Paid Roles For Independent Star Wars Film Casting

Project Overview

Hudoodat Vudoo Talent agency is conducting a casting call for an independent Star Wars canon story, (working title: Battle of Rocket City). This title is currently in voice dubbing development, and seeking three (3) professional or amateur Voice Actors for support roles in the film. 

You will be auditioning for a PAID role(s).  Each role has been provided a base monetary designation by Hudoodat Vudoo. Final compensation will be determined by the Production and Casting Director, and will be based partly on overall Voice Acting experience, including: convicting authenticity of character, and total screen time after post production. (other considerations may apply: union, non-union rates, etc.)

The final casting from each audition opportunity will be decided from among the top three auditions of the individual auditions listed. These will be chosen by Hudoodat Vudoo Talent Agency. The final three Voice Actors chosen will be notified via Private Message (PM) through their individual Casting Call Club profile contact information.

Only the most true to cannon or genuine impersonations will be considered on each of these audition opportunities. 

The final Voice Actor chosen for each individual role will then be provided with Casting director contact information. They will then work directly with the Casting director until all requirements are met.  Only the Casting director will provide the final recording delivery time line, delivery format required, and any additional work details, and all information regarding compensation. Compensation will be based on overall Voice Acting experience, including: convicting authenticity of character, and total screen time after post production.

Again Casting director contact info will only be sent by PM, and only after final selections have been made by Hudoodat Vudoo Talent Agency.  PM's will only be sent through individual Casting Call Club profile contact information. So, be sure your contact information is current.

Note: having experience with film dubbing (lip syncing to time codes on film) will be very beneficial when auditioning for the Pilot.

  • Our Audition Deadline Is Closing Soon-Females Encouraged

    As this has been our first casting call through CCC, we have been pleasantly surprised at the quality results of the Voice Actors who have taken the time to audition. As the the deadline to the projects casting is in it's final days, we appreciate all entries, including females who wish to audition. The stormtrooper role and the Alien Pilot Baroov-22 are both open to both male and female interpretations as well. Once the deadline closes, we will reach out to those chosen to move to the next level of selection by their CCC contact information. Each party chosen will be sent at least one (1) notification and have one (1) week to reply. Additional attempts will not likely be made thereafter. A Rebel Alien Pilot  style voice is currently being sought for a support role in an upcoming independent Star Wars film.

Baroov 22 is part of an alien race not previously encountered in any known Star Wars canon.  He is of medium height and stature. His voice is mid-range and contains a slight english accent. His facial features suggest a race which has possible desert or even potential aquatic dynamics, and therefore may influence his speech patterns. However, his speech patterns should remain understandable and clear, as he is a respected pilot in the rebel fleet, and is expected to provide vital information and dialogue.

    "It was a tie fighter from the imperial fleet, sent by Vader. He opened fire on my ship and we collided.... we were to return to my home planet to train a group of young Jedi."

    "R2D2 contains the blueprints we need, to activate our lightsaber.  With those plans, we might just have a chance."
