Project Overview
Synopsis:
In 1993 five teenagers went missing. And four bodies were found buried while one was found at the bottom of the sea.
Now, the year is 2023, Quinn was invited by his classmates for a camping trip in the woods. Not knowing he would make a shocking discovery of what had happened to the five teenagers as he stumbled upon the place where it all happened.
(Preferred age for auditions; 18 and 26)

Description: She was sheltered most of her life by her mother since she was little. Only allowed to leave the house for school and errands. Quiet, small, smart but not academically smart. She’s not really close to the others except for Reid, who has been her best friend since they were little. She was also in the photography with Reid and the editor of their school’s newspaper. Amaya was able to pinpoint the mystery behind their attacker.
Known as: The Final Girl, the last to be found.

“(Unsure) I’m nervous, but this is my first camping trip, so I guess I’m a little excited?”
“(Thinking) Why us? Specifically, why us? If the killer is after Katie, what part do we have in his plan?”
“(Monologue) I thought I was going to survive.. But it was easy to deceive someone when it comes to freedom. All it takes is changing the direction of the sign and brake failure.”

Description: He is actively social, and well known among the student body. He is part of the football team with Georgie. He’s also in the photography club with Amaya who is his best friend since little and a possible love interest. He is brave and has a heart of gold, and he’s willing to save everyone if it means not getting out alive.
Known as: The boy with the missing hand.

“(Reassuring) Hey, cheer up. This is your first camping trip, and everything will be fine. (Joking) If there’s a bear however, you’re going to be on your own.” Reid to Amaya.
“(Worried) If the attacker is really after us, then they must’ve had their eyes on us for a very long time. (Determined) We need to get out of here or else more of us will lose our heads.”
“(Shout/Demand) Get out! Come on! (sad/breathless from running) (He gave her a knowing sad smile) I’m sorry it ends this way. I need you to know that… I like you, Tripton. I have liked you for a very long time and I wish I had told you that before this shits started happening… See you on the other side, someday.”

Appearances: Tall, Thin, blonde hair and tanned skin with freckles, and blue eyes.
Description: She is stereotypically the popular girl, but nice. She’s a cheerleader and is dating the captain of the football team. At first, every one expects her to be the girl who would die first, but Katie is determined to keep herself and the others survive. (Think Nancy Wheeler from stranger things). She's also the mayor's daughter.
Known as: The target.

“(Happy) Yay! You’re finally out of the house and I am so excited for you to join us on this camping trip!” Katie to Amaya.
“(Frustrated )Georgie! Stop blaming others, okay? (Panic) Olive just got beheaded, her body is downstairs in the living room and whoever that killer is, is still out there!”
“(Determination/struggling against their captor) Go! Get out of here before it’s too late! I’ll hold him off. (Apologetic) It’s my fault we’re here in the first place anyway… ”

Description: Just like Katie, he is stereotypically popular and is the captain of the football team. He’s a jerk, and when he’s under pressure, he blames anyone who seems suspicious despite having small or any proof. He seems to target Amaya the most since he doesn’t know her well.
Known as: The golden boy on fire.

“(Frustrated) Shit, shit, shit! This van is a piece of junk!... What idiot put nails in the middle of the road, for fucking sake! The tires are inflated and there aren’t any spares!”
“(Anger) Relax? You want me to relax? Katie, my sister just got axed, and you expect me to not suspect anyone? I knew we shouldn’t have brought her along. There’s probably a reason why her crazy mom locked her up in that house, and Reid is obviously working with her because he’s smitten.”

Description: She is Georgie’s twin sister, who doesn’t care the slightest of what other people think. She only cares about her image, and would bring those below her lower. She didn't live long as she became the first victim of the attack.

Appearances: Dark hair and eyes, brown skin, tall and muscular build.
Description: Quinnton or Quinn is very much similar to Amaya. He’s quiet and barely spends his time outside until Steve ‘begs’ him to join them on a camping trip. Quinn is a very curious person which gives him some advantages when it comes to solving the mysteries behind the death of the five teenagers in 1993. Throughout the series, Quinn builds some sort of ‘connection’ between his companion, Helena, and a paranormal connection; Amaya Tripton, to help him uncover the truth.
Known as: The boy who talks to ghosts.

(Seriousness/anxious) I heard Lina say she saw four people standing at the edge of the woods and then disappeared out of nowhere. She claimed they were her daughter’s friends who died.” Quinn to Steve.
“(Worried/Frustrated) Helena! Where are you! Fuck! Helena, this isn’t funny. We shouldn’t be here! (Shocked) What the hell– Where were you? I thought something happened to you… Look, we should leave and find the others. The sun’s almost down and we need to get out when there’s still daylight.” Quinn to Helena
“(Sympathetic/Slightly surprised) Amaya is your daughter? I–I didn’t know that… (Comfort) I think she would be happy to see that you’re here… I think she would’ve said that she is in a good place now that there’s justice. She’ll be fine, mrs.Tripton. She loves you so much that she would give anything to be here, alive.”

Appearances: Light brown hair, fair skin, average height, green eyes.
Description: Helena’s character is parallel to Reid, in a sense that they are close with the main lead in their respective time period. She’s kind (hence why it was easy for anyone to be comfortable around her), yet brave, and very loyal which might cause some conflicts as the series progresses. Unlike the rest, Helena’s past was a mystery, which soon unfolds little by little as we reach the end.
Known as: The Mystery Puzzle.

“Boo! (Laughing) Did you see your face? God, I wish I had my phone with me right now, you should’ve seen your face! (Joking) Calm down, Quinn. I was upstairs looking for a map that can show us a way out of this place. Believe me, this place gives me the creeps.” Helena to Quinn.
“(Regret) You have to believe me, Quinn… I had to. I had no choice. They did this. To us! To me.. It was all the mayor’s fault. If he’d just tell the truth, NONE of this would’ve happened.”

Description: Steve’s character was the opposite of Georgie (1993). He has a heart of gold, brave and charming. He and Quinn have been friends since middle school, and he was a very sociable person. However, he and the others were separated from Quinn and Helena during the trip, so we won’t get to hear much of him as he might appear for a short amount of time.
Known as: The Friend.

“(Focusing on the road) And you guys believe her? Everyone knows that Lina was… (hesitating) crazy after her daughter went missing….(Fear) (Car brake failure) It’s the ghosts! They’re real! Shit, I’m so sorry, whoever you are!”
“(Relief)(Running) There you are! Fuck, what happened? Where’s Helena?... (disbelief) did she– did she do this?” Steve to Quinn

Appearances: Brown skin, dark hair (Imagine Reyna from the Heroes of Olympus because the character was inspired by her)
Description: She’s feisty, has a very sharp mind and is athletic. Reyna might be described as mean but she’s simply protective. Her relationship with Quinn was merely platonic but they’re not close to each other as he and Steve. However, she won’t hesitate to warn Quinn when she senses something about Helena. Her relationship with Helena, though, was a very questionable one, which some would mistake as jealousy. Just like Steve, she was separated from Quinn and Helena.
Known as: The smart one.

“(Judgey) I don’t know anything about Helena. She appeared out of nowhere, and all of a sudden she’s part of the friend group but there’s something off about her…I just can’t tell what it is.” Reyna to Quinn.
“(Panic) Steve! There’s no such thing as Ghosts!”
“(Confident) I knew Helena was up to something. It’s no coincidence that no one in town knows her or the fact that she always has something against the mayor’s family. Remember during the anniversary of the 93’ five missing teens? She was the only one who didn’t come when it was mandatory.”

Description: Another character that is parallel to Olive Rowel (1993) but nicer, and since the year is 2023, she’s addicted to her phone. She doesn’t talk a lot, but she’s rather observant. Her character barely appears in the series, however she does play a crucial part that connects to the clues surrounding the death of the five teenagers in 1993. Similar to Steve and Reyna, she was separated from Quinn and Helena.
Known as: The observer.

“(Realization) The pictures! The pictures I took – God! How can I be so stupid! Now that you mentioned it, Helena looks so similar to her, I thought I was going crazy.” Lou to everyone.
Lina Tripton, also known as Mrs.Tripton, is Amaya's mother. Her character will appear both in the 1993 and 2023 time period, which means when auditioning for this character, you must be able to sound young around 30 and older around 60.

“(worried) Now, watch out for bandits, or bears, or anything that screams danger, alright? This is your first trip and I don’t want to hear the neighbours telling me that something happened to my daughter, you got that? (Lovingly) I love you, sweetie.”
“(Teasing) See, Reid’s a nice gentleman, isn’t he? (yelling) You’ll take care of her, right Reid?”
“(Sad/relieved) Thank you… Quinton. Without you, my daughter and her friends may never rest in peace. They can sleep peacefully now..”
The Killer of 93 is a dangerous person yet deep within him, he's a broken man who've lost everything. In order to get justice, he seeks out to kidnap the mayor's daughter as a revenge, and bring all those who hurt him down with her.
When auditioning for this role, make sure you're able to sound around 29 and 60.
