Project Overview

General Project Info:

This is a fighting game about robots from different planets in our solar system hunting down an evil dude with a bounty on his head. It will be developed and published using the MUGEN Engine.

Requirements:
- Must have decent mic quality. It doesn't have to be perfect, but make sure any background noise is minimal.

- Must have a reliable means of communication. There will be consistent updates, so an easy way to get into contact with you will make the process run smoothly.

- Must have a PayPal or CashApp. These are the easiest apps to send you your payment.


Extra Info:

- This game will be free for everyone to play! But don't worry, you will still receive payment.

- Roles will be casted one at a time. Casting all roles at once would be overwhelming and ultimately inefficient.

- More character roles will arrive soon.

- This is a fighting game! Feel free to be as creative with the lines as you wish!

  • 2nd Casting Call

    The second round of characters have been set up, and we're ready to start the 2nd round of auditions for our new characters! Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find the precise voice we're looking for in Mayson, so she'll be getting a second go in this next round!   • Second Casting Call

    The casting call is now at its first end! But, don't worry. More roles will be open for auditioning later on. Upon looking at the literal hundreds of auditions, we've found quite a few that we like for certain characters. This,, however, is a bit of a problem, since we can only chose one actor per role. So! A second casting call will be held by the lead dev (MarsBars_VEVO)! This one will be private, however, so that we may test out different lines, so we can ultimately find out who will be the actor for which role. Some roles will remain open, since we haven't quite found the right voice for them yet.

    Less of an update, and more of a PSA. If you receive a Private Message from a user named MarsBars_VEVO, don't fret about it. I can confirm that he is the lead dev, and he just wants to drop by to critique your auditions. So don't worry!

20XX, moments before humans could travel amongst the stars, Jerry was created the first mechanical being that can think, feel, and act on his own accord. After the successful demonstration of Jerry capabilities, the US army (At the time) wanted to make a weaponized version of that very same Jerry unit.

Multiple models were made in order to fill in the criteria, but 9 times out of 10 it would fail horribly... 


then the year 2XXX came along and with it, more robots worth similar programming as Jerry and humanity can now travel to different planets commercially. During that time, The US army made significant progress with Project "AXEL", and decided to stick with a completely different body structure from jerry's original design. Since airborne and spaceborne travel was a big deal the team decided to implement a Versatile All-Perouse Aerodynamic Propulsion system (V.A.P.A.P. for short.)

To test this, they first conducted test flight on earth. This is when Axel first gained consciousness.

He's basically a bounty hunter on mars. He's very nonchalant and is usually pretty chill. He has no knowledge on how he gained his skills, but he adapts to them whenever he needs to.


For vocal range, go for something mid to high, a bit nasally/dorky.
