Serenia Audio Roleplay
Project Overview
This is an original, multi-ethnic, interracial, group roleplay with its own fleshed out world & lore that I created in Discord myself. Every character in the roleplay will have a distinct voice. Audition for who you think is cool but if I cast; stay committed if possible.
What it is… is like a story book without every visual. Played out like chapters… but most lines that are said will always be improv as you keep talking in-character; once the roleplay begins & your character is introduced into the storyline.
Unless someone voices an NPC. Or a test voiceline (aka audition lines) made the cut into the project for certain characters.
As for what’s expected of people in the server… NO ONE is required to always be in a voice chat/video chat within Discord. Just be committed to seeing the roleplay through. Like a story, this will have arcs.
If ya need stretch/exercise breaks, got chores, work/school/need to leave the voice chat/video chat temporarily for a religious reason… or are headed to sleep… people still in the voice call will adapt. By continuing the story & find ways to weave you & your character back into the story when you return to the voice chat/video chat
‘Cause if you wanna voice a main character or side character, DM me on Discord directly is best. Let me know what type of character you wanna be, I’ll work with ya to find cool looks for him or her. Then you can tell me what faction u wanna join. I’ll create some sample voicelines & see what a girl or guy’s improv do.
Genres: military, slice of life, faction choices, action/adventure, romance/marriage, futuristic fantasy, dark fantasy, medieval & mystery.
In the semi-medieval (yet often humid) fantasy city of Serenia, there exists a medieval-designed fortress; with a sleek, modern interior manor close to a rainforest… located east of the city. To the north is an uninhabited beach. Given its humidity, ONLY casual outfits & vibin’ barefoot inside the fortress, manor, rainforest & platoon hideout are preferred.
A local fortress is actually a military academy is disguise; with it & a royal family that govern it with equal strength; for now.
There are also 2 other factions:
Wing Storm (humanoid dragons that live in a wealthy looking manor) & the Saber Platoon (an elite team of magic imbued swordsmen & women… 6 people in total; who trapped the dragons that created Serenia’s landscapes to gain dragon-elemental abilities).

(Not high-pitched. Warm, bubbly, soothing voice; sound excited) “Vibe barefoot, rock casual outfits, and be skin confident inside the fortress at all times. Heck yeah! I LOVE it so much! Literally part of who I am! (pause) Put on socks or not be skin confident inside the fortress; or in any Serenia building? Never in my life!”

“Been awhile since I’ve been in the center of this city. (pauses) (Thinking to self) Perhaps… I should take note of what has changed”.
“My fellow Blade Seals; it brings tears to my eyes… knowing that you still lack a proper King; to be here with your Queen. To be quite Frank, it does boad well (pauses) aesthetic-wise. (Cheerful; excited) On the bright side, I marvel at all 3 laws of the fortress. It is stellar! I quite like it here!”
![[Female] Queen of the Fierce Blade Seals (straight, she/her)](https://images.castingcall.club/ccc/CCC_Avatar_VA_HAT_ORANGE.svg){kind=avatar}
Voice Actor
Main character. Great at strategizing, fights with a Longsword & leads the Fierce Blade Seals faction. Follows the motto of the Fortress all the time! Love talkin’ about bein’ barefoot, vibe barefoot, rock casual outfits & have skin confidence in the fortress at all times! Tends to lead the Seals with a soothing, gentle presence. Hates elegant, overly formal clothes that never have skin confidence tho!
If guarding our fortress means other factions never know who we are until I meet them; so be it. Princess… no… my daughter; you must understand. I am still royalty. Your mission is to lead our seals on all the quests in or outside the city“.
“To join the Blade Seals means you don’t just follow; but you literally LOVE the fortress motto. (Excited & bubbly; but don’t scream) Love talking about being barefoot, vibe barefoot, rock casual outfits and be skin confident inside the fortress at ALL times!”
(sigh) “Looks like it’s another meeting in the Seren Library today. (pauses) I love chatting with the 3 Mage Sargents who lead the Mage Corps… but why do they have to keep crafting missions outside Serenia City? (Calm) I want the city to be peaceful. If it means I gotta sacrifice surrounding areas; then so be it”.
![[Female] NPC #4 Head Chef Chloe (straight, she/her)](https://images.castingcall.club/ccc/CCC_Avatar_VA_SPIKEY_ORANGE.svg){kind=avatar}

Voice Actor
Side character. Apprentice of the Abyss Saber Platoon Swordmaster. Is very friendly & actually loves people a lot! Make her mad & she becomes ruthless; and enjoys ending someone’s life.
“The remnant of Lune is with me. Don’t make me lose my cool. You won’t live to get a redemption arc”.

“I love people. You can literally become my ride or die best friend that I’ll deeply care for with all my heart… or the one who dies by my power. Choose wisely”.
Voice Actor
Side character that becomes a main character later on. LOVES every part of the fortress motto! She’s PROUD & BOLD about it!
“Never know how to feel about joining the Blade Seals; but turns out… I love it! The Commander is an awesome person to learn from”.
“Always love talking about being barefoot, vibe barefoot, rock casual outfits and be skin confident in the fortress all the time. I Love it so much! The leaders of the Mage Corps and the Seals are total legends for this”.
“My liege; why can’t the Seals learn the ancient art of longsword magic? If its part of Serenia history, it makes sense to be best friends with the Saber Platoon right?”**
Voice Actor
Side character that becomes a main character later on. Follows the casual outfit, skin confident, barefoot/bare soles vibe if the Saber Platoon; always. She’s proud of it too! Out of all the Platoon Members, she is the closest friend to Aaron… the Lightning Swordmaster.
(Soothing; reassuring) “Aaron… let me give you a long, warm hug. (pauses) (still soothing voice) I’m here. I’ll cuddle you awhile to relieve your stress. I know keeping the secret of the dragon’s power with the Platoon weighs on your mind a lot. Which is why our hideout is so hidden. You wanna see how Serenia changes; but not pass on your power to the wrong person. (Gives him another warm hug) Trust me; I feel the same way. I don’t wanna live without you either”.
“When the 6 Saber Platoon Masters unite to face any common enemy, you will not survive! All I can do… is prolong your suffering”.
“Each member of the Platoon just sealed away a dragon; not cause it to die. No wonder the 3 higher-ups in the Mage Corps don’t trust every Blade Seal”.**
Voice Actor
Main character. Loves to be barefoot, show her bare soles, rock casual outfits with skin confidence in the fortress all the time; without exception. She is Vince’s closest friend/advisor & has strong romantic feelings for him.
(Reassuring) “Master Sargent… don’t; worry. I’m… here. You always love how my warm hugs calm you. Remember… with you and the 3rd in command by my side, the Mage Corps only moves forward… to a brighter future”.
(sigh) “I don’t care how many times the new gal recruit needs to hear it from the 3 of us! She will abide by the motto ingrained into every Mage we bring in… from; day… one. Vibe barefoot, rock casual outfits and have skin confidence inside the fortress at all times”.
(Worries) “Vince; allow me to travel by your side. The 3rd Sargent can look after the fortress while you and I are away. We gotta meet up with the Blade Seal Princess and Seal Commander in the library for a briefing. (Bubbly. Calm) A rainforest, north Serenia region; or an ancient cavern mission is coming”.
![[Female] Sargent/3rd in Command of Mage Corps (straight, she/her)](https://images.castingcall.club/ccc/CCC_Avatar_VA_PONYTAIL_ORANGE.svg){kind=avatar}
Voice Actor
The letter “S” in Scero is silent. Her name is Makayla Paxson.
She LOVES all 4 parts of the Serenia fortress motto year round:
Love talkin’ about bein’ barefoot, vibe barefoot/bare soles, rock casual outfits & have skin confidence in the fortress all the time.
Makayla has very strong feelings for Vince, loves being adventurous & doing creative hobbies with him by her side & is very extroverted around him personality wise.
(Reassuring; like a very close gal that’s engaged to a guy) “It’s always great to be by your side; Master Sargent Scero. (soft spoken) Especially when we’re chillin’ barefoot and skin confident in that fortress together. It’s just so comfy! Lemme tell ya bestie; I ain’t ever gon’ get tired of it! (Reassuring) Ya know Vince; I’ve been thinkin’ ‘bout how both of us been workin’ hard to keep this fortress runnin’. (pauses) You could use a warm, 2-arm hug. Join me and cuddle; won’t ya”.
(Calm & focused) “With the 3 of us leadin’ the way, there ain’t nothin’ the Mage Corps can’t do!”
(Annoyed but stays calm; brief sigh) “Those half dragons got in our way again… seriously? I wish the mages could just go on a quest to take ‘em out; like right… now”.
![[Female] Wind Swordmaster (straight, she/her)](https://images.castingcall.club/ccc/CCC_Avatar_VA_SPIKEY_PURPLE.svg){kind=avatar}
Voice Actor
Side character.
Ethnicity: White
Age: mid 20s
Accent: 🇺🇸West Coast, South African OR Australian
Voice: Soft Spoken, confident, Soothing biological sister/best friend, Warm
Just like the Fire Seordmaster, this gal of air power is VERY close with the Lightning Swordmaster Aaron. She is his second confidant & safe space to let down his guard.
She LOVES bein’ barefoot/ bare soles AND wearin’ casual skin confident outfits; all the time! Inside Saber Platoon Hideout, outside on the Hideout’s premises & even in Serenia City too! Just like her brother Aaron
[Think: Crop tops + shorts
crop tops + leggings
baggy, short sleeve t-shirt + sweatpants]
Her hobbies [with Aaron] include: home barefoot duo-pose yoga in casual clothes & (without wearing a leotard), swimming, nature walks, creating new elemental magic attacks together (by each other’s side), sip coffee or tea, stargazing, exploring Serenia’s ancient caverns at dawn or night-time, eat at the local Serenia cafe, warm 2-arm hugs/cuddles, lower back/shoulder/ soles massages & chill conversations alone; that are like psychology therapy sessions to help each other.
(Serious but soft spoken; almost like a villain) “Keep moving citizen. You can’t understand our connection to Serenia; or why our home… is the rainforest. Either visit our lame Dragon apprentices; or explore the ancient caverns at your own risk”.
“When the 6 Saber Platoon Masters unite to face any common enemy, you will not survive! All I can do… is create a gale you won’t escape from”.
“Each member of the Platoon just sealed away a dragon; not cause it to die. Know this…(pauses): unlike our weak Dragon apprentices and the city’s Blade Seals; this Platoon is a literal family. Only me, the sword maiden of flames… and Lady Kestelle; can create the perfect blanket for my brother’s heart”.
