Recently, a reel of mine on Instagram got a lot more popular than I expected. I’ll link my Instagram on the project.
The characters used are from a Dungeons and Dragons character’s backstory which my husband and I wrote about much more extensively than necessary, but now they live in my head and I’m motivated to make more with them.
I’m starting with another short-form video trend, which will require voice actors, but if it goes well I may continue to create with these characters and may call you back to provide your lovely voice again!
We’re following the American Natives Gang: a group of revolutionaries based in New York in an alternative history future where the class divide has gotten out of hand. Led by 14 year old Orion, the gang is made up of mostly teenagers and young adults, and some hired mercenaries for the big missions.
Most artwork for project one is complete.
Additional characters will be added today or tomorrow (2M)
I expect things to slow down as I start writing out the framework for the comics. Midterms are starting up so I will be balancing it - but I will hold KIPOS as a priority alongside my schoolwork.

Huge huge thank you to everyone following along on Instagram and those who migrated here to join me in this project. These characters mean so much to me and it makes me so happy that they spoke to you too.
Artwork for the first project is officially in the works (and beyond the sketching stage). With growing support, I’m more and more motivated to make this a bigger project. That being said, I’m going to be quite picky when it comes to picking a VA. (I think for Sanna especially, because she is the first character we made and the one I played in the game days.)
I’ve added another line for each character, just to get a better understanding of range.
* A note of advice: their voices aren’t meant to be necessarily sexy or heroic. Maybe Orion is a bit heroic because he’s playing that role, but be natural with it! None of these characters are too eccentric except Orion.
I will likely add more roles to this project as I continue to make more content, and more characters are introduced.

Sanna acts as a second in command in the American Natives Gang, below Orion. She’s known as “The Matriarch” despite being only 19, because she holds an authority, in a way, above Orion. She grew up with the gang her whole life and knows little of the world outside of it. Still, she has a softer side to her, and longs for a stable and sweet life.
“After all of this…you could stay. Seriously, you have people who fucking love you.”
- (Shouting, angry, almost in tears, emotion rising) “You...pigs! We’ll burn your fucking banner!”

At just 14 years old, Orion is the leader of the American Natives Gang. He thinks of himself as a contemporary man, but very much appeals himself to the ideals of a traditional masculine figure (akin to a superhero or western film cowboy). He leads well, but struggles to keep his ego in check. He’s still just a kid, really.

Wealthy, expressive and entrenched in her own villainy, she is the one to pour her funds into this little gang. However, little by little, or perhaps not even with any subterfuge, she makes her own demands -- ones that satisfy all her desires. Little does she know about those who conspire to get rid of her

- “You’re forgetting one detail, you’re not /really/ the one in charge. You’re just a kid playing grownup..”

A mercenary from Ireland, he was around in the American Natives gang for a while, and driven solely by the prospect of money. Thus, he makes himself quite useful with the skills that the gang employs him for: his marksmanship, as well as his relaxed attitude in tense get-away situations.
(Solemnly) “I don’t really belong here…I don’t belong anywhere.” (Smiling, teasing) “I just go where the money goes.”
- (Contemplative, playful) “Well… we /are/ still kicking…you’re right. They’re idiots. Carpet bombing would’ve been much more effective.”
