Project Sekai EN Covers – The Studio Sekai
Project Overview
[Please read full description before auditioning, as it contains vital information for the auditioning process. Please direct questions to illulamati#2315 on discord, not the project chat.]
The Studio Sekai is a Project Sekai cover group dedicated to creating an english cover of each of Project Sekai's commissioned songs. The project will not cover Sekai's cover songs, or otherwise dub any other aspect of the game.
The project's mascot character is the Miku of the Studio Sekai. Dressed in casual, comfortable orange producer-like clothing with a pair of ribboned headphones, she runs a Sekai unlike any other, which focuses on covering pre-existing songs, and invites a much larger group than the standard four. She has an incredibly passionate, empathetic personality, and works very hard to help the visitors to the Studio Sekai.
- All cast members are required to have a discord account, as the majority of work will be done across discord. There is no obligation, however, to speak to the rest of the cast. All auditions are to have a discord handle attached.
- Auditions are preferred with no instrumental, so that the voice can be heard as clearly as possible.
- Only those fourteen years old and over are permitted to audition.
- No specific equipment is recquired as long as the audio sounds clean without disturbing background noise.
- You can audition for as many roles as you want. Any one person is unlikely to get more than two roles, mostly as a precaution against overworking.
- Please state in your audition whether you are happy to be an understudy. Understudies will be added to the discord server, and will fill in for a cast member who leaves, whether temporarily or permanently. Please keep in mind that being an understudy doesn't guarantee actually getting to sing, but everyone who is okay with it will be an understudy.
- You are not required to 'sound like' the character. This also means that people with feminine voices can audition for male roles, and vice versa.

The Final Stretch
As of this update, there is less than ten days (!!!) until the audition period ends.
I'm beyond thankful for the HUGE amount of auditions, but unfortunately there are still quite a few roles with no or only one audition. Please, if you can, consider auditioning for the less popular roles, or sharing the link with people who may be interested in those roles.
