Moviethon - RPGmaker Horror game

Project Overview

A new corpse-party esc RPGmaker horror game. I say corpse-party esc but I'm original here, this isn't another cheap corpse party parody. Full original story (not even mentioning heavenly host) where the main story is portrayed through the voice acting and animation.


Notes:

Almost every role in this screams at least once. That's why there's a scream line in the audition. If you don't want to scream to audition, then you don't have to. But the game has almost every character screaming at least once in the long run.

  • Casting Complete

    Hello everybody, this is probably the final update to this page but I've just finished the casting. Those who have been cast, good job again on your auditions. Those who haven't may be disappointed but don't give up hope. A few of you may be contacted in the future about doing other characters that weren't included in this audition pole and there may even be another casting call later on if you still want to help. I hate not being able to give everybody a role but sometimes it just works that way. But, I'd like to thank everybody who auditioned. Those who weren't casted, it's not because you didn't have the talent or the skill to voice act, its just because you might not have been suited to any of the charictors on this particular project. Everybody that auditioned, please keep auditioning for my and others projects, as for a project designer, coming home in the evening to find an email saying that people have auditioned fills me with joy. Thanks for all of your help!

A year 10 boy who left the room just at the right time so that he wasn't killed. Co-incidance? Atcuay, so far, yes. Joshua is a very timmid boy who also manages to be the teachers pet. He bonds very strongly with adults and children his own age or slightly older make him socialy aquard so he stutters. He should have a quite high voice to demonstright him being from a younger year.

Married to Alex, Perent of Henry, a normaly quite logical woman who tries desepratly to make sense of the events coming on here, and ends up, in most situations, being the voice of reason. She's quite good at calming her normaly happy husbans temper by calmly adressing him.

The male adult lead and teacher. As far as I've planned he remains good untill the end, but he should be able to pull off the friendly chatty nature when he's talking to other teachers (line one) to the reletivly more firm conversation of teacure talking to student (line 2) and finaly when he's panicked by something (line 3).

Main Female Teacher, who gets along reletivly well with her students and is well manered and polite. This polite and decilate way of living gets streched to its limits when descovering corpse after corpse of the year 10 pupils, which is where her story starts to go wrong. As far as planned, she's going to stay good untill the end. Weather she's going to live or not I'm not sure but she's defenatly going to be good. The loss of her daughter at the hands of May also helps to adgitate her charictor.

Alex is married to Clara and they are henries perents, While normaly quite a Joker, Alex finds the situation quite difficult, but ends up dealing with things logialy as well as emotionaly. If you have a natrualy jolly voice, thats the sort of thing I would like for Alex, somebody who sounds like they should be jolly, but with all the events concuring he can't and that contrast would sound fantastic.

A well manered gentleman with quite a temper. That's how I would describe rodger. He should have a very posh sounding voice but also have the ability to sound demanding and cross, Father of James and husband of Jade

Jade is the mother of James and the wife of Rodger, while a much more caring mother than Clara overall she is more lead by her emotions, but instead of getting angry prefers to sob.

Proberly the protagonist of the series (dispite the charictors your playing as change every chapter), as of so far I've got no plans of her dying but.. we'll see. All I know is that she is going to be a good charictor untill the end (so if your looking for evil ghost lines, look at May). She's a well mannered yet slightly quirky 16 year old, who is sadly braught face foward to the events of the evening when her sister (who died in a car accident slightly earlier) visits her in the school.

May is Molly's younger sister, who just died in a car accident before the story begins. So you won't be playing May as much as her ghost, who first appears friendly but after she remembers that she dies she goes a bit mad, and then hostile. One of the main antaganists of the story but hopefully should give quite a shock when she brutly murder's her sisters friend. After all, what could go wrong when looking after the little girl?

Proberly close to a polar opposite to Lilly, a quite bossy and sometimes shouty and demanding young girl, but is quite good at taking charge and getting people through a tight situation when they find themselves in one. She's brave, but not Reckless

James is the main male protaganist untill he turns into the main male (teen male at least) antagonist. He's frightened of almost everything and has very over-exesive reactions to things such as jumpscares in horror films they watch in the intro. After a mysterious attack in the toliets, James starts acting strangely untill he goes right off the deep end and murders his best friend Henry.

James's friend who is one of the good guys up untill he gets killed off. He may return as a ghost later on or he may barely scrape through untill the end, not quite dicided. Not many charictoristics have been difined yet but a rather placid yet caring charictor.

Single father of two daughters (May and Molly), but very strong charictor and very deturmined. When he's lost one duaghter in a car accident allready, he's dam well not going to lose the other one in the same day. He has a very powerfull drive mixed with anger at the world and love for his children, a very promesing hero come to save the day. But, with all things, it can't be that simple.

The 'Evil Villan' of the whole plotline, should be able to sound like a normal yet strict headmaster and an evil howling spirit which should be fun. Ghost's don't scream so I'll just wright another ghostly attack line for line three. For the ghost lines firstly, feel free to add any modulation you like (or not, don't mind either way), but the main thing is lines that play while we wonders randomly arround the school, so not an emidient angry chacing threat but more like random mumbles, still give the lines alot of enthusiasm. But not angry as such, more like demanding and strict. Good luck!

Esme is tuffer than the other girls, to say the least. Her strightforward and sometimes selfish attitude can put her and others in danger but she's fun to talk too and enjoys tellling ghost storys. Quite a strong charictor untill she gets killed which is one of the only killings set in stone in the story, Later on she comes back as one of the main four antaganist ghosts, but her charictor is nice and her feelings inside are pure.
