Project Overview
Luminosity is a graphic novel that follows a crew of mercenaries who try to make their way through a new founded dystopian world that has been reshaped by war.
Despite society's efforts to heal and rebuild for the last 70 years, violence, greed, and a looming darkness influence this new way of life.
Using their skills and determination, the crew plans a heist to steal a very important asset in order to expose The Council that runs their world, but what they find turns out to be much more than they bargain for.

Rhett is a mercenary that is part of the main crew of our story. A veteran discharged from Spec Ops, Rhett was not expected to live through his severe injuries that led to his release, but somehow the attack is what kept him alive. He now works as a Merc in District 1, doing illegal activity for money more than anything else. He's very charismatic and uses lots of self-deprecating humor to cope.

Vance is a mercenary part of our main crew of the story. He's known around the district for being quite selfless and altruistic, going out of his way to help smaller communities and people in distress- even if that means getting himself into quite a bit of trouble. Vance is a person who knows hardship very well and strives to deliver hope into the world more than hate.
" Don't worry about them, they're just a little on edge with- well everything... We just weren't expecting things to turn out this way. You didn't do anything wrong. "
" You don't want to see what you don't want to see- but whoever these people are.. they're not just your average idealists- they're making people scared, uncomfortable. They're trying to give us a reason to trust them- And whatever the hell it is they follow... "
" No matter what the world throws at me, I can't bring myself to be heartless. I care a lot about people, hell- honestly I care too much… it's what gets me in trouble- but I just can't help it. I can't be another reason why somebody hates their life. "

SYN is a mercenary that is a part of the main crew of our story. Very keen on privacy, he is very determined and focused on continuing the work of someone close to him who had disappeared. Driven by a vendetta more than inspiration, SYN'S methods are a bit unorthodox but he'll do whatever he needs to get the job done.
" Count me out, gotta stay here and keep an eye on these monitors. But please don't get into any trouble while you're gone... The last thing we need is more eyes on us. "
" I understand how it feels to be different, to feel like everybody has a place at the table but you. The world isn't kind to people who don't fit in its box- But that don't mean you bow down to it... Yona is a mercenary a part of our main crew of the story. Born into a close-knit Nomad clan that had tragically been attacked, Yona had no choice but to make a life for herself within District/city limits. Bouncing between gang life and mercenary hardships, Yona struggles to find a place where she feels like she belongs. However, she's very adaptable and confident with herself no matter what life throws at her.
" I remember when I was a kid I used to ride dirt bikes with my cousins. We would get so muddy and dirty and my mom would yell at us for coming back to our camp so late. The campfires we had with the family after long days… I never realized how much I would miss that until I didn't have it anymore. "
" I don't wanna do this anymore. I want to live somewhere nice, somewhere I can settle down. Somewhere I don't have to fight my way through everything all the fucking time. It was fun for a while, sure- being reckless and stupid. But I'm tired of it…“
