Purrfect Apawcalypse Fandub [Act 1: Love at Furst Bite]
Project Overview
Death is inevitable. That's what everyone says nowadays. Everyday you worry about dying, when you're out on the road, when you're at home, when you're cooking, it's always the same. So when a demon kills everyone you love dearly, and forces you to hide in a closet until it's gone, what do you do? You try to find the nearest dog that's alive, compliment them, shower them with treats, and die together. That's what this game is about. You're Olive, a small puppy who has no chance of surviving the apocalypse, so in response, you try and spend it with that special someone. So far, you got three choices, Brownie, the snack loving corgi, Sparky, the sporty husky, and Patches, the bookworm and totally not insane dalmatian. You wanna go with all of them, but little do you know, there are some cats around that want to kill you for no reason at all, and suddenly you're thrust into a murder mystery of betrayal. How will it turn out for you? Will you survive, or will you die? Can you get that special someone in your life? Well, I'm not the one to judge.
First things first:
- This is an unofficial fandub of the game by 90% Studios. We are not affiliated with them in any way possible.
- You must have a Discord is required in order to communicate with others in the project.
- A clear mic with little to no background noise is preferred. Please avoid any peaks or pops.
- This is a for-fun passion project and is not monetized.
- Don't audition if you are not comfortable with gore, blood, disturbing imagery, and some flashing lights.
- There are no canon voices. It's entirely up to you to create a voice, although some roles have suggestions on what they should sound like.
- There is major spoilers within this casting call; it is highly recommended that you play the games before auditioning, but you don't need to. Proceed with caution though!

Olive is socially awkward, easily flustered (especially by innuendos) and speaks with a stutter that is exacerbated by their emotional state. In spite of their social anxiety, they often try to lighten the mood with harmless jokes and puns. They constantly second guess their own actions and are very much a puppy-pleaser. By the way, the character is nonbinary, for reasons unknown, but due to her anxious and cute behavior, I'd like to think of her as a girl.
The voice should sound like cute and soft, kind of like Tohru from Miss Kobayshi's Dragon Maid.

(joyful) I think the only way the end could be sweeter is if I could spend it with that special someone!
(sad) The gym's full of handsome dogs, who were probably all really nice and talented, but they're all dead...
(whispering) W-why Patches... I thought you were n-nice.
Brownie is an exuberant jokester who makes friends easily and is immediately attracted to anyone who's super fun, cool, and unabashedly full of themselves. She often offends sensitive people and only occasionally puts in the effort to be more tactful. In spite of her impulsiveness, she's somewhat of a voice of reason for her friends, prioritizing action over feelings. Brownie is capable of being sensitive especially when it comes to things like crushes and romance.
The voice should sound something like Anne Boonchuy from Amphibia, funny, kind, and courageous.

(happy) Oh my GOD, well if she had JUST ASKED, maybe she wouldn't be stuck on the pooper till she flippin' DIED! AHAHAHAHA!
(angry) Don't make fun of us! How did YOU manage to survive? Hiding under dead bodies like some kinda freak?
(serious) They said they were looking for someone! They probably want them dead even if it means slaughtering the entire school, which um, kind of includes us???
Sparky is one of those people who loves sports. He's always seems tough at first, but in reality, he's just a big softie who wants to protect everyone that seems kind. He also has a hockey stick for defense, just in case the ghosts want to kill him.
I have no idea what this voice should sound like, but he should have a gruff yet upbeat voice for the character.
(neutral) I'm Sparky! I've been trying to find a way to fight these demons all day! Who'd have thought the key was water.
(cheerful) Here's an idea. There's some exposed water piping near the basement. Maybe we can flood the school and ward off the demons!
(hopeful) Don't worry Olive, I'm pretty sure it's another survivor! Ghosts don't really have footsteps.
Patches is introduced as a charming and polite dalmatian. He seems to care about others but his facade cracks whenever people fail to be taken in by his charm. His true personality is one that is vengeful, spiteful, lonely and violent. He takes whatever love he can get and lashes out at anyone who fails to serve him. While much of the cast views Patches as a simple sociopathic murderer, there is reasoning behind his actions. He is incredibly lonely and overcompensates for his lack of self respect by being toxically defensive. He also used to be Angel's boyfriend, before he killed him in rage.
The voice should like Kevin Michael Richardson's performance as the Joker, both deep and psychotic.

(friendly) Hello puppies!
(curious) Excuse me? I think I'm just fine here in the library. How did you all manage to survive?
(chaotic) Olive, no one is getting out of here alive. So let's make the most of the time we have together!
Coco is a loud and angry cat. She takes her work very seriously and is so goal oriented that she can forget things like friends or morals. Stress fuels her but too much of it can cause her to break down. She's also on the hunt for her brother, Angel, and will do anything to get revenge on the one who killed him, even though it means killing everyone.
The voice should sound like Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, really angry, sarcastic, and loud.

(annoyed) Oh my Dog you'd think we'd have found that punk by now. Whatever, there should be chalk in the classroom I can use to redraw this STUPID circle.
(neutral) I-I'm looking for the murderer of my little brother. I've been searching for weeks and I found out this is the high school they go to.
(poigant) I'm sorry about this, I just need to make sure you do a good job. If you don't bring Patches back here or if you die before you can, these two will die as well.
Angel Grimalkin is a quiet and shy cat. He speaks slowly and deliberately and typically keeps to himself. He is also the little brother of Coco.
The voice should resemble Gaara from Naruto, very monotone and shy, but at times, when angry, very gruff and menacing.

(monotone) We need to move the circle...
(enraged) You brought him...and he killed Coco... THIS IS YOUR FAULT.
(menacing) If you eat like that, you'll end up like me... Soft and vulnerable enough for someone to murder you.
You'll be matching up the audio files with the dialogue shown in the game. You also need to do some touch-up work with the files, plus split them into smaller ones. I'll also be helping you on what to do.
