Role assigned to: Dennis Rowley

Fennec is the Mayor of Number 6 and as such holds all the strings in his hands. He is the direkt overseer of everything that is happening within the city walls and seeks to create a perfect utopian city of smart yet mindles followers. He is aware of the parasitic wasp project yet doesn't like to watch them work. He prefers to stay in the center of the city while observing the beauties of the city. He is cunning and manipulative (yet seems to be influinced by his lab coated friend a lot) he rarly loses an ounce of control over his voice and mostly speaks in a proud manner. Good Luck!
(You don't have to read the sentences in brackets they are only included for a better understanding of the situation!)

  • "Failure
and sacrifice are all things we must go through in order to gain progress.
Don't worry, we'll be able to overcome it to hold the final piece in our
    hands."

  • "I'm
sorry to disappoint, but I don't have much of an interest in organs of the
    auditory system."

    The man in
the lab coat shrugged, and lapsed into silence. Nothing happened.

    "Are
you sure there hasn't been some failure?" the mayor muttered in a low
    voice.

  • "Failure
and sacrifice are all things we must go through in order to gain progress.
Don't worry, we'll be able to overcome it to hold the final piece in our
    hands."

    ("I
guess you're right," the lab coat agreed.)

    "Let's
have supper then, shall we? This probably won't pique your interest much, but
I've had it all prepared, and the main course will be lamb. I've also a
    remarkable wine to go with."

Good delivery, but the sound levels are a bit low, and would be hard to edit. If you have the ability to boost them, it would get more consideration, I would think.

Didn't know anything about audacity when this was made. A better copy can be provided or redone. I would love the opportunity to do so. Thank you! https://www.castingcall.club/auditions/403206

Not to worry, and I'm just another VA who tries to help out where I can. Check some of the other auditions when you get the chance, and you can see, via soundwave, where the recordings will peak, and become distorted. You want to amplify to get up close to the top, but not flatline all the way across, if that makes any sense. On your recording software, when you're looking at your file, there may be a little solid box that you can slide up or down in the middle of your recording file. That's a simple way to amplify or reduce, if your program has it. Today's submission looks a lot better!
