About Spider-Man | A Minecraft Series Season 1

Heya! I'm Oveq, and I'm trying to kinda break the mold on a few different fronts. I'm hoping to be able to have a more original roleplay than your generic highschool or medieval ones, and if you've read the title, you know this is definitely not one of those. Also, I'm trying to do this Spider-Man roleplay to add some actual good content into the whole Marvel RP genre. Right now, if you search for a Spider-Man RP on YouTube, you're likely to only really find quickly thrown together ones with minimal story for a very young audience. I'm trying to just make something everyone can get enjoyment from.

With that out of the way, I'll explain the project itself. It will be a multi-season (13 episodes each) project, based on your favorite web-slinger, Spider-Man. In this series, there will be plenty of Original Characters in order to try and spice up the series a bit, so if you see a character you don't recognize, don't fear. The series takes a lot of inspiration from the Ultimate Spider-Man comic run, and he will be starting as your generic 15-year-old nerd. I will not be needing body-actors or anything, as I will be doing that all in a single-player environment as to not take up time from your schedules. The only thing I will need from you is co-operation, and of course, your lines.

If you are accepted, send me your discord and I'll invite you to a server with the rest of the cast.

I don't really have much rules, but here are the ones I do have:

  1. 1. Fit your character. If Flash Thompson sounds like a nerd, or Norman Osborn is sounding like a 11-year-old boy, that isn't right. If you've got a deeper voice, go for older characters, and so on.
  2. 2. Treat other cast/crew with respect. This one should be obvious. I don't want this project to be a hassle for anyone, so if people are treating each other badly, that ruins things.
  3. 3. Be dedicated to the project. Don't just leave for whatever reason, as that throws off a lot of things. If you have something come up that will stop you from helping out for a while, let us know before going inactive or whatever.
  4. 4. Do not spoil anything. Currently, the plan is to get in all lines, edit everything, and then start uploading. I don't want to upload 3 episodes and then run into some roadblock and have to end it there. This of course gives people the opportunity to spoil things, but that's no fun.
  5. 5. And obligatorily, have a good mic. I'm not super picky, but try not to have any background noise at least. (no tvs, conversations, etc.). If you do have some amount of static, try just leaving ~10 seconds of silence at the start of your recordings so I can try my best to remove any static you have.

And that's about all! I look forward to seeing your auditions. If you have any questions on a character, don't hesitate to message me and ask! Feel free to audition for multiple characters, however, you will only be picked for one, of course. The deadline will continue being pushed forward, as there is no rush, but without CCC gold, you can only set it a month ahead.

*****NOTE: With only a few days left, I've got a few favorites I'll probably cast, so if you're newly stumbling upon this casting call, shoot your shot for some of the non-auditioned characters for a better chance at a part!!!!*******
