Looking for teen Girl Group members (12-18 years)
Project Overview
🌎 GLOBAL TEEN GIRL GROUP — VOCAL AUDITIONS 🎤✨
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Welcome to a global online teen girl group for singers aged 12–18 from anywhere in the world! 🌎
This project is about bringing together young singers from different countries to create a fun, energetic, and vocal-focused girl group.
The main focus will be pop music, strong vocals, harmonies, and having fun together. I want the group to have a modern teen-pop sound with catchy melodies, different vocal colors, and lots of harmonies.
The project is inspired by the vocal harmonies and energy of G-NAT!ON, with a small touch of the international girl-group/performance feeling you can find in groups like KATSEYE or the older SPICEGIRLS—but this group will have its own identity and style.
This is not a K-pop group, and we are not trying to copy any existing group. The inspiration is only there to give an idea of the kind of energy and vocal focus I like.
Everything will happen online, so you can participate from anywhere in the world.
Depending on the group and what everyone wants to do, we may work on:
Original songs
Covers
Vocal harmony projects
Songwriting and composing
Recording projects
Music-related content
Collaborations between members
Potentially releasing music in the future
The main goal is to have fun, meet other young singers, and make music together, but I also want the music itself to sound as polished and professional as possible.
THE GROUP
I am currently looking for around 5–7 core members.
There may be an 8th member if we find someone who is a particularly good fit as a rapper/vocal-rapper.
The group will have different vocal strengths rather than everyone having exactly the same voice.
That means we can have:
Higher voices
Lower voices
Powerful voices
Soft voices
Lead singers
Harmony specialists
Versatile singers
Potentially a rapper/vocal-rapper
The goal is for the voices to work together, not just individually sound good.
You do not need to be professionally trained.
I'm much more interested in your potential, musicality, personality, willingness to learn, and how your voice works with other people than whether you already have professional experience.
VOCAL ROLES
These roles are mainly used to help us understand everyone's strengths. They are not meant to put members into strict boxes.
1. MAIN VOCALIST
For singers with a strong, expressive, and confident voice.
You should ideally have:
A strong and controlled singing voice
Good pitch accuracy
Good breath control
Ability to sing challenging vocal parts
Ability to sing higher notes comfortably
Emotional delivery
Clear English pronunciation
Ability to sing both lead parts and harmonies
Ability to adapt your voice to different songs
You don't have to be the loudest singer in every song. Control and musicality are more important than simply singing loudly.
2. LEAD VOCALIST
For versatile singers who can carry important melodic parts of songs.
You should ideally have:
A clear and pleasant tone
Good pitch
Good rhythm
Ability to learn melodies quickly
Confidence singing verses, pre-choruses, and choruses
Clear English pronunciation
Ability to sing lead vocals
Ability to sing backing vocals and harmonies
A voice that works well with different styles of pop
Lead vocalists will often have important parts in songs, but will also be expected to work as part of the group.
3. HARMONY VOCALIST
This is a particularly important role because harmonies will be a big part of the group.
You should ideally have:
Very good pitch accuracy
Ability to hold a harmony independently
Good timing
Ability to listen carefully to other singers
Ability to blend your voice with different voices
Ability to learn different harmony parts
A clear and controlled voice
Patience when recording multiple vocal layers
Good musical awareness
You don't necessarily need the biggest or most powerful voice.
Being able to make several voices sound like one group is the important part.
4. HIGH VOCALIST
For singers who naturally have a comfortable higher register.
You should ideally have:
Good pitch in your higher register
A clear or bright tone
Ability to sing high harmonies
Ability to sing lighter high parts without straining
Good breath control
Ability to sing simple runs or ad-libs
Clear English pronunciation
Ability to blend with other voices
You do not need to be a soprano.
The important thing is that higher notes are comfortable and controlled for you.
5. LOW VOCALIST
For singers with a naturally lower, warmer, or darker vocal color.
You should ideally have:
A comfortable lower register
Good pitch on lower notes
A warm or darker vocal tone
Clear singing without forcing your voice lower
Good rhythm
Ability to sing harmonies
Ability to change between softer and stronger vocals
Clear English pronunciation
A lower voice can add a lot of contrast to a group with several higher voices.
6. POWER VOCALIST
Optional role
For singers who can deliver strong and powerful parts while staying controlled.
You should ideally have:
Strong vocal projection
Good breath support
Good pitch while singing powerfully
Ability to sing powerful choruses
Ability to hold sustained notes
Strong emotional delivery
Ability to provide powerful backing vocals
Good control without shouting or straining
This role can overlap with Main Vocalist.
7. ALL-ROUNDER VOCALIST
Optional role
For singers who are comfortable doing a little bit of everything.
You should ideally have:
Good pitch
Good rhythm
Flexible vocal range
Ability to sing both higher and lower parts
Ability to sing lead vocals
Ability to sing harmonies
Clear English pronunciation
Ability to blend with different voices
Ability to adapt to different songs and vocal arrangements
Willingness to record backing vocals and additional layers
You don't have to be the absolute best at one specific thing. Being very adaptable is the main strength of this role.
8. RAPPER / VOCAL-RAPPER
Optional—only if needed
Rap will not be the main focus of the group, but there may be space for a rapper or vocal-rapper if someone is a good fit.
You should ideally have:
Clear diction
Good rhythm and timing
Ability to stay on beat
Confident delivery
Good English pronunciation
Ability to learn rap sections
A distinctive vocal personality
Singing ability is a plus
Ability to switch between singing and rapping
This role is optional and will only be added if it fits the final group.
BACKSTAGE ROLES
Not everyone has to be a singer!
There are also opportunities for people who are interested in the music-making side of the project.
9. MUSIC PRODUCER / BEATMAKER 🎹
You would help turn lyrics, melodies, and ideas into finished pop productions.
You should ideally know how to work with things such as
Drums
Bass
Synths
Piano
Guitar
Melodies
Chords
Song structure
Pop production
Experience with a DAW such as FL Studio, Logic Pro, Ableton, GarageBand, Soundtrap, or BandLab is helpful.
You don't need to be a professional producer, but you should be comfortable creating or arranging music.
10. VOCAL PRODUCER / VOCAL EDITOR
You would help make recorded vocals sound clean and polished.
Tasks could include:
Cleaning recordings
Removing unwanted noise
Choosing the best takes
Aligning vocal takes
Editing harmonies
Basic pitch correction/autotune

Reverb and delay
Making vocal layers blend together
Keeping vocals natural rather than overprocessed
11. MIXING / AUDIO ENGINEER

You should ideally understand:
Vocal volume

Harmony balance
Exporting high-quality audio
Working with vocal and instrumental stems
12. VISUAL / CREATIVE TEAM
Optional
You could help with:
Cover art
Logos
Thumbnails
Lyric videos
Social media graphics
Music video ideas
Visual concepts
Promotional content
You don't have to be a professional graphic designer. Creativity and being able to work with the group are important.
ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm the person who started this project, but I'm also going to be a member of the group.
I can write lyrics and compose melodies, and I'm interested in songwriting, music, and the creative side of the project.
I also want to sing as a member.
I won't make everyone audition against me or decide that I'm automatically the best singer because I started the group. I want everyone's voices to be judged fairly.
I'll share my own singing later in the audition process so the other members can also hear what I sound like.
Most importantly, I don't want to create a group where one person makes every decision.
I want us to actually feel like one team.
GROUP IDENTITY & TEAM
The final group name, visual identity, and exact style have NOT been decided yet.
And that's intentional.
I want the members who eventually join to have a real say in what we become.
After the members are selected, we can work together on things like
Group name
Colors and visual identity
Overall aesthetic
Exact musical style
Song concepts
Vocal arrangements
Social media/content ideas
Music video concepts
Future releases
Collaborations
There is a general direction already: pop music, strong vocals, harmonies, and an energetic group sound.
But the details are open.
I don't want everyone to simply follow instructions from me.
I want members who bring their own ideas, personalities and creativity.
We might disagree sometimes, and that's completely normal. What's important is that we listen to each other, communicate, and find solutions together.
We're a team.
AUDITION PROCESS
There will be three main audition rounds.
ROUND 1 — ONLINE AUDITION 🎧
For the first audition, you can submit either
A cappella
OR
Karaoke
Choose a song that shows your voice well and is suitable for your vocal range.
I'm mainly listening for:
Pitch
Rhythm
Tone
Vocal control
Musicality
English pronunciation
Vocal potential
Personality
You don't need professional recording equipment.
Up to 10 people per role may move on to Round 2.
ROUND 2—LIVE 1-ON-1 AUDITION
The second round will take place online, most likely through Discord.
This will be a live audition where I'll be able to hear your natural voice without multiple takes or heavy editing.
You may be asked to:
Sing part of your audition song
Sing a different section
Try a short vocal exercise
Sing a harmony
Show a different part of your range
This is also a chance for us to talk a little and get to know you.
Up to 5 people per role may move on to Round 3.
ROUND 3 — GROUP AUDITION
This is the most important round.
Candidates who make it this far will be placed into small groups.
You'll receive a short musical section where different people can sing different vocal parts and harmonies.
We'll then sing it together.
I'll be looking at:
Vocal blending
Harmony accuracy
Timing
Ability to listen to others
Teamwork
Communication
Personality
How well your voice works with other voices
Group chemistry
This round isn't just about asking:
"Who is the best singer?"
It's about asking:
"Which voices work together to create a great group?"
The final members will be selected after this round.
RECORDING REQUIREMENTS
For your online audition:
Please make sure:
Your voice is clearly audible
You use a reasonably good microphone if possible
There is as little background noise as possible
A phone microphone is completely okay if the recording is clear
Try to record somewhere relatively quiet
Your karaoke track shouldn't be louder than your voice
Your voice shouldn't be hidden by effects
Please don't use heavy autotune
Please don't use heavy reverb/echo that makes it difficult to hear your natural voice
You don't need an expensive studio microphone.
A clear recording in a quiet room is much more useful than an expensive microphone in a noisy environment.
WHO CAN JOIN?
You should:
Be between 12 and 18 years old
Be comfortable singing in English
Be interested in pop music
Be willing to learn harmonies
Be willing to record multiple takes when necessary
Be comfortable receiving constructive feedback
Be able to communicate respectfully with other members
Have access to Discord or another agreed online communication platform
Be able to participate in online recording projects
Be comfortable talking in English and understand the most words
You do not need:
Professional singing experience
A record label
Expensive equipment
Previous girl-group experience
A large social media following
Potential and teamwork are much more important.
TEAMWORK
This group is not just about individual singers.
We will need to work together.
That means:
Respecting everyone's voice
Listening to different opinions
Giving constructive feedback
Being reliable
Communicating if you can't participate
Being patient during recordings
Helping each other improve
Giving everyone a chance to contribute
Everyone should be able to feel comfortable being themselves.
SAFETY & PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Because everyone involved is a minor, parents/guardians should be aware that you are participating in this project.
The group will operate online, and we will keep communication focused on the music project.
For anything involving serious contracts, payments, commercial releases, or other legal agreements, parents/guardians will need to be involved.
Your safety and comfort come first.
FINAL NOTE
You don't have to be perfect.
Maybe you're already an amazing singer.
Maybe you're still learning.
Maybe you have a beautiful low voice.
Maybe you can sing really high.
Maybe harmonies are your thing.
Maybe you're an all-rounder.
Maybe you love songwriting.
Maybe you're better behind the scenes.
There is no single type of person I'm looking for.
I'm looking for young people who love music, want to create something together, and are excited to be part of a real team.
If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear you sing. 🎤🤍🌎
