Project Overview
Welcome to MHA Abridged, a parody series of My Hero Academia created by Myself and NanoShifter! We are often looking for more voices to be a part of our projects so be sure to keep up with my posts to audition for any of our series in the future!
AUDITION GUIDELINES
Microphone must be good quality, XLR’s ideally, but we can accept some usb mics with the right treatment.
Dedication (Mainly for supporting roles or higher) we don't like having to replace VA's so only audition if you're able to stay with the series until completion, not if you don't plan to keep voice acting for long.
Discord is a requirement, as you will need to be live directed
You can attempt to imitate the voice from the show or go for something original! (If you feel up for it you can try both ways in your auditions)
OTHER INFORMATION
This will be a full series, don’t audition if you can’t stick around.
There is no payment involved in this project for voice actors, Abridges are non-profit series and can't be monetized so money is tight for that stuff
You must be comfortable swearing, even though the episodes are mostly censored
Feel free to audition for multiple roles!

This is one of the larger supporting characters and she's an important member of the series, we're going for a relatively dignified voice like the show but we're not set on anything if you want to try something else!
(Excited) Oh! I must call mother and have her prepare the great hall for us to set up, it'll be the perfect spot! What kind of tea does everyone like? I'll have her make sure we're stocked!
(Neutral) Oh these things? They're just Russian nesting dolls.
(Scared, almost crying) Will I be able to pass this way? Wait, where am I running to? Can I do this??
Another one of the larger supporting characters, Tsuyu's abridged version is thirsty as hell and I will give an NSFW warning for this one because this role will be saying a lot more dirty and gross lines (definitely best for someone with an inappropriate sense of humour)
(Smiling, casual) That power of yours, Isn't it a lot like All Mights?
(Crying) It made me.. so sad to be without you
(Neutral, asking All Might a question in class) Will you detroit smash my fartbox?
Sato isn't an especially large role (at least as far as season 3, he could be bigger in the future) but you'll still get your fair share of lines throughout the series and we need someone who'll stick around.
(casual) The name’s Sato.
(annoyed) Pretty boys always have tricks up their sleeves
(worried) Ah crap I forgot about that!
Like Sato, Shoji isn't an especially large role (at least as far as season 3, he could be bigger in the future) but you'll still get your fair share of lines throughout the series and we need someone who'll stick around.
(Strategizing quietly) They’re on the fourth floor, both barefoot
I bet the invisible one plans to sneak up and surprise us
(reassuring) Don't worry, he's only one man
(Shouting) Midoriya!
