Welcome to MotoTrials, a death game where Squid Game meets Ninja Warrior meets Motocross. Ricky(lead) wakes up, forced to participate in a brutal death game and during the game he meets Crusty.
Crusty is a former champion rider turned ghost of his own failure — twisted by time, regret, and something darker. Once like our hero Ricky, Crusty now roams the outskirts of the track, half-mad and half-mechanical, delivering cryptic warnings in a voice rusted by dust and disappointment.
He’s part mentor, part warning sign — gruff, bitter, and unpredictable. You’re never quite sure if he wants to help Ricky succeed... or make sure no one ever does.
Think: Old Snake meets Sling Blade meets post-apocalyptic motorcycle sage. Grit, soul, and just a flicker of something that used to be heroic.
🎭 What You’ll Be Voicing – Final Script for Crusty
Crusty appears in three key moments throughout MotoTrials, acting as a gruff, broken mentor figure who may or may not be trying to help the player escape a deadly competition. His tone shifts from raspy muttering to eerie calm — a man (or ghost?) who’s been through the wringer and didn't come out clean.
This is the complete list of finalized lines for Crusty in the game. The role is short but emotionally deep, and we’re looking for range, presence, and that unforgettable "I’ve seen things" energy.
CRUSTY – Final In-Game Dialogue Lines:
🎙️ [First Encounter]
“Stop right there, boy. You ain't gonna get out of here. No one does. This is all a big scam. They can’t make you continue on with this. Just sit here and relax… and die of hunger. That way, you don’t have to die for their amusement. You can be a man—and die on your own terms.”
(raspy, muttering, but sharp—like an old preacher who’s finally snapped)
🎙️ [Second Encounter – Final Level, Helicopter]
“You didn't think you were gettin’ outta here without old Crusty, did ya?”
(grinning through the dust, uninvited stowaway energy)
🎙️ [Final Encounter – The Ticket Booth]
“One ticket, huh?... You sure you wanna know how it ends?”
(eerily calm, like he’s been expecting you. A strange, surreal moment.)
(beat)
“I rode every inch of this nightmare too. But I didn’t win. I vanished. They buried me in bonus rounds and rewrites.”
(beat)
“Good luck, Ricky. Hope your ending’s better than mine.” (slides you a ticket)
🎙️ [Miscellaneous Lines – Atmospheric Dialogue]
“Ya know, I never won this thing… got close once. Real close. But maybe you’re the one who goes all the way.”
“You don’t look like much, boy... but you must’ve had heart to make it this far. Maybe you got what it takes to win this. I never did. I’m stuck here... with no way home.” (leans close)
🛠️ Note: These lines are final and make up the entirety of the role. We may request light pickup edits if needed, but there are no major monologues or cutscene reads beyond what’s listed here.

Hey there! We’re new to this platform, so not sure if YouTube links are allowed here — but we’ve uploaded a short video that shows what your role as Crusty could look like in-game and it is below.
The video features a rough placeholder performance (just me giving it a shot 😅) to help give you an idea of the direction we’re going for the character. It’s not final — just tone reference!
Feel free to read the audition line a few different ways. We love hearing different takes and interpretations.
When we were casting the “Announcer,” we had a general idea… but then a guy named Matt came in and completely blew us away. So don’t be afraid to make Crusty your own, we’re open to being surprised in the best way.
Thanks so much for auditioning, we can’t wait to hear what you bring to the table!

Here’s another video featuring some of the main characters from MotoTrials to give you a better sense of the game’s overall tone and atmosphere. This should help you get a feel for the world, the style of delivery we’re aiming for, and the kind of emotional weight we’re building into the performances.
