Project Overview
🌏In an alternate universe to ours, we are witnessing the stories of multiple high schoolers, starting with a disguised devil not being able to fit in the human world. As the story progresses, the friendships between two gangs, rivals at first, continues to strengthen through the love they have for each other

Notes:
-this is a long term project, so expect me to bother you a lot if you’re selected:3. I’m a very slow animator so it will take a while (the project will probably have 8 seasons with 8 episodes each so… yeah… I’ll be getting stage 54 burnout🥰), but since I’m slow I obviously won’t be expecting much from you, just communication. I’m gonna give very big deadlines for each line so that you can record whenever you’re free, without stressing
-beginners welcome! I’m also a beginner at.. everything.. and I have no idea what I’m doing.. so.. if you’re a beginner you’re encouraged to apply:3
-13+, we will be using discord once I’ve selected everyone so we can not only communicate more efficiently, but also meet the rest of the cast and have fun!
-I think it'd be best if I started assigning on the 1st of december so I can give everyone a chance instead of doing "first come first serve" to the first submission I like
-if you don’t have a mic, the phone works too. You can record your audio in bandlab and press on “denoise” on your track so that the bg noise is diminished

ALL main characters MIGHT need to sing. Don’t worry, I can teach you.. I’m not the best singer or the best teacher, but anyone can sing, so there’s no excuse. It’s just your limiting belief:3 (if we REALLY can’t figure out a solution, then I’ll do the singing.. except I’d need the guys to figure it out since I can’t sing for the guy characters:,3)

Lucy is a disguised devil in the human world to hide from.. someone. She’s shy and insecure at first, but gets more comfortable/confident when she’s around friends. Oh and when she’s angry she forgets she’s shy🥰

Alex is a very chill person, but doesn’t hesitate when his friends (or anyone else) is bullied and stands up for everyone. His voice is calm and friendly, and even when he takes his friends’ side he’s calm

He’s is literally inspired by Tails from Sonic the hedgehog, so take him as a voice reference, maybe a bit higher pitched, less breathy and less exaggerated.

If you couldn’t tell already, James is a nerd who scores 100 on every test. He often doesn’t have time for hobbies because he has to prepare for tests as soon as the school year starts (he probably thinks studying is a hobby). He’s shy, can’t stand up for himself and would rather lock himself in the school’s library than ever having to make eye contact with another person again. If you’re a shy/anxious guy, this role is perfect for you:3

Gabriel is one of the 6 bullies in the series. He’s the leader of his “gang”, and they love bullying other people. Even though he’s a jerk to others, he cares about his friends and is loyal.

Maddie is a brat (at first). She has a high pitched (but not too high) annoying bratty voice. However, she’ll mostly be genuine after ep 1-2. She’s loyal to her friends, but mostly Gabriel
You can also apply for the other 2 brats, but note they aren’t the main cast so won’t be needed much. They appear in the first couple episodes from the first season, then they’re “forgotten”, but might be brought back in a later season

Besides Maddie, there’s 2 other brats that have a similar voice, both bratty and annoying, so I decided to put them both in the same role. If you audition and have a preference mention it in the comments (brat #1 is left, brat #2 is right)
Note that they will mostly be relevant in ep 1-2, and may or may not appear in the following seasons. I’m gonna try and keep them alive so that the main cast interacts with them more often, but I don’t think it’s gonna be much, that’s why I can’t figure out if they’re side or bg characters
