This is a casting call from Odd Nation Cartoons, the independent studio behind the animated reality competition series Disventure Camp. We are currently opening auditions for 15 characters for our upcoming project ''Disventure Camp Season 6''.
Please read every character description in full before you audition. There are a lot of roles here, and the details matter, some roles are written specifically for trans actors, some for actors of color.
The character descriptions are intentionally somewhat vague, as we don't want to reveal too much about the characters or the story at this stage. The dialogue provided is meant to give you a general sense of each character's personality and voice. These lines are placeholders and will not appear in the final show.
Deadline: The deadline for auditions is Sunday, September 27th. We currently have no plans to extend it, so please get your takes in before then.
We build our show with a small, passionate team, and the voices are a huge part of what makes them feel alive. If any of these characters speak to you, we would love to hear what you bring to them. Have fun with it, and good luck!
ABOUT REQUIREMENTS AND PAYMENT:
These roles require signing an NDA.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Payoneer and Paypal are the only available payment methods.
For all roles, compensation ranges from $30 to $200 USD for the complete project, depending on the number of episodes each character appears in and the number of lines they have per episode. The entire season will be recorded over the span of one month. We understand that these rates may be lower than what some voice actors are accustomed to. As an independent studio, this is what we are currently able to offer for the project, and we want to be transparent about that from the beginning.
However, if you are selected, your character will also have the opportunity to participate in animated character greetings created by our team and requested by clients. Each greeting pays $30 USD for approximately 30 seconds of recorded audio. Greetings are an ongoing opportunity with no set end date. Once a character's greeting becomes available, they can continue receiving requests, and we typically receive multiple greeting orders per month. The number of requests can vary depending on the popularity and demand for each character, so more popular characters may receive more greeting opportunities.
We required a good quality microphone, we'll consider that the same microphone you're using for your audition is the one you'll use for the show.

We are looking for a music composer/songwriter to create original songs for our project. The selected composer will be responsible for writing and composing both the lyrics and the musical arrangement, using a creative guide provided by our team. This may include references for the song's mood, genre, character, story context, and overall direction.
