Project Overview
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Welcome to Infinite Isles, an upcoming semi-animated webseries centered around a high-stakes gameshow! We have already successfully cast the majority of our cast and are entering active production. We are now looking for talented individuals to fill our final lead, major, and essential lore-related roles, as well as a large variety of minor/background parts.
THE PLOT
A 33-year-old woman joins her best friend's gameshow over the course of the summer, where losing could mean losing everything she holds dear. She must learn to navigate complex team relationships, high-stakes rounds, all the while maintaining her sanity as the people around her descend into madness.
PRODUCTION DETAILS
Project Type: Webseries - Animatic format
Payment: Unpaid
Status: Active production (Majority of the cast is already locked in.)
Expectations: Access to a decent microphone (preferably, no phone mics), clear audio free of background noise, and a Discord account for cast communication.
Generally, please refrain from auditioning if uncomfortable portraying a queer (LGTBQIA+) character.

Role: Lead
Age/Gender: Male, 17 years old. From the Bronx.
Personality: Impulsive, defensive, and deeply exhausted. He has been long-term homeless and out of school for majority of his life due to a severely abusive upbringing and balances three retail jobs all across NYC outside of the show just to survive. Because of this, he has built a hardened, cynical exterior. He can be deeply apathetic, reactive, and sharp with others - especially in his intense, tightly bound relationship with his boyfriend, Elias - but he is fundamentally a kid who has been exploited by the system and doesn't actually want to be a bad person.
Vocal Style: Gritty, tired. Standard American Accent - New York edge. Raspy, lower voice.
Queer, dating a man. Please refrain from auditioning if uncomfortable.

Around here, it’s hurt or be hurt, so stop asking your dumbass questions and just do the fuckin’ task." (Fast-talking, aggressive.)
"Aw, look at you, cryin’ because you got a little dirt on your oh so pristine reputation. Must be nice, Eli. Must be real nice havin’ a safety net to fall back on while the rest of us are drowning. You wouldn't last a single night outside your little bubble." (Low, bitter, and mocking. He sounds disgusted, and is intentionally trying to ruin Elias’ confidence.)
"You wanna go? Right here, right now? C'mon, make a scene! Hit me! I dare you! You've been glarin' at me all day, so why don't you put your hands up and do somethin' about it instead of cryin' to the cameras?!" (Volatile and mocking. Trying to rile the other up.)

Role: Major Character
Age/Gender: Female, 33 years old. Egyptian presentation (Arabic lines possible).
Personality: Independent, powerful, and brilliantly greedy. Dahlia is entirely obsessed with expensive and materialistic items, fame, and high status, and she is easily outraged if her possessions are threatened. She has a theatrical and highly dramatic way of speaking. She tries to pretend she isn't just after the prize money, but she is a terrible liar. Her brain moves a million miles an hour, making her unpredictable but fierce in high-stakes situations.
Vocal Style: High energy, incredibly expressive, and fast-paced.
Voice Claim: Jewelle Blackman (specifically her performance in Hadestown’s "When the Chips are Down") mixed with Heather Chandler from Heathers: the Musical (for that sharp, biting queen-bee attitude). Her voice easily flips from sweet, gossipy cooing to high-pitched, screeching anger when things don't go her way.

"Ooh, is that genuine gold trim on the penalty box? You know, if I get eliminated, I wonder if the security guards would notice if I just... unscrewed a piece of the architecture? "A physical challenge?! In the mud?! Absolutely not. My boots cost more than your entire life savings, darling. I am not ruining them for a piece of plastic merchandise!" Outrage, turning her nose up dramatically.)
"Wait, what do you mean my credit card was declined?! I am quite a main contestant on a prime-time broadcast! Call the Host right now, this is such a hate crime!"(Loud, hilarious panic, completely scandalized by a minor inconvenience).
Voice Actor
Looking for a wide variety of voices to play contestants who find themselves completely overwhelmed by the high-stakes gameshow environment. These roles range from quiet, loud, and strategic to hilariously anxious and wimpy underdogs. All vocal registers and backgrounds are welcome.
Characters Covered: Robin (wimpy, eliminated Ep 1), Lilith (shaky voice, easily startled), Silver (reserved, aloof), Clementine (dreamy, spaced-out).
Vocal Style: Can range from quiet, hesitant, and soft-spoken to high-pitched, shaky panic.

"Are you kidding me? Another elimination round? I haven't slept in two days– oh, great! And my podium's malfunctioning, too. Just pull the damn lever and get it over with." (Defeated, tired.)

Characters Covered: Camilla (valley girl), Kam & Poppy (hyper, bubbly), Noah (invasive, loud), Finn & Liam (overly competitive, commanding), Melody (hot-headed).
Description: Expressive, high-energy actors to play the intense competitors driving the drama on the island. This pool covers everything from loud, chaotic instigators to ruthless, commanding strategists.
Vocal Style: Energetic, loud, commanding, or highly exaggerated. Fast-talking styles are a huge plus.
Direction for All Lines: High energy, intense, and over-the-top. These characters treat every round like a warzone.

Description: Character actors to fill out the world of the show. These are the people (and machines) running the behind-the-scenes mechanics of the show or enforcing the Hosts' twisted rules.
Vocal Style: Can range from cold, monotone, and robotic to professional, gruff, or exhausted New York accents.
Direction for All Lines: Deadpan, professional, or utterly exhausted by the chaotic contestants.

Age/Gender: Female, 17 years old. English accent.
Personality: Hardworking, caring, but often absent and deeply pre-occupied with her own struggles. She appears strictly in Nol's flashbacks.
Vocal Style: Soft, gentle English accent. Voice Claim: Early LDShadowlady (specifically her softer, slightly shy, and cozy tone from when she first started her channel up to around 2017.) Sounds sweet, comforting, and a bit distant or distracted.

She is hooked up to hospital machines after the accident, scared, and fighting through shallow breaths while her family watches).

Age/Gender: Male, 17 years old. English accent.
Personality: Noble and sincere at his core, but deeply neglectful, careless, and highly reckless. His decision to drive drunk on a winter night (December 23, 2007) leads to the tragic accident that takes Rosaline's life, fracturing her family forever.
Vocal Style: Youthful English accent. He switches from a laid-back, careless tone to sudden, panicked terror.

Age/Gender: Male, 32 years old. Italian accent.
Personality: Sweet, intelligent, and fiercely loving, but highly dependent and incredibly overbearing. Married to Mary and father to Cassidy (both are contestants on the show). High "malewife" energy. He stays at home during the gameshow, frantically watching from afar, over-preparing for her return, and stressing out because he can't protect her.
Vocal Style: Smooth Italian accent. Warm, deeply affectionate, but with a high-stress codependency edge.

Age/Gender: Male, 34 to 60ish years old (depending on the flashback timeline).
Personality: A horrific, toxic father. He is cold, deeply manipulative, cruel, and spent his entire life abusing and controlling his son, Alex (The Host). He commands absolute obedience and shows hardly any remorse or love.
Vocal Style: Older, rough, raspy register. Gritty, cold, and intensely intimidating.

He is talking down to his - albeit younger - son like a toddler, intentionally acting superior and patronizing).
