ABOUT THE PROJECT:
"The Meeting" is a My Hero Academia fan-comic created by the artist @magicmatt777 of Instagram. Some of the Class 1-A students are coming over to the Uraraka household to study for their upcoming exams, this includes Tenya Iida, Mina Ashido, and Izuku Midoriya( though other Class 1-A students make an appearance in the comic). In this comic, Izuku Midoriya meets Ochako Uraraka's parents for the first time. This is an IzuOcha ship comic, thought it's not exactly super romantic. It is more of subtle alluding to the ship sort of comic.
I'll be needing various VA's for this comic dub, both male and female. Though the most lines goes to the Uraraka family and Midoriya. The rest of the characters like Mina, Tenya, etc usually have one or two lines.
I've gotten permission from the artist ( @magicmatt777 ) to dub this comic. As long as I give credit and show him the video afterwards, we're all good!
REQUIREMENTS:
- - Good mic quality. No background noise. No peaking. I have no preferences for mics. As long as you sound great and there's no background noise getting in the way, then you're good!
- You need to have a Discord or an E-Mail for me to contact you. I prefer Discord as it easier to contact people there. But if you don't have Discord, then E-Mail is fine. Remember to drop your Discord tag when you Audition so it'll be quicker for me to contact you if you get the role.
- Follow Deadlines. I usually tell people to take their time, and I most likely will the entire cast that. But when I finally say "Hey, can you do this within a week?" that means I need the lines already. And by that timeframe, I expect it to be done. Of course I'll be understanding to those who have valid reasons like emergencies etc. - - You don't have to sound exactly like the characters did in the English Dub. As long as you can voice act great and can carry the character with how you talk, you'll be able to convince me that "Yeah, that definitely sounds like that character."
- - A good attitude is a must! I don't want arrogant people or rude people in this project. I don't care how good you are at voice acting. If you don't show proper professionalism and manners, if you act like you're better than others, no one will take you in a project. Especially me.
OTHER RULES & THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
- - If I cast you for a role and after that, by chance you broke your equipment & cannot replace it immediately, please tell me. Usually I'll extend the deadline for the sake of a person who's recording equipment broke. But if it is too long, I'll have to ask you to step down from your role in the project.
- - If you have any YouTube channels/websites/social media please let me know so I could properly credit you in the description of the video or in the actual video when it comes out. This is also a rule on my end, that I should be able to properly credit my voice actors when things are all said and done.
- If I cast you and you're fairly new to voice acting, then that means I see potential in you. Don't hesitate to ask help from me about voice acting. Though I'm not the most experienced person to teach you about the art of being a VA, I can help you with the basics.
- The video will be uploaded on my channel where I post all my voice acting content with others. As I mentioned you'll be properly credited!

Ochako Uraraka is one of the lead roles in this comic. She's quirky, goofy, and usually happy-go-lucky. A cute high-pitched female voice most suits her!
"Ah Deku-kun, you're the first one here! I haven't even taken a shower yet."
*Yawn* "Oh yeah, yeah. I'll be fine. All I need is that shower. That's all."
*Uraraka's mom makes a comment about how Ochako and Izuku would make a great couple*
"Why did you say that!?"
Mr Uraraka is the typical intimidating dad when a guy tries to get with her daughter. He has a lot of long lines in the comic, so I'll be using some of those for audition lines. I'll be needing a VA who can speak long sentences coherently. A medium to deep pitched voice that sounds like a dad would be great!
"I feel like I'm the bad guy in all of this, I went too far with my attitude towards Midoriya. I feel like Ochako doesn't deserve a parent like me I'm like this."
"You think you'll just walk away thinking you accomplished your goals... Into seducing my daughter into your simple charms."
"Well, whatever. I hate boys who have flashy quirks and act cute about it. It's irritating, all those countless boys Ochako bumped into in the past, they were all jerks. Getting all the attention for what?"
Mrs Uraraka is a very kind-hearted and supportive mother. She's a lowkey IzuOcha shipper. A motherly sounding voice will be perfect for the role.
"So, hon, why were you so harsh towards Midoriya?"
"Don't say that to yourself. I believe you're a wonderful parent, you did your best at the very least."
"My my, you know I think that Midoriya kid would make a fine future son-in-law."
Tenya is the eccentric class president. He is uptight and always follows the rules. A mid-deep ranged voice would be best for him.
"I told you we were gonna bring this to the study group!"
"SORRY FOR THE WAIT, BUT THE STUDY GROUP HAS ARRIVED!"
"I'll gladly take over for you Yaoyorozu. I will take full responsibility for our success in this exam."
Mina's a free-spirited and laid back girl, who struggles academically. Any voice would fit her as long as it fits the character.
I know, I'm so sorry Iida. Please forgive me!"
"What? You're not open on the weekends at all?"
"What in the world do we do!?"
Mr Aizawa is the Homeroom teacher of Class 1-A. He makes a brief appearance at the start of the comic. A calm yet slightly intimidating sounding voice fits best for him.
"I expect you have all these sheets. So, the final exams are next week. If you didn't get one, now's the time."
"Try your best to survive young heroes, class dismissed."
"Because if you don't succeed in this exam, your representation as a hero will drop and you'll be expelled."
Momo makes a brief appearance at the start of the comic. She has a couple of lines. A voice that is mature yet normal for a teen would fit her character the best.
"Sadly, I'm not. My parents are making me study double time. So no friends allowed."
"I recommend Iida-san to take charge for me."
Izuku's mom appears once in the comic. She gives motherly advice to Izuku before sending him off.
"Now Izuku you better do your best in this study group."
