Red Strings Club [Dubbed]

~ROUND 2 IS OPEN~

Currently cast characters were cast prior to opening casting call. The remaining roles will be cast only on deadline, not before deadline.


Yo ... You ever heard of the Red Strings Club?

If not, grab a drink, find a nice bar/jazz lounge and have a seemingly non-binary android come fumbling into the establishment at the fine hour of 'closing-time' and you've basically lived the prologue.

but yeah, let's dub a tribute to it!

I'm looking for VAs
-Without much BG noise, pops, peaking and echoes in recordings.
-People who are friendly and enjoy acting.
-Natural styles of voice acting (close to your own voice if possible or a free flowing speech tone)



[note: As there are infrequent adult themes in this game you can safely audition without fear because I will message you prior to an official casting and send you a video of what your role will entail with an outline of themes, at this point you can withdraw your choice to participate in the dub and another audition will be given the same option before cast :)  ]

    So many fantastic, fantastic auditions!! I really appreciate the love this casting call got, everyone who auditioned could easily have landed a role and this was a very difficult casting call to cast for. I hope the audition process was fun if you need any direct feedback just message and I'll shoot forward tips and tricks to help improve if not thank you kindly!!! I will be in touch with those cast soon. P.S sorry I didn't get around to all the auditions with a comment of feedback this round but there was something positive to be said about each one!     Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned! All of the auditions were amazing! I have cast the members who were needed in the first video. Casting will continue at a later date upon completion of that video. To update on uncast characters thus far. I haven't quite found what I'm looking for just yet for the exact characterisation, people are free to re-audition when the casting call re-opens, I will leave a more detailed description of the characters that might help match up to desired characterisation :) Thank you for giving your time to this casting call and hope you all have fun auditioning for lots of projects!! Brandeis seems like quite a slick character who enjoys playing piano at the red strings club, he is one of the main leads in the narrative and needs a relaxed, charming and somewhat gruff voice.

'''She's''' technically an android. She can be played by a male or female but the male would require quite an unusual (perhaps feminine) voice. It's difficult to gauge her gender though it seems closer to female.  You are also welcome to use effects for her voice but subtle ones are preferred because most customers believe she's human.

  • I don't see any difference between my tablet and your concoction, are they not both means to ascertain an answer? 

  • I detect a client approaching, am I permitted to greet her without knowing her name?

Gost is not quite human and certainly very little is unveiled about him but Akara fears him and Donovan becomes very uneasy in his presence.  He needs a commanding but calm/subtly dark voice..

This is a minor role, she meets an untimely end but seems like a chirpy and energetic hacker who discovered an unfortunate secret. She should sound youthful for an adult and be quite chirpy.


You will not have many lines aside from one key scene

Diana is laid back charming lead exec for a corrupt company and an old friend of the leads. She is the first to be questioned by the protagonist and she has a mutual respect for RSC. She needs a calm relaxed voice that's feminine but somewhat strong. 

  • Well I can't tell if it's the drinks or the charms but somethings working, so keep it coming old friend and don't let me be caught by your main man tonight.

  • Ok, I'll share the intel if you're ok with it.  But seriously don't let this get out, if it comes back to me that you leaked this information, my name will be added to that death toll.

This is for two roles that are quite small and may remain so until much later in the game.

Vega is a female young adult who dresses with an edgy appeal [think punk].

QuinBing is a masked youth (teen) female or male, not sure but it seems pretty down to earth and chilled out.

No specific voice is required for either as their extras.

  • Vega: So Social Psych Welfare basically is modding humanity as we know it?

  • Quinbing: Well, here goes nothing. Ariadne give me your wits to protect myself from our enemies.

  • Line for both:  Good. Well I suppose we should send her on her way...

[Age/language warning]
This 30 year old female is a whirlwind of emotion. She is a healthy person but shows rapid mood changes. Think of a happy go lucky and flirty party animal that sometimes becomes overwhelmingly sad/troubled.

You don't have to curse in this role but you will be censored where your script shows you're meant to be cursing. Please be alright with that if you audition :)

  • [Wild/Euphoric] "HOLY CRAP! I FEEL AMAZING, WHAT A DRINK!!"

  • [Sad] "Why do you have to serve this? It totally killed the mood. and here I thought you were a real charmer...

Think an energised but educated voice of a young adult.

  • I'm a psychologist of a different kind. We spent ages fighting mental illness and combat it with failures many times and see that as ok., but when an android claims to have the capacity to alter our emotions to rid us of depression, it's terrifying and 'a'normal.'.. How humanely hypocritical.

This is a very unusual character, he's technically a.... torturer. But he never does anything too extreme in his role, he does play Russian roulette with the M.C. As one does for a bit of fun at a bar? Right? Full creative freedom with his voice.
