Project Overview
We're aiming to do a fandub of Rachel Smythe's adorable webcomic Lore Olympus, found here: https://www.webtoons.com/en/romance/lore-olympus/list?title_no=1320&page=1
Lore Olympus is a reimagining of the Greek gods and an exploration of the blossoming romance between Hades and Persephone. As the comic itself is ongoing, this project will also be ongoing.
Each episode will be posted to YouTube. Recordings will not need to be directed live, but we will need a few different takes for each session. Hades and Hera have been cast and so their roles are not listed on here.

Persephone is a young goddess trying to find her way among the other divine beings. She's shy and a little insecure, but passionate and excitable. She's friendly and sweet, very expressive.
(Chastising) Persephone, you've really outdone yourself this time...
(Angry) You know what, let me tell you something about your brother!
(Playful) Trust me, I'm an excellent driver...SShhhh. I need a positive navigator.
Zeus is king of the gods, a serial adulterer, and a self-important figure. He's smug, confident, and thinks himself above others. Whether or not he deserves his authority, he's convinced he is and speaks as such.
(Excited, adoring) Hera, I've been looking for you everywhere! You look so beautiful tonight!
(Casual, not really caring what Hades' response is) Hi-hi! Just making sure you're all set for brunch this morning.
(Stern) Family brunch is mandatory.
Goddess of magic and witchcraft, Hecate is a doer. She's playful, confident, and knows what she wants. Blunt and smug.
(Frustrated, resigned) Not my circus, not my monkeys!
(Interrogating, rising in intensity and volume) Was that...The goddess of spring, Persephone...Exiting your house?
(Smug, upbeat) She's the only daughter of Demeter. And heiress to the Barley Mother fortune. Her net worth is huge. And you cut in front of her at the station.
Minthe is a nymph and Hades' secretary. She has an on-again-off-again and highly unhealthy relationship with Hades. She's selfish, catty, and manipulative.
(Cruel) What I mean is: I don't particularly feel like being seen in public with you today.
(Shrill) Hey ass-hat! Stop sulking and pick up the phone!
(Teasing) Poor Thetis. It must be so difficult taking what you can get from a married man.
Thanatos is the God of death. He's lazy but has a high self-importance. He's snide, conceded, and conniving.
(Reluctant) I...may have cut in front of her at the station this morning.
(Resigned) I was going to tell her about what I saw, but she seems happy. If I tell her now, she'll probably think it's coming from a place of jealousy.
Eros, the god of sexuality. He's bright and vivacious. A walking ray of sunshine. He wants people to be happy and takes care of his many siblings. However, he can be easily manipulated by his mother.
(Bright, chatty) They are the ultimate on again, off again dumpster fire. Last time I saw them, they made such a spectacle.
(Remorseful) When did you forget about love?
(Joking) We'll just tell her you're feeling a bit more deranged than usual.
Goddess of the hunt, Artemis is a close friend of Persephone's. She's brash, tough, and loud.
(Worried/Aggressive) You get out of this pervert's car right this instant!
(Powerful, making a declaration) Men are forbidden in this house.
Goddess of beauty and love, mother of Eros. Aphrodite is proud of her beauty and goes to great lengths to make sure her looks are loved and appreciated. She is insecure, however, and prone to jealousy.
(Dismissive) Oh, stop fussing and hurry up. Serves her right for being so trusting.
(Over-dramatic, feigning melancholy) You still owe me big time after that shit you pulled with Psyche.
Alecto is one of the Furies. She's vicious, snarky, and a leader.
(Teasing) I didn't take you for the matchmaker type.
(Excited) Someone's knees need a-cracking?
Megaera is one of the Furies. The most sensitive and emotional of her sisters, she's still a force of chaos like the other Furies. Playful and romantic.
(Jealous/sad) It should have been me!
(Matter-of-fact/confident) I have proof! Facts!
(Over-enunciating) Doc-u-men-tation!
Tisiphone, one of the Furies. Quiet but equally ready for chaos.
(Exasperated) You just have that thing on you? I just don't think he's that into you.
Apollo, god of the sun. He's over-confident, sleazy, selfish, and misogynistic. A huge narcissist.
(Dismissive) Some flower goddess? I dunno. She's new.
(Annoyed) You are such a pain in the ass. Stay in the car!
Cronus. Titan and god of time. A powerful, booming voice needed.
(Serious) You've enjoyed him for long enough. Give him to me.
Mother of Persephone and goddess of Harvest. Motherly and loving, but with a stern and protective side.
(Excited) Doesn't that sound like fun?
(Melancholic) I feel sorry for Uncle Hades.
(Playful/fun) *laugh* Blink twice if you're in trouble!
(Sincere/apologetic) Come on, Arty. Don't give me the stink eye.
(Excited) Hey kids! Hope I'm not interrupting!
A young mortal woman. She has been manipulated for most of her life and is a little insecure. Only with her partner, Eros, she finds personal confidence.
(Sarcastic) Well I'm certainly not the pig.
(Hesitant, but hopeful) I really want to go outside.
Poseidon is dense, but easygoing. Impulsive.
(Indignant) Please explain to me how that wasn't totally awesome!
(Mystified, deep in thought) Mermaids are like...angels from the sea...
Thetis is a catty and selfish nymph. She loves to cause trouble.
(Playful) Relax. You know I can keep a secret. Don't forget to zip up your fly.
