Project Overview

MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO AUDITION/SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS!!!

This is a deferred project, payment will be based on the kickstarter and other crowd funding/merch sales.


Spelljinked is a fantastical story about a young witch in training, Sophie, and her four other friends as they face the magic and challenges of growing up while handling mystical mayhem thrown in their way. With a talking cat by her side, Sophie aims to become a super cool witch by the time she graduates high school and maybe gain favor with a deity or two.


This animated pilot will be made as both a 10 year celebration of the story conception, and as a pitch for a full series to either be independently produced or picked up by a network or a larger studio. The animated series will be based off of the ongoing comic of the same name with additional story elements added on to enrich the series. Plans for a Kickstarter will be discussed once a team has been assembled and we can have our first meeting.

  • Cast Announcement!

    Hello and thank you all for submitting to Spelljinked! I genuinely appreciate all the interest that has arisen from this and I do wish I had more roles open to allow for me to keep so many of you on the project.

    The cast list has been finalized and roles have been assigned. This was not easy to narrow down and I had to go through multiple rounds of listening and debating before landing on who I did. I hope you will all still follow the project as it progresses and show your support when the pilot launches.

    As the series progresses we will need more voices for the rest of the cast! As of right now, we do not have a time frame as to when that will be, but an announcement will be made when that time does come.

    Submissions for artists are still open! We are still looking for animators to assist with the pilot!

  • Deadlines Approaching!

    Hello everyone!

    First off, I want to thank everyone who has submitted a portfolio or an audition for Spelljinked! It really has been incredible seeing so many people excited to help get this pilot running.

    Now, we are getting close to the final day of submissions and I really look forward to hearing more takes and reviewing more portfolios. If you are looking to audition for any additional roles, please submit before the deadline.

    Any questions or concerns you may have can be sent via DMs on CCC. We are still looking for more people to audition for roles so please feel free to share the project with whoever you feel would enjoy it or be a good fit! All applicants must be 18 years or older, there will be no exceptions to this rule.

Sophie is a 13 year old girl who just has a lot of anxiety when it comes to being herself unconditionally. She's more comfortable around her friends, but can get into her own head when she isn't making a joke. She is our main protagonist for this story and has a "try to fake it till you make it" attitude around people.

Zetta is a 14 year old girl and the oldest out of her friends. She is bright and cares about botany and all things plant related. When around adults she has a more polite demeanor, but around friends and people more close in age to her she will be more lax.

Amie is a 13 year old girl and the youngest out of her friends. She is a princess who is devoted to her position and loves her friends deeply. She is very energetic around her friends, but will maintain a professional and proper demeanor around adults and other nobility.
