Sam and Fred's Infinite Wisdom, an animated sketch comedy series
Project Overview
Sam and Fred’s Infinite Wisdom
an Animated Sketch Comedy Series
About the Project:Sam and Fred’s Infinite Wisdom is a darkly absurd, animated sketch comedy series that blends high-concept stupidity with dialogical surrealism. Created and written by two Ivy League graduates, these sketches dive into a self-contained world of plausible setups that spiral into chaotic confusion or tense awkwardness—where a character behaves a little too confidently for just how wrong they are.
Think Always Sunny meets I Think You Should Leave. Early Adult Swim and crude Gen Z sketch energy with actual writing underneath.
We specialize in:
Crude, delusional characters who never back down
Absurd scenarios taken just a bit too seriously
Deadpan delivery, satire, and surreal escalation
Short, punchy sketches ranging from 2–6 minutes
We are currently a team of 4 (two writers, two animators) and are looking to expand with the help of some voice actors.
Voice Actor Details:We’re looking for comedic voice talent who can bring bizarre personalities to life with distinct voices, sharp timing, and an instinct for tone. Characters are often young adults and voices should reflect a corresponding casual, improv-y, but non-theatrical tone. We want these scenarios to feel real and plausible, not like Broadway meets the real world. The jokes in this series come from what is said more than how things are said, and we need selfless voice actors who let the lines shine, not their delivery. Characters may range from plain run-of-the-mill folk to overconfident idiots to manipulative elites to painfully agreeable weirdos.
Expect:
Roles with ironic or satirical dialogue
Politically incorrect speech
A blend of grounded reads and heightened cartoon absurdity
Strong emphasis on character contrast and escalation
We’re building a tight-knit crew and are especially interested in actors who enjoy collaboration, experimentation, and breaking comedic norms.
Requirements:tonal agility—a character's tone may switch on a dime
the ability to adjust in accordance with feedback
a willingness to say provocative/irreverent/inappropriate things
the ability disappear into the role, not stand in front of it
a good sense of comedic intuition

Red hair, ha, yea, used to. Hey will you excuse me for a sec, I gotta run to the bathroom?
And just in case you were thinking of letting him in to fuck that 8 year old, he’s also got a bomb. So you really shouldn’t let him in.
