Shion is a kind and gentle teen, but generally naive and idealistic
person. He has an amazing IQ level, proven by his acceptance into the
Special Course and ability to treat and stitch up the bullet wound in
Nezumi's arm at age twelve. His most prominent trait being his inquisitiveness and his fascination of life by Nezumis side. He speaks evenly and calmly with the occasional hitch of excitement (please keep in mind that he is not a theatrical character like Nezumi!). Lastly, please read the cursive thought-lines as well as the marked lines. Good Luck!

Safu is straightforward, she says what she feels like saying when she
wants to. If someone wants to pick a fight, she doesn't hesitate to
fight back. Much like Shion at the start of the series, she seems to be (though
to a lesser degree) unable to express herself in a sense that would be
like 'normal' people. She is extremely blunt and matter of fact.
She is also one of No. 6s smartest elites and was like Shion raised according to a strict curriculum.
Beyond that she is an affectionate girl that cares a lot for the one she loves. Good Luck!

Mr. Fura is a smart, wealthy and high ranking official who was caught and pressed for information by Shion and Nezumi while he visited Lost Town for a night. Mr. Fura is a sheltered 'petri-dish elite' (as Nezumi likes to refer to them) that has a problem with disobeying No. 6 to the extend of not questioning or imagining the city differently at all. Good Luck!

Karan has a very warm and caring personality. She stays behind in No. 6 even though she disapproves and is suspicious of it. She stays in order to provide a home for Shion to come back to if he ever has a chance to. Karan seems to have a strong sense of responsibility and maternal instinct, whilst being very emotional and determined. Lastly, please read the cursive as well as the indicated lines - Good Luck!

Yamase was a Co-worker of Shions and the second victim that succumbed to a parasitic wasp. He is, much like Fura, a disposable Character so you're welcome to audition for other Characters on the side. Yamase is a kind, open and nervous person. His voice is mostly tense or excited. Good Luck!

Lili, Rico and Karan are three small children with minor Roles. Rico and Karan live along side their other sibling and mother in the West Block an suffer from hunger and harsh living conditions due to poverty. Karan is already smart enough to grasp many things concerning their suvival and always looks out for her family. Lili on the other hand lives inside No. 6 and is a cheerful loving girl that visits Karans (Shions mothers) bakery multiple times in a week. If you think you absulutly cannot speak a male or female character you can just audition for Rico or Karan and Lili seperatly. Good Luck!

Inukashi is an independent person who views humans as despicable.
Inukashi is quick tempered and speaks their mind very bluntly. They have
a rash way of speaking and Rikiga
considers them a brat. Inukashi is very cocky and self aware, but has a
kinder side. Inukashi loves their dogs and constantly speaks about how
they're better and kinder than humans. They think that Shion is a huge
oddball -- not only because of his looks but also because of his
personality and naivety -- however they still offer him a job. As the
series goes on, Inukashi finds themself wondering if they'd gotten too
attached. It is implied that Inukashi is younger than Shion and Nezumi, but they seem to dabble in more dangerous things than they do in order to provide for their dogs and themself. They earn their money by running a Hotel and collecting dangerous information.

The first line belongs to a Prostitute who was briefly hitting on a dumbfounded Shion before Nezumi rescued him. The second line belongs to an old woman from the clothing shop who has a very thick accent and the last line belongs to some woman seeking help. There are some other Extras so, if you are confident that you can handle a multitude of different voice ranges then please try out for this. No pressure though, if there is ever an extra Role which you can't get behind well then I'm sure some of the other cast can jump in or help out. Good Luck!
