Plot Description

When the cosmic entity known as Galactus arrives on Earth, humanity believes the end of the world has come. But instead of consuming the planet, Galactus senses an extraordinary source of Power Cosmic emanating from a 26-year-old woman named Andrea Sinchak, a young woman working at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Drawn to Andrea’s unique cosmic resonance, Galactus reduces himself to roughly 1,000 feet tall and searches Manhattan for her. When Andrea sees the enormous being approaching, she runs and hides inside a building, terrified that Galactus intends to destroy her. Instead, Galactus gently removes her from the building and reveals that he has no desire to hurt her. He recognizes something extraordinary within her — a connection to the Power Cosmic that could change the fate of the universe.

As Galactus and Andrea grow closer, an unlikely friendship develops between them. Galactus ultimately declares Andrea his queen, and Andrea begins discovering cosmic abilities of her own. For the first time, the legendary Devourer of Worlds finds something he values more than the worlds he has consumed: a friend he is willing to protect at any cost.

But their newfound bond attracts the attention of Victor Von Doom, the ruler of Latveria. Doom discovers that Andrea’s Power Cosmic resonance could be the key to powering his ultimate weapon: the World-Eater Engine. He unleashes his enormous Titan and an army of Doombots to capture Andrea and bring her to Latveria.

Andrea is taken captive, and Doom intends to use her cosmic energy to control a machine powerful enough to challenge Galactus himself.

Realizing that he cannot defeat Doom’s forces alone, Galactus turns to Earth’s greatest heroes. The Fantastic Four and the Avengers reluctantly join forces with the cosmic giant they once feared. Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, Ben Grimm, and Earth’s Avengers must put aside their differences with Galactus and help him rescue Andrea before Doom can activate the World-Eater Engine.

The alliance leads to an unprecedented battle: Galactus, the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers versus Dr. Doom’s armies in Latveria.

As the battle reaches its climax, Galactus confronts Doom in a titanic struggle while the heroes fight their way through Doom’s forces. Andrea refuses to remain a helpless prisoner and discovers that the Power Cosmic within her gives her the ability to fight back.

The conflict becomes more than a battle for Earth. It becomes a battle for Andrea’s freedom — and for the friendship between a young woman and the cosmic being who chose to protect her.

In the final confrontation, Andrea makes her choice: she stands beside Galactus.

Together, Galactus, Andrea, the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers face Dr. Doom and his forces in a final battle that will determine the fate of Earth, Latveria, and potentially the entire universe.
