Nexus
Project Overview
Nexus is a story I´ve been working on for a couple years now. I´m just looking for voice inspiration because it helps me when I´m wrtiting and maybe voice a few small animations/comic dubs. This story follows Utsu sasaki as she joins Nexus, a small organization for those who have supernatural abilities. However that is only half the story. She also has issues with her twin brother Koro. That doesn´t sound bad, but within Koro resides Shadow, a genocidal maniac. Many feuds ensue as Utsu tries to find a way to save her brother, even if it costs her life.

I will keep this casting call up until all roles are filled. However that doesn't mean I won't start working on projects until then. I plan to begin putting things together once I have the leads cast. Sin had a rough childhood, being experimented on and tortured, you know the usual. Because of that he is very angry and comes off as cold, but he is just afraid of getting rejected. While his innocence is gone, he is curious about the world around him. Another thing is that never smiles and does´t really know how to control his emotions. His voice is usually cool, calm and collected, but when he's angry it becomes more of a growl.
Now sleep, and show me your darkest fears.
(Thinking back to his childhood) The only foods I´ve eaten are these tan blocks, (In a childish manner) and something called a hamburger, along with some potato sticks and a sweet drink that you can eat with a spoon!¨
( Moment of realization) You left me behind. . . (Turns to rage) You could have taken me with you! You could have saved me from the hell that I have lived! Now you´re going to pay!

I will most likely be voicing her, but I want to see what other people do with her voice. She is the timid, but powerful, protagonist of this story. While she lacks self confidence herself, she helps others with theirs. She loves her twin brother, Koro, and still believes that here is good in him. While her tone can be played with, she is definitively not girly.
There was a time that I wished things could go back to the way they used to be. Back to when my brother and I were young and innocent, before Shadow came into our lives. Maybe, just maybe, things would have turned out differently.
¨I´m sorry. . . This was all my fault.

While Hyde can be childish, sarcastic, and fun, he can also be sadistic and maniacal. He is very manipulative and uses it to his advantage. His hobbies include working on his gadgets and messing with other people. His job sometimes requires him to cross dress for the sake of being undercover. Let's just say he doesn't disappoint, On the other hand he is almost feminine, and while his voice is light, it is that of a male. When he cares about someone, he will risk his life to protect them.
*Insert time related puns and sarcastic remarks* *Maybe a girlish scream*
(Poetically) Someone made of wax can´t get to close to someone who shines like the sun, for if they do they will melt and disappear.
(maniacally) The look on his face as his own son stabbed him was MAGNIFICENT

Koro is the protagonists twin brother. He is quiet and almost never speaks his mind because he was never allowed to. A light and almost feminine voice is his go to. However when he talks about Shadow, his tone turns dark
(Low and afraid) That THING does not deserve the right of a human name! It kills without conscience and wrecks havoc wherever it goes. (Koro)
( calmly and on the brink of tears) You should have killed me when you had the chance.

He is the Leader of the organization, a deep voice would be preferred. He means well and just wants to protect his colleagues, but always leaves out details when giving information. However, he is not dumb by any means and specialized in making plans of all sorts.

Genocidal, psychotic and just flat out insane, Shadow is the main antagonist in this story. He lives inside the head of Koro and takes over his body whenever he pleases. Feel free to play with his voice.

The mad scientist archetype of this story. He was the one who is responsible for Sin/ Liu's well being as a child and didn't do a very good job. He experimented on him, thus making Sin the person he is at the start of the story. He sounds kind at first, but red flags start going off when he starts experimenting.
