Welcome! If you don't know what Hiveswap is, it's basically a game that takes place before the events of Homestuck (a super-long webcomic notorious for its 8000+ pages, but well-known for its really nice art and detailed storyline) about a girl who gets stranded on an alien planet after entering a strange portal in her attic.
Hiveswap Friendship Simulator is basically bonus content that What Pumpkin Games is making while we wait for Hiveswap: Act 2 to come out, so we don't get too bored. It's like a dating simulator, except instead of trying to get the characters to love you, you're just trying to become friends with them and learn more about them!
So far, only a few volumes of the Friendsim have been released. For fun, I'm going to make a fandub of the few volumes and routes we have at the moment! When more acts come out, I'll add the characters to the casting call and extend the deadline!
(DISCLAIMER: This is just something that I'll work on whenever I'm taking a break from my main project, Faux Danganronpa, so please bear with me that this isn't my main focus at the moment. I also do not own Hiveswap, that is by What Pumpkin Games.)

Tagora Gorjek (or Gor-Gor) is a teal-blooded troll with the Liga sign. He appears to charge you for everything he says to you, and tries to make himself appear cool around others.

Zebede Tongva is a gold-blooded troll with the Gempio sign. He is a very friendly troll that reminds the MSPAR of themself--eager to impress others in hopes of becoming their friend. Zebede is an aspiring beekeeper, so he lives out in the middle of nowhere, where the environment is better for the bees. However, this also means he doesn't have many friends since he lives so far away from everyone else. He's a big fan of Cirava and found out about you through them. He can also use psionics, but they're pretty limited unlike other goldbloods and it's difficult for him to use much at a time.
I personally imagine his voice to be in the medium-high voice range for males, but you may depict him however you like or can!

Boldir Lamati is an olive-blooded troll with the Lelo sign. She is a mysterious young troll who is also very sneaky, as she was able to slip you a note without even noticing and get around large crowds without drawing suspicion. She apparently carries several guns in her coat. She seems fascinated with the course of the future, lamenting about the paradox and fate with the player. Not much is known about her past, but in both her good end and main bad end she was poisoned, although the method of how is not said. In her bad end, she claims to be "not important", despite the MSPAR's objections. Boldir is just a very mysterious troll in general.
I personally imagine her to have a voice in the medium voice range for females, but you may depict her however you like or can! She's also known to whisper all of her words yet still have a voice that's loud enough to be heard from across the zen garden, so keep this in mind.
NOTE: I am considering voicing her myself, but if I find anyone who can pull off a better Boldir than myself then I will let them voice her!

Charun Krojib is an olive-blooded troll with the Leiborn sign. They're a "lost-and-found artist", meaning they go out and find whatever garbage they can find and use it to make art pieces. They have a strong belief that you can make art out of anything, even trash. They hoard all sorts of junk in their cave for this purpose. They're pretty laid back and when we first meet them we see that they're pretty tired after climbing up our tower. They take frequent pauses between sentences, which further demonstrates this.
Since they are nonbinary, I would imagine them to have an androgynous voice in the medium range, but you may depict them however you like or can!
NOTE: They're quite tired, so please make sure to convey that in your auditions!

Wanshi Adyata is a jade-blooded troll with the Virmino sign. Much like Amisia, Tirona, and Karako, she is younger than the other trolls (5.5 sweeps, which is approximately 11 human years). She has a love for reading, notably Soldier Purrbeasts, and is quite popular in the fanbase. She writes fanfiction and roleplays Soldier Purrbeasts and has thus gained a following. She seems to rarely get to do whatever she wants, as it turns out that she snuck away from the brooding caverns to try and go to Beastcon. However, she ended up getting lost and ended up at the bookhive instead. She seems quite curious about many things and is very excitable.

Fozzer Velyes is a rust-blooded troll with the Aro sign. He's generally cheerful and friendly, although he will be suspicious of people at first. Should one agree with his beliefs, he will declare them his friend immediately, but will turn his back to them once they break his trust. There are many references to communism in his character and route, as his dialogue revolves around comradeship and the working class overpowering the established power. At first, Fozzer is against the oppressive political system on Alternia; however, after a strange flash of light and sound similar to that of a record scratch, he is rewritten to favor the Empire despite the apparent oppression. He also apparently doesn't believe in ghosts or other supernatural entities.

Marvus Xoloto is a purple-blooded troll with an unknown sign. Like many other purplebloods, he is a rap artist and a celebrity among trolls, having many fans from all different blood castes (one of them being Zebruh). He's pretty chill for the most part, in contrast to his fans. He's also, as they say, incredibly "woke", and knows a lot about the significance of every timeline, doomed or not, canonical or not. Even when the player knows that the current timeline is fated to die due to a paradox, he tells them that every timeline has its significance to the Ultimate Reality. He's also aware of the extremely faulty caste system, and how purplebloods are technically way more powerful than violetbloods, but they don't openly express this due to fear of persecution. He cares quite a bit for his fellow clowns, and also feels sorry for you when he sees you hanging out with Zebruh.

Daraya Jonjet is a jade-blooded troll with the Virnius sign. She's rebellious to anyone of authority and acts apathetic and bored of everything around her, unless she deems them "cool" enough. She hates being stuck in the brooding caverns all day and frequently sneaks out to do her own thing. She's kind of nihilistic as well, frequently mentioning how nothing matters no matter what anyone does. This hopelessness can turn into rage however, as she will lash out at someone if they try to offer meaningless reassurance. She also seems to prefer being alone as well. She absolutely hates the system on Alternia, which results in her becoming good friends with Tyzias.
I personally imagine her to have a voice in the medium-low voice range for females, but you may depict her however you like or can! Try to convey that "rebel punk teenager" attitude.

Nihkee Moolah is an indigo-blooded troll with the Sagicorn sign. She is well-known for being undefeated in muscular theater; she is quite strong and enthusiastic about the sport. She treats muscular theater with deep respect and passion, becoming furious at anyone who dares to insult her work practice. Even when backstage, Nihkee remains in character, showing her dedication to the sport. However, when her rage and thirst for revenge has gone far enough, she will stop at nothing to carry it out. Even if she is hit by an oncoming train, she would give herself cybernetic advancements to continue on. Her determination knows no limits.

Nufren is a tealblood that appears in Lynera's route. She was a potential new friend for Lynera, but the former rudely dismisses her for trying to talk to the player and thus ruins that opportunity.

The MSPA Reader (MSPAR) is the protagonist of the Friendsim. They narrate in the second person and carry out the player's actions based on what they choose during branches in the game. Please be prepared to have the most lines to record, and make sure that you have a clear mic with as little background noise as possible!
I would prefer to have an androgynous voice, to convey that the MSPAR can be interpreted however the viewer wants, but I will accept masculine and feminine voices as well. Remember to convey emotion, too! You are a character in the game as well, remember that!

Ardata Carmia is a cerulean-blooded troll with an unknown sign. She's pretty active on social media and has quite the number of fans. She frequently does livestreams, and in said livestreams she tortures her captives and manipulates them with her psychic abilities to be slaves for her. However, this sinister personality of hers is later revealed to be a sort of mask, hiding the fact that she doesn't like the highblood pressure.
I personally imagine her to have a more mature, almost villain-like voice of a medium-low voice range for females, but you may depict her however you like or can!

Before meeting him, his hive got bombed by a recent drone patrol, killing his lusus and destroying his hive in the process. Now, he wanders around scavenging for food, preferably meat products. He acts cautious around other people, especially if they seem like they're after his oblong meat product, but once he trusts them he can be pretty friendly.

Cirava Hermod is a gold-blooded troll with the Gemrius sign. They are a popular Moisturewave music streamer and have a fondness for the neon aesthetic. Prior to when you meet them, they had gouged out one of their eyes to avoid being taken as a slave for the Empire, since they were originally a psiionic. They also like vaping.
I personally imagine them to have a chill, laid-back voice in the medium-low voice range, but you may depict them however you like or can!

She is somehow vegetarian. She's quite strong as well, as she's able to fend of a group of twelve bandits on her own, with only your help.

Bronya Ursama is a jade-blooded troll with the Virus sign. She is really caring for others and works in the brooding caverns, much like other jade-bloods. She appears to be accepting of the laws of Alternia, but in reality she cares too much for the wigglers to do that. She's very orderly and polite, as well, but she can get stern and even fierce whenever something bad happens to the Mother Grub or the wigglers.
I personally imagine her to have a motherly, kind voice in the medium-high voice range for females, but you may depict her however you like or can!

Vikare Ratite is a bronze-blooded troll with the Taurza sign. He claims to have a great interest in spaceflight, serving the empire as a future Alternian crusader, but in reality he only wishes to fly within the Alternian atmosphere.
The player describes him having a voice that "belongs in a newsreel about World War II", so maybe try for that impression. However, you may depict him however you like or can!

Polypa Goezee is an olive-blooded troll with the Leus sign. She is an assassin that specializes in taking out highbloods. When you first meet her, she appears to you as a mysterious gold blooded troll in a large hoodie. She seems to be quite work-focused and diligent, but in her free time she gives excellent relationship advice.

Zebruh Codakk is an indigo-blooded troll with the Sagimino sign. He is quite flirtatious and claims to be an upstander for lowblood rights, although this can be questionable upon seeing the condition of his servants. He refuses to become aquainted with other highbloods or those who do not accept his views.

However, she does lie to Bronya about not having her sweater, even though she has it in the back of her closet.

She is what on Alternia is called a "voidrot", meaning that unlike others, she can't retain enrergy on her own and constantly needs an energy source to keep herself alive, that being Kuprum. She always rides on Kuprum's backpack of sorts, and the two of them are apparently moirails despite their insults. She and Kuprum like to mess with highbloods, and they also frequently insult others. As a voidrot, she doesn't have eyes, and claims that having eyes is for normies.

His moirail Folykl rides on his backpack of sorts and drains some of his energy, as she is what on Alternia is called a "voidrot" and can't sustain energy on her own. He and Folykl like to mess with highbloods by hacking into their GPS, and they also frequently insult others. Kuprum is quite a powerful psionic, and despite their frequent insults towards each other, it appears that Kuprum cares a lot about Folykl.

She claims that she isn't plagiarizing and that the uncanny similarities between her work and others' is due to "fierce competition" and etc. Shee seems to be able to keep up a good act under tight situations and is a convincing liar.

Konyyl Okimaw is an olive-blooded troll with the Lepia sign. She has an aggressive personality and likes to resort to violence, although she can be really comforting whenever someone freaks out or panics. She usually works with her partner and matesprit, Azdaja, who is the brains (or on Alternia, the pan) to her brawn. She tends to act before she thinks, which can result in her accidentally saying some of her thoughts out loud.
I personally imagine her to have a gruff voice in the medium-low voice range for females (see Jasper from Steven Universe), but you may depict her however you like or can!

She looks extremely intimidating due to her size (and additional clown makeup), but she's actually quite nice as long as you don't mess with her. Apparently, she's terrifying even to seadwellers. She is good friends with Amisia and helps her make paint (aka chopping trolls' heads off). She is devoted to her religion and goes to clown church very often, and invites you to join her for her last attendance, as she'll be leaving to space in a couple perigrees (troll weeks).

Tegiri Kalbur is a teal-blooded troll with the Libittarius sign. He is the founder of the Eastern Alternian Fine Animated Arts Appreciation Society, aka his anime club. He carries around a katana with him and is very law-focused, vowing to kill anyone who commits illegal acts or is violating the law. However, there has been a couple exceptions, one of them being Polypa and the other being the shopkeeper of his favorite Eastern Alternian merch shop. He's quite dramatic and gives long spiels that seem to come from some anime he watches, but it appears that he's actually quite lonesome.

He's a hacker, which he finds problematic as only goldbloods are allowed to work with tech when they leave Alternia whereas ceruleans like him would be sent to become spies or soldiers. When he encounters you he says that he's been following you because he grew curious of how you managed to survive on Alternia so long, and assumes you are a robot. He can be impulsive, as he reflexively shoves you into the water when you accidentally drop it into said water. However, he's overall pretty chill and can be nice as long as you don't fuck everything up.

Lynera Skalbi is a jade-blooded troll with the Viriborn sign. Like all other jadebloods, she works in the brooding caverns tending to the mother grub and helping with troll reproduction. She's quite possessive and has a huge flushed crush on Bronya, being quite possessive of her as she gets angry and even wants to kill anybody who tries to steal her away. She's quite upset by the fact that she and Bronya are only best friends and nothing more, and refuses to go look for other friends as she believes that Bronya is her entire world. She's not only defensive to Bronya, though--it appears that she's like that towards any friends she makes, such as the player, as she rudely tells a tealblood off when she asks the player if she goes to the bookhive.

Tirona Kasund is a teal-blooded troll with the Liblo sign. Like all other tealbloods, she works with the law and is very determined to prove herself in said job. Since she's younger than the other teals who work there, she always get left in the dust, so she's trying to find any opportunity to prove herself, and dreams of being His Honorable Tyranny's personal assistant someday. She currently works as a propagandist, making meme accounts and using them to spread propaganda to support the Empire. In her route, she gets you out of jail and uses you to try and find any incriminating evidence that someone is a rebel sympathizer so that she can prove herself.
I personally imagine her to have a voice in the high voice range for females, but you may depict her however you like or can! She's younger than the others so try to portray that tone!

Galekh Xigisi is an indigo-blooded troll with the Sagicer sign. He is a knowledgeable troll who is quite wordy, and is never finished talking, apparently. He always cites his phrases, though, in a similar fashion to a Wikipedia article. Like most other highbloods, he's good-mannered until you disrespect his hospitality. In his route, he is interested in you (for a purely academic and friendly reason) and wants to know more about why so many people want to become your friend. It is also revealed that he and Tagora Gorjek are in a sort of pitch relationship, and that he is in fact the very troll that you scared off during Tagora's route by pretending you were a rainbow drinker. He seems to want people to take him seriously, as the highblood he is.

It is revealed that she's a fan of Remele Namaaq's webcomic, and is excited to meet her in person when you mention you're her friend. It is also revealed that she is actually Tyzias Entykk's matesprit, and she seems to disagree with Tyzias's plan of rebellion. The MSPAR helps her by saying that it's okay to be in a relationship and still have differing opinions on things. She tries to hide the fact that Tyzias is not loyal to the empire when the player notices the book lying on the vanity.

Marsti Houtek is a rust-blooded troll with the Arittarius sign. She's quite dedicated to her job as a janitor, even if she doesn't like it. She understands that it's what she's supposed to do, so she cleans things whenever she feels like it. Marsti is a bit blunt though, telling the MSPAR how she finds their questions quite invasive and thus making them help her with cleaning. She takes an interest in filth and filthy things, and is quite picky when deciding what to clean next. She is quite independent and doesn't like it when the MSPAR purposefully tries to be friendly with her. Even though she may be a rustblood, it would be wise to not mess with her.

He's quite small for a purpleblood, and it is revealed this is because he was probably one of the grubs that Bronya kept in her secret nurseries instead of letting them die off. He also speaks exclusively in honks, potentially because of this background. Karako can get frightened easily, but he can also get really angry if provoked, to a reckless degree. He becomes friends with the MSPAR quite easily, and is quick to come to your defense after you shield him from a nearby drone. He carries knives and fizzy drinks around in his arsenal, and uses them as weapons whenever he feels attacked.
I personally imagine him to have a slightly raspy voice in the high voice range for males, but you may depict him however you like or can!
