What Ai-Chin (Asch) Chen is looking for

Independent projects, comedy and satire, student/short films, even ads and commercials as needed, and so on.


I can normally range between children, edgy teens, and middle-aged males, but I have done female voices (i.e. Jodie Benson/Chris Anthony impressions) in retail previously. I have my own portable setup and can easily record when I'm not occupied with other contracts, landlord issues, and/or part-time work.

I also produce demos for others to get started since I do have a background in creative/fiction/comedy/news writing and audio production.

    Ai-Chin did my demo reel production and was an astounding professional through the entire process. He gave me honest critique and feedback on each of the lines that he made for me (by my request) and was very patient as I worked through the process. Less than 3 hours after our session wrapped, I had a Demo Reel sample in my inbox, and a title card to go along with it shortly after. 

    Ai-Chin did this with almost no turnaround time and was a wellspring of good information to have. I 12/10 recommend him for any demo production for anyone looking to take their work seriously in this arena.

    Ai-Chin Chen is a fantastic actor, director, writer, editor and sound designer. I've worked with him on a few projects now where he has been the lead and each one of them has turned out amazing through his leadership.


    I have recently also worked with him to create my newest Character Demo and I must say he did an absolute fantastic job! He worked with me to get the most out of my voice, always listening to what I wanted, but pushing me just enough out of my comfort zone to create something truly wonderful that I'm exceedingly happy with.


    The turn around was tremendously quick (only a few days between the first meeting and finalised finished Demo) even with my incessant notes and retakes being dealt with super fast and with grace. He even held my hand during small bits of improv, something which I have much less experience, and I am very grateful for.


    If you're looking for someone to make you a Demo, I cannot recommend Ai-Chin Chen enough, he is exceedinly good at it.
