I’m BFFs with a Treasure Hunter
Project Overview
An original anime inspired action comedy webcomic series where our lead character and her new BFF, an experienced treasure hunter, go on adventures across the world and meet new friends and rivals as they hunt for treasure!
Looking to pay 5 cents (USD) per word for VA's selected for these roles as this is an indie project that will require me to commission a lot of artwork. I plan to give the VA's full credit on whatever platforms this series is posted. An NDA will also be required to be completed prior to working on the actual lines.
Voice Actor
The main character of this series!
"Pink" is an energetic teenager that is excited to go on adventures while meeting new friends and having fun along the way!
The VA selected for her will need a lot of range as she is usually positive, upbeat, and full of energy, but she can also be somewhat whiney and bratty at times, or be angry or sad in certain circumstances.

(In a playful excited tone): "Hi! It's nice to meet you, my name's Pink! (giggles) Well okay that's not my real name, but it's the codename I'm using for this audition! You'll find out my real name soon enough, but first I'm going to need a voice!"
(In a whiny, bratty tone) "Ugh, this is taking forever! Why is it so difficult today to find the treasure?"
(In a sad concerned tone) "We need to help them, they look hurt."
Voice Actor
The male lead of this series! "Treasure Hunter" is an experienced treasure hunter a couple of years older than Pink. After a recent chance encounter Pink declared Treasure Hunter to be her BFF.
Treasure Hunter at times can be brash and overly confident, but he is also focused and serious, wanting to focus primarily on achieving the goal at hand.
Based on the personalty traits above, this character would need a voice that could come across as confident and arrogant, but also be very focused and serious. He would also need "gruffness" to his voice, similar to a character like Wolverine from the X-Men animated series.

(In an arrogant confident tone) "Piece of cake! This was nothing for the world's greatest treasure hunter."
(In a serious tone) "Watch out, there are bound to be traps nearby."
(in a angsty somber reflective tone) "We should've been more careful out there"
Voice Actor
For this character I’m looking for his voice to sound more like a mix of Al Swearengen from the HBO show Deadwood and Mr. Satan from Dragon Ball.
For the most part his tone and delivery of his lines will be closer to Al Swearengen, so not as much gruffness as Mr. Satan, but he will lean more into the Mr. Satan type voice during comedic moments such as when he is nervous (but again with the gruffness dialed down).

(In a demanding tone) “I want you two to go out there and find that treasure!”
(In a fury yelling) “Hurry up and hide the treasure before the Sheriff gets here!!!”
(In a nervous comedic tone) “H-hold on, I have no idea where the treasure is!”
