My name is Renara Hawke, I am a full-time VA and Audio drama producer, and I am looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to help me with an original sci-fi audio drama over on YouTube.
Premise:
OUTPOST is an action sci-fi that takes place a long way from Earth or any comforts of home, there are dangers out there...is mankind up to the task of stopping them? Join Trooper Pike and others on a distant human outpost, but this quiet deployment is about to get very interesting and very dangerous!
Episodes 1 and 2 are currently out now in the video above, this will allow you to get the feel of the audio drama so far.
Now because of the nature of this project, I will be auditioning on a chapter-by-chapter basis, turn around and deadlines for audio will be tight and may require you to stay on the project long term. please ensure you understand this before proceeding to audition.
The AI Art issue:
I want to make this very clear, I DO NOT want to use AI art, I do not like it and it can never truly represent what I wanted for this audio drama, I hate that I've used it for the first 2 episodes.
I want to rectify this. So please, 2D artist, let's make some magic happen!
Auditions info:
. This is NOT a paid project, I cannot afford to pay anything at this stage so I hope you can be understanding.
. 2-3 takes of each line will suffice, I like to see variety in an audition as It helps me get a good idea of an actor’s range.
. No more the 3 takes of each line please.
. There is no limit on how many roles you wish to apply for, I welcome people auditioning for multiple roles.
Rules:
1.) XLR/good quality microphone and set up please OR have access to a studio or external recording centre.
2.) No background noise or peaking! All audio must be clear and understandable.
3.) If you are given a returning character (RC), this means you will be asked to come back for later parts of the project, this may be weeks, months, or years apart depending on how this project develops.
Please make sure you understand this when you are auditioning, and that you will be just as enthusiastic as you were when you first joined.
4.) You MUST have Discord, if you are successful in your audition I will be adding you to the project server where finer details about the project and characters will be discussed.

5.) To ensure trust and security upfront, each VA and Artist will have individual agreements, with myself, signed to safeguard their voice against being used for AI art and Ai voice training. Together we can fight against Ai erasing our careers!
6.) Not a requirement, but if you have one: Please ensure you have a Demo reel available on your profile when auditioning. I would like to see your full wheelhouse to get an idea of what you can do in the interest of building a roster of reliable VA's I can approach.
DO NOT AUDITION WITH JUST YOUR DEMO! - you will not be considered if you do this.

I'm looking for 2D artists who can take the visions I have for the scenes and bring them to life. We want to create a whole immersive audio drama experience and art is a big part of that, and so the art will help guide the watching to imagine everything as they hear.
So to be clear, this is primarily conceptual background art with the occasional specific scene required.
Character will be present in the scenes but I'm not looking for specifically character artists.
Turn arounds may be quite quick on this project so please keep that in mind.

Revenants are bipedal wolf humanoids, they have canine features such as fangs and longer jaws, but are smooth and mostly hairless. Their nails are replaced with Claws at the ends of un-proportionally large strong hands. They are BIG (6ft8) and take sure-footed strides, moving their arms like they are weapons.
These things are partially undead and reek! Both of darkness and stink. They emanate a pure, dangerous and bestial presence, everyone is fearful in their presence because if they are around, you will not survive.
They crave blood, flesh and the thrill of the brutal kill.
They are highly intelligent, genetically engineered, slaughter machines.
VOICE NOTES:
The Violent Revenant speaks with confidence and aggression, speaking is only a distraction between now and the next fight.
(Feral, pent up, eager to hunt) - "*Guttural growl*. To the hells with your caution! I can rrriiippp that machine limb from limb!"
(Goading) - "That female is the one that took your eye? She's tiny!"
(Incredulous) - "That's cuz he's a machine!"

The Cautious Revenant while still a terrible monster and a mighty killer is more reserved and cunning than others, their voice should be sharp and cutting like they know something others don't.
(Focused, eyes sharp, analysing) - "Brain dead or not, those cannons will still rip us apart if we are spotted."
(Perturbed, snarled) - "That male smells...Wrong."
(Irritated) - "No not (interrupted) that..."
