Shadow Stories | Ep. 3 "What Lurks Beneath"

Hey everyone!
This is a casting call for the 3rd episode of Shadow Stories, a horror anthology podcast. For this episode, I need some strong dialects from all around the U.K. This is also going to be a shorter casting call than usual because of a nasty cold and some other life events I've been dealing with. With that said, if you no someone who you think would fit a role, please send them to this page!
Also, please note that after the casting call, I'll be looking for a shorter turn around so I'm able to edit and release the episode on time. The amount of lines will be fairly small as the episodes are based off of short stories and most of the script is narration.
If cast, I'd love to keep you on as a regular who would join me in voicing future episodes form time to time! I'm especially looking for a more diverse cast so PoC, LGBTQ, and anyone else are encouraged to audition!

Female. Tough woman. Curses a lot. Part of a team that used to be special forces, now turned security detail. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult to middle aged.

I got you! Don't shit your knickers just yet! (shouted to someone after you save them in the middle of some chaos)
What the fuck are you doing? All of us can fit if we squeeze in! (Yelling at someone trying to take your ride to safety)

Male. The youngest of the security team. Probably not as mentally tough as the others. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult.
Sh- should we go up and see if they need help? (Frightened. Probably on the verge of vomiting from nerves)
Ahhhh! (Yelling out as your about to fall over the railing of a ship)
You think there's sharks? (confused. questioning why someone in the water is freaking out

Male. One of the oldest in the group. Grizzled and hardened. He does whatever it takes to get shit done. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Middle Aged.
A bloody whale? Even if we had hit a whale, how could it have put a ding in the side of a boat made of solid steel? Are you mad? (After hearing something slam into the side of the boat you are all on. Very incredulous to the suggestion that it was a whale since the dent made in the boat was even bigger)
Fuck me... (Said after seeing something horribly gruesome and fucked up.)
*Yelling and various sounds as if someone is wrestling with you, trying to stab you with a knife*

Male. A ladie's man. Always on the look out for someone to get with. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult to middle aged.
*crying and yelling out in horror as someone you were with was just had their head crushed in front of you while you remain pinned under their dead body alone*
Goddamn... (Said with tears streaming down your face. You are continually seeing fucked up things)
*sounds of you losing your sanity and trying to kill someone with a knife as they fight back*

Female. Uniquely girly for someone who's in a tough ass group like this. She can still kick your ass though. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult or middle aged.
There's no hope on the boat. There's no hope on the boat. There's no hope on the boat. (Said repetedly while staring vacantly. starting as a soft mutter and growing slightly in volume. Loud enough to get people's attention, but not full blown manic.)
Just jump and be free. (Said to your group with a slight smile. You're not in your right mind.)

Male. somewhat posh even though he rolls with a tough group like this. Definitely cares a lot about his friends. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult or middle aged.
Queenie? Queenie. Back away from the rail, please. We will be okay. (Trying to coax Queenie back from the edge of the ship since she looks like she's about to jump in)
AHHHHH! AHHHH! HELP ME! FOR FUCK'S SAKE HELP MEEEE! (you're being pulled into the ocean. Your screaming for your life, digging your nails into the deck as your dragged)

Male. A hardened sea captain aboard a cargo ship. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Middle aged to older.
What the bloody hell was that? (You saw something strange in the distance)
Calm your ass down. Best hope it wasn't a whale or those conservationist fuckers are going to harpoon us to the fuckin' walls. Now get back to your fuckin' post, you FLOB! (Ripping a new asshole for your second mate who just gave you some lip)

Male. Second mate of the cargo ship. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult or middle aged.
Oy! Captain! D'ya see that? (Getting the captains attention to look at something weird you saw)
A dolphin? With the way that bump felt, try a fuckin' whale. (The captain just tried to rationalize the weird thing you just saw and your very incredulous)

Male or female. Someone running from the chaos ensuing aboard the cargo ship. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult or middle aged or older.
Piss off! I need to get the fuck outta here! (trying to escape by jacking a lifeboat and not letting anyone on.)
*Various sounds of fear - crying, screaming, etc...*

Male or female. Floating on debris in the ocean. Accent can be from anywhere in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, or any regional dialect from the U.K. Young adult or middle aged or older.
There's something in the- (You've seen something terrifying in the water as you float on the debris, but you're cut off as you get pulled under.
*Sounds of panic while you try to unsuccessfully climb onto the debris even more.*
