Dark Souls Comic Dub: Sieglinde Of Catarina
Project Overview
Lordran And Beyond is a series of comics created by Zach Sharpe and several talented artists based on the world and characters of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. This is a project to dub all of their amazing comics so that more people can enjoy them in a new way.
It is advised that you look up the canonical voices of these characters before you audition, but I will be judging based on talent and understanding of the character, not by similarity to the canon voices. Still, I believe that they did a good enough job with the original casting that it will serve as a very helpful baseline to any auditioners. You should also read the original comic, found here.
Please, only audition if you have a decent recording setup. This means that you should have a decent microphone, such as a Blue or AudioTechnica product, as well as a pop filter. Background voice should be non-existent, eliminated in either pre or post production. I'm afraid I have to be pretty picky in this area, as I would love for this project to have an edge of professionalism befitting the quality of the comic.

Don't worry about the echo effect created by her helmet, I'll happily handle that.
As you can tell, she's very high pitched in canon but this is not a priority for this dub. What's most important is to have a solid handle on sounding polite and respectful. Again, please read the comic for a full understanding of her character in this project.

Shiva is a samurai, with a slight but noticeable Japanese accent. He has a serious and deep voice, with little urge to joke around or waste words. If your Japanese accent is bad, I would rather you audition without it at all. Obviously, though, it is very preferred.

Oswald his pompous, and a bit of a snake. The best advice I can give is to sound as though you are a mean-spirited person trying to be and sound nice. Definitely retain the haughtiness of his voice, as if he just assumes that he's superior to whoever he's speaking to.
