Saloon Simulator – Voice a Member of the Saloon Staff!
Project Overview
Hello everyone!
I’m xardi, and it’s great to see you again, Casting Call Club community. We’re continuing to develop our project, Saloon Simulator, and in an upcoming update we’re introducing hireable employees that players will be able to recruit for their saloon. I’d like to warmly invite you to take part in this casting call.
We’re planning to record all lines - which we’d like you to perform in your home studio - between December 22nd and January 5th. Please keep this timeframe in mind before submitting your audition.

In this role, you’ll be voicing two saloon employees. We’d like your audition to show that you can portray two distinct characters. Their voices don’t need to differ radically from your natural tone, but we want the player to feel that they are not performed by the same actor. We aim for realism, so please avoid anything overly exaggerated or caricatured.
In Saloon Simulator, you will voice two bartenders. The game is set in the Wild West, where the player manages a saloon, first alone, and later with your characters’ help. Since the player takes on the role of the boss, we want your delivery to convey respect and recognition toward the player’s character. Aim for a tone that feels professional but still full of personality.
The role includes around 170 short reaction lines to customer actions. Each line is very brief. In total, the role amounts to approximately 70–75 lines in a book format (calculated as 60 characters with spaces per line).

[to a customer after serving the wrong drink] It may not taste great, but I promise it packs a punch.
[to the boss] I’ll make sure everything gets done.
[to the boss, irritated] Boss? When are you finally gonna pay me?

[to themselves, after making a low-quality dish] Oops! I must’ve mixed up the ingredients.
[to the boss, after cooking a great dish] Not to brag, but I’m a damn good cook.
[to the boss, irritated] I’m not working because I’ve got nothing to cook with.

[to the boss] Boss - we’re missing the dish the customer asked for.
[to a customer]There you go. Let me know if you’re up for more later, okay?
[to the fighting customers] Could you maybe… not do that here?

[to the boss, after cleaning] Ahh, much better. A clean place just feels right.
[to themselves, about customers] Wiping your boots before coming in wouldn’t kill you, would it?!
[to the boss, irritated] Boss! I’m not working for free!
