Project Overview
UPDATE:
Apologies if extending the deadline is considered bad practice, but the small group I'm coordinating judging auditions is busy for another couple of days.

INTRO:
Hello! This is a casting call for LomCom, a set of YouTube videos that are a fast-paced, comedic, unhinged parody retelling of the events in the Project Moon Universe, considered as skits.
At the moment, it features primarily the main cast of Limbus Company, but will feature additional characters as the series continues and expands.
REQUIREMENTS:
This is a paid project that I am funding out of my own pocket. A significant level of technical and performance quality is expected.
Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping.
Some of these roles are for larger than life characters who tend to emote HEAVILY.
As such, these roles will probably involve shouting and overacting in some capacity at some time or another.
If you cannot commit to the needs of a given role, please do not audition, as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot give the performance a role requires (e.g. Don Quixote).
CASTING IN REGARDS TO PAYMENT:
If you are cast, I will not expect you to do any recording for me until you are appropriately compensated for your time.
Payment is going to be on a per case/episode basis: you will be paid for each case your role appears in.
The listed price is an estimate of a leading role of an episode. (Typically 100-200+ words, $10-20+ in payment.)
I may request retakes after the initial delivery. This will not change the payment amount.
Leading roles in these episodes will be paid the highest amount as they will be appearing most frequently, and deserve to be accommodated accordingly.
However, what may be considered as the leading role may change depending on the direction of the episode.
As such, the pay for such roles may vary from other characters in the same classification.
Each actor will be compensated according to the requirements that will be expected of them.
PAYMENT METHOD:
PayPal only.
If you do not have a PayPal account, you may not receive payment with inclusion in this series.
Payments will be made on a per case/episode basis, as each video may or may not feature the role.
DISCLOSURE/PLEASE READ:
Due to the initial inclusion of AI voices, the episodes prior to this casting call of LomCom are an unmonetized, non-profit YouTube series.
The transition from use of AI to voice actors will be a comedic focal point of the first episode featuring voice actors.
Voice actors will be used once the first episode featuring Kromer is in production, and further episodes will only feature use of voice actors. Episodes in the series proceeding that point will be monetized.
Usage of AI technology was for an experimental unmonetized interest check for a comedic short Limbus Company series, and I was in no position to hire voice actors at the time.
FINAL NOTES:
- I am a long time fan of the Project Moon franchise, and have been making content revolving around it for the past 3 years. Myself, connections, and fans of either PM or my content may be submitting auditions alongside those who wish to participate from here. I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO TRY AND IMITATE OUR PERFORMANCES. Each role has its own suggested guidance, but you are more than welcome to try at your own interpretation of it.

Might sound both motherly yet aloof in lieu of being calm and reassuring.
She is a high intelligence, low wisdom kind of person.
A brilliant woman with the stoic —yet insufferable— pride to back it up.
Faust says Faust's name when referring to Faust, whenever boasting or talking about herself.

Generally calm and monotonous speech.
Tired-adjacent, as if they have no aspirations.
High intelligence, high wisdom.
May use big words from time to time, but is courteous to the layman.

A naive person, loveable fool, and very childish.
Talks in an animated, exaggerated manner and jumps into any situation with reckless enthusiasm.
She notably speaks exclusively in Middle English in order to assume a knightly persona, and may break character from time to time.
The accent is not required to be good, as it can be portrayed as a poor Middle-English accent.
If you happen to peak your microphone in this, you're probably doing it right!

Ryōshū holds a generally hostile attitude to anyone that she speaks with, often seeing the other sinners as people with dull eyes for not understanding true works of art and flaying her enemies apart to witness them in a macabre sense of artful ecstasy in any manner of gore.
Most of her lines include a short abbreviation of a sentence that is typically descriptive in nature, or in her words, a SANGRIA (Succinct abbreviation naturally germinates rather immaculate art).
Being able to perform a Japanese accent would definitely be preferred when saying her SANGRIAs, but not required.

Appears to be a very short-tempered and abrasive individual, almost always choosing aggression as his first resort.
Despite his intimidating attitude, he doesn't appear to be particularly arrogant or selfish, in fact he is shown to be quite the opposite.

She has a tendency to be exceptionally critical of those around her, regardless of their level of authority, as she prioritizes rationality above formalities.
Tends to be the Straight Man/Helpless Observer trope in this series.

Staunch nature and fairly reasonably intelligent.

She'd probably be someone who would engage in stock hype, be fooled by pump and dumps, and crypto.

Has a powerful, Shonen main character voice when standing up for himself, and when he's serious, in contrast to being incoherent.

She is shown to be rather subdued and relatively normal, as she approaches most scenarios with a cool-head and tactical mindset.
A strange sycophantic relationship towards Dante. Exaggerated in this series.

Gregor is considerably amicable, and tends to maintain a cursory attitude.

Chances are that I'll make a skit involving them, so you would be able to voice characters not typically prominent in Limbus Company, or possibly others in the Project Moon franchise.
