Trailer Done!
Didn't realize I had to post an update here. But trailer itself was posted with the 4 VAs! I will be posting new roles soon for the next wave of Cast Calls.
Here's the Trailer
Update as of 12/15/2023: All 4 roles have been casted, thank you for your submissions! For now no more VAs will be needed, but keep an eye out for any new casting calls in the future!
Distorted Sanctum is a project that originally had a demo released several months ago, but is however currently undergoing a complete remake so currently lacks footage in relation to this new version.
Details regarding the game
Distorted Sanctum is an RPG mainly focused on the story of many characters, their journeys, and how they impact their own life or others. The main focus however, is the conflict between this cast of characters, and Enzo.
Enzo plans to end the world in order to create a new one of his own, him and his army hope to fulfill this goal through any means necessary; he has a personal reasoning for why he and the others desire to fulfill this.
Trace and the others learn of this and upon discovery, make it their mission to stop Enzo from succeeding.
Details regarding the VA work
As of right now, I'm only looking for 4 VAs just to test the waters of this; I will hold sessions with you within a Discord Server Voice Chat or DM call. (the choice is yours) so while you're recording your lines, it's easier for me to give directions on how I would like certain lines to be spoken. These sessions will always be scheduled ahead of time as we will work together to find good times for each session.
If I do reach out to you and choose to cast you, you will be invited to a server that'll have all VAs gathered together in one place, in case I ever need to give large updates on anything or if you simply want to try and get to know your fellow VA workers (Although it's completely fine if you don't want to socialize with the others VAs and only want to be there for getting work done; socializing with the others isn't a required part of the job and I won't really give you flack for it. Just make sure to try and be kind to the other VAs at the very least.)
The Pay
Each session will have a set pay based on how complex the voicework is, and how long we agree to that session being. If you feel that the pay I offer upfront is unfair, then you're free to negotiate the pay of that session.
The payment range per session is $20/hr for Important Character Roles, and $10/hr for NPC roles. I'll always tell you upfront how many hours I want you there for that session, once the time has concluded, I'll let you know.
These sessions will typically only be 1-2 hours long each, If your lines for a session are completed early, you will receive the full intended pay as if you worked all those hours. However, if a session is ended abruptly because of something coming up, the pay will be placed on hold, and the time remaining for that session will be documented; session will resume whenever you're available again and will continue from the documented amount of time remaining. Once remaining time has concluded, you'll receive the total intended pay for the session.
Important Note Regarding Session Policy: The lines planned will always be shown ahead of time and for that session, you will only be tasked with voicing the lines given. I will agree to avoid giving you, "surprise lines" that are outside of the set of voicelines I tasked you with. Should that occur, you will receive an $5 per line I give you that's outside of what I tasked you with for that session. (This shouldn't occur but I am creating this extra clause in case it does)
Extra Note: If you are found to be too slow in regards to progress each session, you will be at risk of being let go. However, I will not do this outright, I will always discuss the matter with you first, so we can try to resolve the issue, make sure we're on the same page, etc.
You will be paid at the end of each session, and you may choose to withhold your voiceline files until payment is received. Said payment will always be as soon as a session has concluded.
MIc Quality
I expect your voice to be clear and easy to hear, and absent of background noise

Here's the Trailer
Main Party Leader
Trace is a mostly formal man who often is the one his friends depend on for orders on what to do in the midst of a battle.
He is quick thinking in battles and is stubborn when it comes to fleeing. He often speaks very formally even around his friends, and isn't typically very expressive; only ever becoming so when tensions are high or when feeling emotional.
Type of voice I'm mainly looking for is something that sounds a little bit on the serious side; as if they're a professional if that makes a little sense. Just have the pitch lean more onto the lower side but not super low
[Neutral] Well, doesn't seem like we'll find anything of value here.
[Agitated] I'm getting sick of this!
[Confused] Hey Lucy, where's Charlotte?
Story Party Member
Lucy is an archer with sharp aim. She is serious when necessary but other times she's usually more cheerful. She's best at coming up with strategies before scenarios that typically have good outcomes for her and the party.
For her, I'm mainly looking for a voice that's more on the cheerful side.
[Happy] Hey! Wait for me!
[Serious] I need you to follow my lead, if we're spotted then we're done for!
[Sad] Aww, I was hoping to get some extra rest in...
Story Party Member
Class: Brawler
Marcus is a caring person, typically looking out for others before himself; if others are in trouble then he'll drop what he's doing to help them first.
For him I'm mainly for a voice that's a bit on the calm side, but is also a little "rowdy" I guess? The pitch should be somewhere between high and low, but leans a little more into the low side of the pitch.
[Excited] Yeah! Go get 'em!
[Yelling and Surprised] Trace! Get out of the way!
[Calm but Curious] Did we... do it?
Story Party Member
Class: Mage
Charlotte is a carefree person who often does whatever she feels like doing. It's common for her to be found following Trace, Lucy, and Marcus as she often gets bored and decides she wants to join them in what they're up to; even if they don't initially notice that she's following them.
I am mainly looking for her voice to be more cheery and more on the higher end, but avoid going so high to the point of her sounding like a child. I want this to sound like an adult's voice, just on the higher end of that voice type.
[Excited and speaking a little quick] Hi! What are you guys up to? Doing anything interesting today?
[Serious and Sad] So why stand around here and waste time like this? Don't you want to do something meaningful?
[Happy and Teasing] Ha! Did you think you were winning that one?
