Reflections is a dark fantasy series following the life of Nettle, a kit who dreams of becoming a great leader like both her mothers. But as cats start to go missing, Nettle finds out a dark secret that could change her heart, and the rest of the Colony forever...

General Requirements
You must be 18+ to apply for a role. This is because we hope to monetise the series, and share anything made between team members.
You must have a discord account, this is how we will contact you and communicate via the Team Server.
These positions are voluntary, with any money made from the project being split between all who contribute. It is unlikely there will be much money (if any) made from this project.
Any leaks of content without the directors permission will result in you being removed from the project. If you want to share something, please ask. We are more than happy for you to share content as long as it doesn’t contain spoilers, but we would rather you ask just in case.
By joining the team, you are agreeing to have your work used for the series. You will be expected to complete work on a schedule and give weekly updates on your progress once we start moving more quickly. (We are very flexible and completely understand delays, we understand our team is made up of volunteers and are doing this for fun) You are free to leave the project at any time, but we do ask you to let us know prior to leaving the discord.
To apply, please fill out the form below. You will be given multiple options on the form, so feel free to apply for as many roles as you’d like. You do not have to accept any roles you have applied for if you’ve changed your mind.

The Casting CallReflections is an animatic style series, with limited animation and mostly tweening. Our audience demographic is 13+. We are looking for 6 voice actors to help bring our characters to life! Two of these roles will be lead characters who appear frequently in the series. We are casting for Episode one, so all characters seen here feature in the first episode, and possibly the trailer too.
Please make sure you give these points a read before auditioning.
General
You must be 18 or over to audition for these roles. If you are cast and we discover you are under the age of 18, you will be removed from the project.
If you are 17 right now and turn 18 before the deadline, you are welcome to audition.
Deadlines
The deadline for auditions will be 12.00am PST 20th November. After that, we will not be accepting any more auditions and will start contacting potential cast members.
Auditions
We will only accept auditions through this casting call club page. Please do not message any Polaris Studio members directly to submit your auditions.
Please do not add any effects to your lines. This includes clean-up.
Please make sure you use a clear mic. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but we need clean audio. (Minor background can be edited away by us afterwards)
If you wish to audition for a character and aren';t the same identity, that's okay! We have a lot of roles to fill and are scouting for future characters using this call too.
We have just released our first full video, Reflections ESTRANGER meme which was made by a total of 8 of our wonderful team members. Currently we are working on the trailer for the series, and Episode one.
All episodes and extra content will be uploaded onto our youtube channel. We aim to do monthly update videos as well as occasional teasers on our social media.
Drizzle is a cool and calm Colony cat. Though unsure of where her path might lead, she's happy enough to go with the flow. But don't mistake her attitude to life as laziness, as she is far from that. She is very loyal to her friends, family, and The Colony. Her flowers are Sunflowers.
She is MTF, and because of this would like to cast a trans actor to play her.
Please note: Drizzle starts as a teenager, and then as the series progresses becomes a young adult. Please do these lines twice, once as a teenager and once as a young adult.
(Nonchalantly) I don't know where I came from. My Dad's found me outside of the Colony when I was just a kit. Sort of similar story to you I guess.
[Whispering in the den as someone starts to leave] (Playful yet a tad suspicious) Hey! Where ya sneaking off to? It's the middle of the night...
(Angered and disgusted, very unlike her) I can't even look at you- knowing what you've done- Do you even care about any of this? They're all dead because of you!
Lightning is an athletic and ambitious sam. They want nothing more than to be a Dawn Watcher, and love the idea of racing around the tree tops, hunting and scouting. They always seem to see the good in others, and are considered a polar opposite to their sister Nettle. Their flowers are Chamomile.
Lightning is non-binary, and because of this would like to cast a non-binary actor to play them.
Please note: Lightning starts as a teenager, and then as the series progresses becomes a young adult. Please do these lines twice, once as a teenager and once as a young adult.
(Cocky) I bet i can climb that tree fast than you!
[Trying to be reassuring, talking to a family member] (Reassuring and warm) I'll always be there for you, you know that right? Just because we don't see each other as much, doesn't mean I love you any less.
[Calling for their sister in the forest, they are looking for her] (Concerned and loud) Nettle- Nettle? Where are you?
Splinter is the snappy and fierce leader of the Dawn Watch. Once a lot more accepting, after recent events she has become suspicious of outsiders, and is incredibly protective of the Colony. If she had it her way, their borders would be closed for good. Her flowers are Borage.
We imagine Splinter with a well spoken English accent, though we are not tied down to this and look forward to hearing other possible variations.
(Suspicious) And where do you think you're going?
(Angered, disbelief) How can you just sit there and act as if nothing has happened! Your mate is dead, and my children are missing!
Smoke. Be a dear and escort this- Heretic- out of our territory.
Frost is the Cypher of the Dawn Watch. He originally trained as a healer, and inspired his younger sister, Bumble Bee, to become one too. He depends heavily on his littermate Pine, and wouldn't be the cat he is without her. As a Cypher, he possesses other world abilities. He has the power of Psychometry. His flowers are Snow Drops.
He is FTM, and because of this would like to cast a trans actor to play him.
(Encouraging, soft) Hey, you just need a little practice is all. Give it a few months and you'll be better than me!
(Cautious, agitated) We should stick to the tree line. That storm is nearing and I'd rather not get drenched again.
(Concerned yet curious. Hushed voice) Do you think it has anything to do with Flight's disappearance?
Pine is a Guardian from the Colony. Her role involves guiding and encouraging young cats, and helping them discover what they want to do in life. She watches over kits who are too old to be in the nursery, and too young to become Pupils. She is kind hearted, and very new to her role as a Guardian. She is a young adult. Her plants are Pine Needles.
She is MTF, and because of this would like to cast a trans actor to play her.
(Light scolding) Careful! You know you're not supposed to stray that far off on your own.
(Soft) I'm not here to tell you want to do, I'm just here to help you figure it out. Think of me more as a guide than a tutor.
(Impressed) I think she's ready Frost. I know she has just as much potential as you, if not more.
Apple is the twin brother of Bee. He is an excitable and bouncy kit who wants to become a keeper. He is friendly and trusting, and probably a little too gullible for his own good. His flowers are Apple Blossoms.
(Excited) I can't believe we're going to pick our flowers today!!
(Sick but still bright) Don't worry about me- (coughs) I'll be alright.
(Pleading, very sweet) Please can you take us with you? Please please please?!
