RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING
I will ONLY accept submissions done through Casting Call Club. Any other “auditions” (such as those sent via DMs) will be SKIPPED.
If you record more than one take for the lines, unless I SPECIFICALLY ask for one (such as when I need to hear a filter), your audition will be SKIPPED.
If you do not put your discord in the description, your audition will be SKIPPED.
If you use a voice filter without me SPECIFICALLY asking for one, your audition will be SKIPPED.
ADDITIONAL NOTES/RECOMMENDATIONS:

There is no need to slate/introduce yourself at the start of your audition. I know who you are and it only spends more time. It won't disqualify you by doing so but know that I'd rather you don't.
This dub is performed in the English language. If an accent isn't specified, you are safe to assume that the character defaults to a general North American accent.
Please try and trim down any gaps of silence in your audition to save time.
For the record, I do not care what microphone, software, interface, or other technology you use. If it sounds good, clean, professional, and aids your talent (the foundation of my decisions), then it works for me.

A quiet, curious bug who seeks to explore the fallen kingdom of Hallownest. Though he is polite, Quirrel does not shy away from combat when necessary, displaying a talent for combat that suggests there is more to him than meets the eye. His introspections and dreams provide narration for his mysterious pilgrimage.
I am looking for a medium to medium-high masculine voice that is unassuming, but not aloof. His curiosity and insight should almost bring a slight whimsy to his character. You may base your voice off the voice clips from Hollow Knight, though this is not a strict necessity.

[In thought over the wastes that precede Hallownest.] “Out here, only the simplest adapt, those that bear no burden of mind, only the drive for survival. Perhaps thought is our weakness?”
[Pleasantly addressing HORNET, while trying to appear harmless.] “Hello up there! I’m only an explorer, I assure you. Here merely to witness. This nail I carry only to protect my shell.”
[Several combat noises. An attack, parry, and getting hit in order.] “Hahp! Gah! Ughh!”
A bug of lesser mind, Boon speaks very simply, substituting growls for grammar. After being saved by Quirrel, they provide a moment’s food and shelter before sharing a part of the journey and parting ways.They are simple and straightforward, offering brief companionship on a lonely road.
I am looking for a medium-low to low masculine voice that struggles with speaking properly. He should be making great effort to speak that comes out in a growly tone that indicates a desire to connect, even if he cannot properly communicate.

[Surprised by QUIRREL’s assistance.] “You help… Boon?”
[Parting ways with QUIRREL.] “Safe you stay, mask.”
Hornet is the stalwart defender of Hallownest. Standing alone, she fiercely guards the kingdom from intruders who would dare desecrate it further. She is perceptive and quick to action, recognizing when to fight and when to allow passage for those who may yet find hope in the desolate tomb below.
I am looking for a medium-low to medium feminine voice that is assertive and noble. She maintains discipline in her self-imposed duty, while looking for bugs who could change Hallownest’s fate and deterring those who are not worthy. You may base your voice off the voice clips from Hollow Knight, though this is not a strict necessity.

[Dismissing QUIRREL and offering brief guidance.] “Something else calls you here, simple bug. Seek your wonders, but know you may find someone waiting.”
