"It At Night" is a tense short horror film about Jill, a young writer living alone in a remote cottage to get away from her manipulative and obsessive ex-boyfriend. Jill one night is unexpectedly confronted by a mysterious and intimidating presence. As strange knocks and eerie phone calls escalate, Jill struggles to make sense of the danger while trying to protect herself. Isolated and unable to rely on outside help, she must put on a brave face against the threat known only as “???". This short story explores suspense, isolation, and the terror of helplessness against a threat to powerful to beat.

The role requires a calm but detached 911 operative. Must sound professional, slightly distant, but still human. Looking for a tone of urgency and cold realism, a voice that helps convey authority, tension, and intimidation. One that makes the audience feel helpless alongside the protagonist.
