Project Overview
Casting for the second installment of Spider-Man: The Audio Drama!
This is part of the larger "Marvel Audio Drama Universe", from Audio Anomaly. You may have seen some of our other projects-- Moon Knight: Long Knights; She Hulk: Attorney at Law; Punisher: Punishment Past Due; Iron Man: Legacies-- just to name a few! This is the second installment of our reimaging of the Spider-Man mythos, within that larger universe!
The first episode has so far received over 5,000 views, and people have been wanting us to release more for quite some time now! In order to do that-- we need your help!

A gadgeteer Robin Hood type thief, targeting the wealthy and powerful, stealing their ill-gotten gains and redistributing it to those in need. She's a thrill-seeker, a flirt, an enigma, and a badass all in one. Much of her outward presentation is a carefully crafted performance, however. Underneath, she's a traumatized young woman, carrying a heavy secret, living a suffocating double life, distracting herself from her own demons with the thrill of the chase.

[Quiet and serious, to herself, before a big job] Time to get to work, Daddy. This one's a big one...
[Taunting Norman Osborn over a hijacked video feed] There it is, like clockwork-- an onslaught of violent threats, trying to get one of your underlings to track down the source of my signal. You're very predictable. Like I said, Norm, I know all about you.
[Playfully flirtatious - Spider-Man plans to distract their pursuers, to cover her escape] Thanks, Spider. You're a doll. Who says chivalry's dead?
A brilliant inventor and nuclear physicist, now a scientist working for Norman Osborn-- under duress. Outwardly, he's a brilliant but timid man, stammering, fumbling everywhere outside the lab, completely subservient. But how much of that is real-- and how much of it is just a man simmering with rage, and biding his time...?

[Presenting Norman Osborn with his findings on Spider-Man] We've... seen enhanced humans before, Mr. Osborn. We live in New York, there's-- well, there's... practically one around every corner, it feels like. But this unique combination of strength, speed, agility-- it's... uncanny.
As-- as near as I can tell, the Spider-Man has the ability to lift at least ten tons. To clear a city block in a single jump. A--and his reaction time, it's... Mister Osborn, I've never seen anyone dodge point-blank gunfire before.
If I had to guess, his senses are... passively interpreting environmental stimuli at a subconscious level. They must be. Some sort of... early-warning ability.
An engineer turned thief with delusions of grandeur. He has a rather embarrassing fight with Spider-Man in the opening scene.. but surely this won't be the last we see of him!

Two MORE words, bug: shut up and die.
[Delivering his villainous manifesto, such as it is... ;)] Squashin' you, though? That's gonna put my rep through the roof. I won't just be a nobody breakin' my back for other people. I'll be the man who friggin' killed Spider-Man-- and then nobody'll ever laugh at the name Herman Schultz ever again!
[Complete disbelief-- Spider-Man has stopped to take a phone call in the middle of the fight! The disrespect!] What... what is happening right now?
After Black Cat steals some sensitive data from Oscorp, Norman Osborn hires notorious Russian hitman Alexsi Sytsevich to deal with her, and recover what she took. To aid in this, he equips Alexsi with a mechanized horned battle suit. Alexsi loves the idea, and takes to calling himself "The Rhino". This is an evil, vile man, who delights in bringing destruction and pain.

[Disgruntled, frustrated by Spider-Man's arrival] You are intruding, itsy bitsy Spider.
[Preparing to deliver the killing blow to Black Cat] Oh, no. Little Koshka is broken. No matter. We can still have much fun together. You'll see.
Father to Gwen Stacy. An NYPD captain. At home, he's a bit of a lovable goof. On the job, he's an Irish-Italian hardass, worn and weary, but loyal and capable.

[Peter makes a hasty exit, and Cpt. Stacy is concerned] Boy. He sure took off fast. You two... you know. You doin' okay?
[Controlling a suspect-- not in this particular episode, but I want to hear some "cop talk", for future installments!] NYPD, jackass! Hands up! All six of 'em!
A mysterious, thus far unseen companion of Mr. O'Mara's. She chastises and advises him when necessary, as he sets about on his secret mission.

[Responding to Peter's dismay at his secret identity being compromised. Again.] Aw. Hey, that's adorable. Listen, don't feel bad-- your integrity's one of your most celebrated traits. Who'd expect you to be any good at lying?
We're so far off the beaten path here-- how do you know that's even true anymore? She could be about to die tonight. She's certainly making a good go of it.
