Hello! I'm starting a new Webtoon project (as I haven't done enough lol) and I will be dubbing the new Webtoon series Purple Hyacinth. It follows the story of a young female officer named Lauren Sinclair. She has the ability to detect lies making it a powerful gift to help the defenseless... even if that means teaming up with an assassin.
This is a NON-PROFIT dub. I have already asked permission from the artist to dub this comic and hoping to have this project out by this year.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Have good mic quality, with minimal background noise.
2) Must portray emotion
3) You should have a discord
- Send in lines on time. If for some reason you can't send in lines by the deadline then please contact me as soon as possible.
- As of right now the comic was just released so there isn't a lot characters. However, by the time there are more episodes and more characters have been introduced I will definitely hold more auditions, so don't be upset if you didn't get the part, but as of right now I'm just auditioning the main cast (with the exception of some extras).
- NO bullying. If there are any signs of bullying or drama you will be immediately removed from the cast.
I suggest reading the comic to get a better sense of the characters that you might be interested in auditioning for.
QUICK NOTE BEFORE AUDITIONING: When you audition for these characters, for each line do one take in a American accent, and one take in a British accent. This way as the director, I can have an idea on who is going to have a British accent and who is going to have an American accent.

Lauren's intelligent, and has an air of sophistication, is social and humorous, but often hides her emotions from her colleagues, she can act really rashly and naively
VOICE TYPE: Medium/MId-high mature sounding
(voice gradually gets louder until the last line) Which is it? Which wire?! TALK NOW?! Tell me how to defuse the bomb or I swear to god i will-
(sassy and basically roasting Mr. Evans) You're right... You really shouldn't waste time on me. Maybe use it to help your company out for real this time.
I see. Then you're right about one thing, I don't intend to kill you tonight. I need you alive so I can force everything you know about the "Phantom Scythe" out of you before you go rot in jail where you belong. So where's your leader? (determined and interrogative)
Willam is the Lieutenant of the Ardhalis Police Department. He knows how to control the situation, and thinks about the consequences before he acts upon it (which is like the opposite of Lauren's character). However, he can be a bit hotheaded and make rash decisions for Lauren because he cares and he is protective of her.
VOICE TYPE: Low/Medium-high smooth voice
(reassuring) Miss! Please try to stay calm, you're safe now.. You did the right thing, calling us right away. Can you tell us what happened? Where is Ms. Grayson?
(Alarmed after hearing a gunshot) Shit. Miss, get inside and stay away from any windows! Detective March, please protect the witness! Lauren, Kym- with me!!!
Nobody knows the area better than we do. If the culprit is still somewhere around here, we have the best chance of finding him-
Kym is the sergeant of the Ardhalis Police Department. She is more of the energetic type out of the who cast, but has her serious moments. She is also close with Lauren as well.
VOICE TYPE: Mid/Medium-high voice
(gets Lauren's attention through a window) Aayee!! Laurennn!! It's me!
(making a joke of the situation) Oh, no! Surely he's just sleeping! Can't you seem he's trying to charm you with how "drop-dead" gorgeous he is?
(tries to catch up to Lauren knowing that she can be in danger) Lauren! I have to stop her! She'll get killed!!
PH is a witty assassin who ends up convincing Lauren to team up with him because they both have lost people that they care about. (All the audition lines are all on the same episode and so in this chapter you have act sly, witty, and threatening at the end.)
VOICE TYPE: Low/mid voice

You were right about one thing though, officer. WE are monsters. I kill without hesitation, and i have NO regrets. Rest assured that I wouldn't hesitate to slit your pretty little throat, if you ever become a nuisance.
Krist is a phantom scythe who tried to bomb one of the towns in Ardhalis.

A man who ends up being Lauren's date. Acts like a arrogant jerk.
