Hi everyone! My name is eccentricDuelist and this is the casting call for my very first project, Maken-Ki Abridged. I'm an aspiring voice actor and have been wanting to do an abridged series all my own for some time, but until recently have lacked necessary equipment. Anyway, Maken-Ki is one of my favorite action/ecchi series and I think this project will be a fun way for myself and others involved to possibly make some headway in the VA/Abridging community. More roles will become available with time.
Note: I'll be voicing Takeru myself, which is why his character isn't listed.
RULES:
1) Serious applicants only! I intend to do the whole series so anyone who auditions should be prepared to see this through to the end.
2) Mic quality: as little static/background noise as possible. Prior experience is not necessary but I'm a bit of a stickler about sound quality.
3) Enthusiasm is recommended required. I want everyone involved to genuinely enjoy this project.

I can't write for the life of me, so in order for this project to get off the ground I'll need the most help here since we obviously can't record anything without a script (max. 2)
Need an editor, preferably one experienced with AMVs and/or can cleanly sync lips (max. 1)
I need a voice director so all the lines flow smoothly (max. 1)
A second-year at Tenbi and VP of the Maken-ki. Also Takeru's childhood friend, she's in love with him but can't be honest with herself around him. However, she gets quite jealous when he receives the affections of other girls.

A second-year at Tenbi and the obligatory loli. She is foul-mouthed, quick to violence when angry, and rather self-conscious about her chest compared to the other girls'. She hates perverts and loves being in control.
(clearly pissed) What was that?!
Takeru's best friend and fellow letch (for lack of a better word). He is madly in love with Himegami and her violent tendencies, to the point that he's a total masochist. (Think Andre from Prison School)

Takeru's self-proclaimed fiancée, she also is quite in love with him and isn't afraid to show it, much to Haruko's ire. She loves cats and is somewhat on the slow side.

The PE teacher and newly-appointed principal of the academy, Minori loves her vices (namely drinking) almost as much as showing off, much to the ire of the female student body. However, being a former Maken-Ki member she is no slouch in terms of fighting prowess. Despite not being the most responsible person, she can rise to the occasion when the situation calls for it.
*testing the PA mic, audibly tipsy*

Look at all these fresh new faces. Name's Minori. First things first: I have the biggest chest in this entire school, and don't any of you forget it.
Rich and spoiled with above-average battle chops, she has a haughty attitude and thinks herself above others, especially Azuki. The pair’s intense rivalry has become locally famous.

President of the Maken-Ki. The closest thing to a voice of authority in the academy, but is easily embarrassed by her girlfriend Yuuka.
