Hey all! Welcome to a casting call for the dubbing of Long Live The Queen, developed by Hanako games. The story follows Elodie, crown princess, and her goal is to stay alive and maintain a stable country until her coronation.
The plot is nothing short of eccentric, unique characters, each with their own motivations, ideals, and thoughts on the state of affairs. It also contains so many branching paths - enough to put even AAA games to shame.
We just have a few stipulations and rules:
1. All voices are spoken in English. You may go wild with accents, however.
2. As this game does contain some rather descriptive scenes (no NSFW, however), we ask that all those that are auditioning are at least 14 years old.
3. We ask that all individuals auditioning provide their discord: I will personally add them and send an invite to the server we are using for this project.
4. This project is Zero Budget: HOWEVER, there will be something for the cast and crew if this goes over well :-).
5. This project (and audition lines) will contain spoilers for the game.
6. Role significance: "Extra" characters refers to characters that appear many times throughout the plot, but have either little lines, or are avoided entirely in certain playthroughs. These will be assigned manually by myself - multiple people will be casted for these roles (feel free to send in a demo if you want!). Additionally, I will be playing one of the minor roles myself, that being Kevan, Earl of Io.
7. Most importantly, have fun. We are all here for a great time.

You swiftly step aside and let her pass.
Gwenelle's party is lovely - not nearly as glamorous as your own upcoming birthday will be, of course, but it is still a major event on the noble social calendar. Everyone who is anyone is present. Uncle Laurent and your younger cousins are here, but Charlotte and her mother are not. Apparently Charlotte was ill. There are refreshments and dancers and musicians and polite conversations... and one or two not-so-polite.
The challenger explains the rules of formal dueling to you, including a carefully inscribed circle of wards which will contain the effects of any powers you wield, protecting bystanders from danger. And then it is time to begin. You trade attacks, one spell sensed and countered by another, reserving your strength as much as possible. It might almost be exciting if your life wasn't on the line.
This is Elodie, the fourteen year old Crown Princess and protagonist of the story. Her mood fluctuates often, ranging from cheerful, to depressed, to angry, and so on. As a character, she is lacking in confidence due to the loss of her mother, but paradoxically is somewhat full of herself.
Elodie's eloquence and demeanor change from playthrough to playthrough. As such, the lines below account for several scenarios.

That's right! Gwenelle is about to turn fifteen! She'll be Duchess of Sudbury for real now.

This is Joslyn, the "king" of Nova, and Elodie's father. The reason the king is in quotations is because ... well, he isn't all too useful. He is knowledgeable about the affairs of commoners and mindset of nobles, but he primarily serves as a "newspaper" to Elodie, so to speak, with little to no guidance. He is, however, still her father. And he loves her with every fiber of his being - doing anything and everything he can to keep her safe.
Remember, the Festival of the Good Lady is approaching. There will be public celebrations for the commoners, followed by a grand gala for the nobility.
As Queen, you would be expected to lead the procession and take part in the ceremonial planting, possibly give a speech.
However, since you are not yet crowned, it is not required, and it may not be safe to expose you to the public.
(To Julianna) You have no respect or honor. It is because of you and your powers that my wife is dead!
Your line has been traitors for two hundred years. I won't have you corrupting my daughter.
You will need to draw up a naval strategy for our ships to carry out.
You could choose to act as admiral and lead the fleet in person, but the danger to you would be very great.
Unless you think your personal skills will make the difference, I would strongly advise against it.
Julianna is a lumen (a magic user), and is blunt, stern, and incredibly brave. She certainly lacks the eccentricity that the rest of the cast possesses, but in the heat of the moment, she is a force to be reckoned with.
I am a Lumen, as was she, and like every Lumen I am willing to give my life if necessary to protect our domain. This is for the crown princess to decide.
Your aunt has a point. Milk vipers are not native to this area. That snake should never have been here. Someone may have tried to kill you.
This world is filled with dangers, and you will need the powers of a Lumen to fight them. You cannot begin training until you have bonded with your crystal.
Talarist is a kind, trusting, and wholesome individual. While some believe that he is only out for the throne, deep down, he truly will do anything to protect those that he admires.
Ah, Your Highness. What a pleasure it is to meet you in person at last. Your description did not do you justice.

Banion is conniving, deceiving, and a hard-headed individual. His primarily goal in life is to attend to political agenda, with little to no concern for anyone else (other than his sister, Brin).

Togami is the king of a foreign domain that has conquered many territories in the past, and eventually invades Nova. He is dominant, in terms of physical power, magical proficiency, and royal demeanor. He will stop at nothing to achieve victory.
Temper, temper, Princess. After all, I am here to save your people.

A contest. A game, so to speak, with Nova as the stakes. Should I win, then your domain will submit and accept me as Overlord with no further resistance.

Sabine's musical abilities are average at best, and she knows this. While not her forte, and while she's a much more talented spy, Sabine has a genuine interest in improving her musical abilities. Regardless, she's talented enough to entertain untrained ears, like that of commoners.
Your Royal Highness! If you accept me as a member of your court I will immortalize you in word and song. I have dabbled in musical styles from many countries, and can entertain your guests and lighten your evenings.
I had done an investigation on the gifts sent down the Kavalla River, who we suspected were out to kill you ... The findings seem to match the handwriting of a prominent noble. You won't like this.

Alice is a commoner, tasked with being Elodie's primary maid. She obeys Elodie's beck and call to the best of her ability. (And, she's also one of the marriage candidates, depending on the playthrough!)
