About the Podcast -
The Nest of Horrors Podcast is a short horror story telling podcast in the style of nosleep and creepypod. We make short horror stories submitted to us by authors and we create full cast audio productions, complete with music and sound design.

Compensation - (Please Read)
At this moment in time the podcast is not able to offer you compensation for your work, however, this will change as soon as the podcast starts making money.
Before Auditioning -
Our podcast is more about quality rather the quantity, and is for this reason we have some requirements that you need to meet before you submit an audition;
- A high quality microhphone, we will not accept audtions recorded on a laptop or headset mic, I wish we could but quality is important to us.
- Minimal background noise, it can be hard to have no background noise without a booth a low noise floor microphone, thankfuly small amounts of noise can be covered up with music and sound design so we're not expecting perfection but make sure it's minimal.
- Communication, there is a time frame within which we prefer to have the current episode finished by, not being able to finish on time is not that big of a deal as long as you make us aware so that we are not guessing as to what is going on.
- Patience and cooperation, if we choose you for a role, and you submit an audio that has issues with your acting, or background noise (eg traffic or dog barking) we will as you to rerecord until we are happy with the result, if you fail to cooperate we will give the role to someone else. we are serious about this project and we expect you to be as well.
Casting -
We will not cast anyone until the casting call is closed, which means you are just as likely to get the role regardless of when you submit the audition.

The main character, start having trouble eating due to man she keeps seeing, which pushes her to extreme actions
I had been feeling very attractive and confident when I got to work this morning as I had taken a long time to get ready: hair straightened, new skirt and boots. I hardly ever wore jewelry, but that day I did. <confident>
“Guys, look over there. Do ya’ll see that creepy guy?” <concerned>
I’ve begun to lose weight, quite a bit actually. My hip bones are prominent and poking out of my pelvis. I can see the outline of my spine. Food doesn’t taste good. I have to force myself to eat.
“Okay, hon. You’re number’s 336. We’ll have it right out, ”
Just a man saying numbers over the intercom

A creepy man that keeps appearing and tormenting the main character
“Man you’re really putting that meat down,”
