Paid: Flat Rate 20 USD
Role assigned to: Zephyr Berry

Lead character. Non-binary, young adult, androgynous voice. BIPOC actor preferred but anyone can apply. Men and women can apply so long as they fit the androgynous requirement!

The story shows Robin both in the present as well as in the past - a change in voice to delineate between the two is ideal.

Robin is a young adult (early 20s) who comes from a realistic world and now lives, much more confidently, in a magical one. Their past version is around 17-18, very insecure about themself and an outcast in a place they'd otherwise call home. They're responsible, a bit of a stick-in-the-mud, but very empathetic.

In the story, they are led magically through their memories of summer camp to find a magical creature. They discover that their past was not as joyful as they remember, and decide to move on.

Role is paid $3 per line, including retakes. Pay is anywhere starting from $60 (~20 lines).

Role assigned to: Lexie Dreamstate

Side character, 11-13 year old boy, looking for black actors. Must sound young - men and women both can apply.

Lucas is a camper who struggles to fit in and is keenly aware of it. He is autistic and a "problem child", putting up a silent exterior when confronted but is genuinely a curious and kind kid when treated well. Lucas is attached to his counselor Robin, a fellow outcast, but Robin grows frustrated with Lucas's behavior and the two chafe.

His oddity is portrayed through his ability to see magic around him. Lucas likes to take photos with his disposable camera, especially of the magical creatures he can see.

This role is paid $3/line, including retakes. The total would be anywhere starting from $15 (5 lines).

Side character, young adult male.

Horton is a sleazy older teen (around 17-18) camp counselor. He can come across as friendly though is quite inconsiderate and unreliable, leaving his job responsibilities to fall onto his co-counselor, Robin. Robin believes Horton to be a friend but Horton is purposefully using their naïveté to his advantage.

He's the kind of guy who doesn't really want to take things seriously and would much rather slack off.

Pay for this role is $3/line including additional retakes (starting at $9). Horton has 3 lines.

Counselor

Paid: Flat Rate 20 USD
Role assigned to: Nikoleta Klikovac

Minor character, young adult female (late teens). Peppy voice.

The counselor is a minor side character and works as a camp counselor along with Robin. She's very friendly with them and seems like a safe person, but this counselor contributes to the exclusion of Robin at the end of the day and doesn't really know them. She should border between nice and condescending.

Pay for this role will be $3 per line, starting at $9 (3 lines).

Voice description:

  • female teen
  • all american accents
  • (Quiet, condescending) Listen, you’re really good at dealing with him, y’know? So can you just talk to him, please?
