization.It's pronounced Naka Ait, rhymes with "light".

Temmin "Snap" Wexley has been fighting the Imperial Remnant since his teens, when he and Wedge Antilles flew into battle at Jakku against the full force of the surviving Imperial navy. Some 25 years after the New Republic's victory at the Battle of Jakku, Wexley became one of the first pilots in General Organa's Resistance against the First Order. Now serving under Commander Poe Dameron, Wexley and the rest of Black Squadron have had many run-ins with the First Order, including taking part in the Battle of Starkiller Base. As the rest of the Resistance prepares to flee the First Order, Wexley and the remainder of Black Squadron are sent to search out allies for the Resistance, to aid in the war effort.

Jessika Pava is a Resistance pilot and a member of Black Squadron, serving under Commander Poe Dameron in many skirmishes with the First Order. After their victory at the Battle of Starkiller Base, Pava and Black Squadron are sent on a mission by General Organa, to locate allies for the Resistance to aid in the coming war.

This is Jessika Pava of the Resistance Black Squadron, current pilot designation Black Three. I'm flying an Incom-Freitek T-70, with Astromech support from 6G-66, AKA Sixer.
This might be my last transmission for a while. I'm about to do something that's... well, it's just like everything Black Squadron does. Incredibly brave, incredibly important, and... incredibly stupid.
Formerly a member of the New Republic navy, Suralinda Javos befriended Poe Dameron before leaving the service to become a Holonet journalist. After a while, it became harder for her to find any good stories to report on, and she decided to trick Dameron into leading her to the Resistance's secret base, so that she could divulge details about their operations to the public. After seeing the genuine passion of the members of the Resistance, and coming to understand the importance of what they do, Javos has a change of heart, confesses to General Organa, and dedicates herself to helping the Resistance's cause. Suralinda is the only character on this with no pre-established voice. We are thinking something like a Romanian accent for her. She spits acid and is reptilian.
