Why, hellooo! My name is Bryan, and I'm a Super Smash Bros. Machinimator.
For those of you that don't know me, I am the creator of the series, Roy's Our Boy! I'm proud to say that it has been one of the most successful machinima series to come out of Smash 4, earning me just under 7,000 subscribers alone and reaching thousands and thousands of views (here's a playlist containing every video of the series). I never expected to get as big as it did, as Smash Machinima is not as big as it was a decade ago with Brawl.
Now I hope to continue even just a little of that success into Smash Ultimate.
Hi, I'm Satan! is a bit similar to my other series, but with three main differences: this one has much shorter episodes, less of a continuous story and more episodic adventures, and the comedy contains some crudity.
The premise is as follows:
Upon dying, Princess Daisy is sent to Hell for her sins. There, she meets Satan, who's looking forward to torturing her for eternity. Not having any of it, Daisy straight up kills Satan. Unfortunately for her, that doesn't end her troubles. She's informed by God that someone needs to take Satan's spot as The Devil, or else people will never enter the afterlife. In order for Daisy to make up for her mistake, God appoints her to this role. What could possibly go wrong?

Please note that I take this project seriously. It's a pretty silly project, and if you join the team I hope you'll have as much fun with it as I do, but it's still something that is special to me. If you audition, I'm expecting that you will be fully on board with the project too. I'm very flexible when it comes to deadlines, I know more than anyone how life can have its twist and turns, but please only audition if you know you can be dedicated. I want everyone, not just the viewers, to have fun with this, but I still have reasonable expectations.
- The series will only feature three main characters. These characters will have an appearance in almost every episode. If you get cast in one of these roles, I hope you'll try your best to stick with the role for as long as the series lasts. No one knows what the future holds so I know that may not be possible, but at least give it your all while you are a member.
- Every other role has a smaller presence. There are very few reoccurring characters. Most will be one-and-done. If you get cast in one of these roles, I hope you'll be open to potentially reprising your role in a future episode if asked upon. Of course, it wouldn't be free, you would receive proper payment for every additional episode. That said, you're free to decline as well.

This is just the first casting, covering for episodes 1-3. I don't want to cast for far ahead in the series because it might be a bit of a wait until those characters will make their appearances, so if you don't get cast or there isn't any roles you're interested in, there will be more opportunities down the road to audition again.

The comedy contains some crudity. Nothing too explicit, and it won't be the main focus, but it'll have some strong language, mature themes, and potential religious controversy. Not all characters will be affected by this, but be prepared to swear and such if asked. If this is something that you are not comfortable with, I'm afraid this project is not for you.

As I said before, I am very lenient with deadlines, life comes at us fast sometimes, just please inform me of your situation so we can come to an understanding. Don't leave me in the dark. Failure to reply after several attempts to make contact will result in re-casting.

Main Character
Princess Daisy of Sarasaland.
After dying and being sent to Hell, she kills Satan and is appointed by God to take his place as The Devil.
Daisy is an energetic, spunky gal who lives by diving headfirst into everything. There's never a dull moment with her, for bettor or worse (usually the worse). She's carefree to a fault, hardly ever considering how her actions affect others. She isn't trying to be a bad person to be evil, but she's so unbelievably self-centered that she doesn't notice anything wrong with her actions. Still, despite all her wrongdoings, people can't help but be drawn to her charisma.
For her voice, I am not looking for a straight up impersonation of her current voice, rather, match her energy. Be cheerful, smug, feisty, and everything in-between. You never know what to expect from her!

Main Character
The God of all creation.
From the sacred realm of Heaven, she watches over the people of Earth and guides them to the afterlife. When Daisy kills Satan, God appoints her as the new Devil in order to restore balance between life and death.
God is a benevolent deity who takes on a laid-back approach to ruling. She prefers to let things play out themselves, always knowing things will work out in the end. Respectful, well spoken and open-minded, God treats everyone like a close friend despite her status. She is very intrigued by the mortals, and with Daisy around, her days are bound to be a whole lot more interesting.
For her voice, I'm looking for a similar tone to Palutena's voice. Always Elegant and friendly, even when the things she says aren't necessarily elegant and friendly.

Main Character
Daisy's trusty personal assistant.
Isabelle is a cute little doggy that's just excited to work. She has numerous years of experience as a secretary for her hometown's mayor, and so Daisy recruits her to be her personal assistant.
Isabelle can be innocent, naive and a bit clumsy, but she always tries her hardest on any task assigned to her with a smile. Usually calm and timid, but rumor has it that she has an aggressive side to her if you push her to her limits...
For her voice, I'm going for a higher pitched voice. Doesn't have be to really high, but something suited for a small, adorable creature. What I'm more interested in is line delivery than the pitch of your voice, so don't fret too much about that.

NOTE: Ren is a reoccurring character. As mentioned above, most characters outside of the main cast will be one-and-done, but not this role. Please only audition if you're okay with a role that will appear occasionally, i.e., not consistently but more than once.
The Trickster from Hell.
Many years ago, Ren died and was sent to Hell for his sins. However, with his cunning wit and skill, he managed to become the first and only person to single-handedly escape from Hell. Now, he roams around as a trickster, having the time of his life doing whatever suits his fancy.
Ren is a cheeky, unpredictable fellow. Everything he does, he does for fun. His favorite pastime in particular is messing with the people on Earth. He doesn't take anything seriously, and nothing can bring down his high spirits. After hearing that Daisy has taken the mantle of Satan, he's eager to make friends with such a wacky person as himself. What a match made in...Hell?
For his voice, Ren should sound like late teen/young adult. Overall, he's a charming and chill dude that sounds like he's enjoying himself. Don't overthink it, be like him and have fun.
Ooooh, I just thought of a great idea! But first, I'll need to acquire a llama and some duct tape.

Minor Role
The Devil.
Satan is a villainous monster. Not much is known about him, other than his desire to make people suffer. In certain cases, he even does the torturing himself. He ends up meeting his demise at the hands of Daisy, who refused to give into his threats.
For his voice, I'm more so looking for someone to match his personality, rather than a specific voice in mind.. He's a dark, evil being who's been doing this for a long time. In other words, he's confident and powerful. The pitch can be anywhere on the mid-low spectrum, as long as it matches the tone. I'll accept a growling monster voice too, but it's not required.
All shall kneel before me in due time.

Minor Role
There's not much to say about TJ . He's a good kid; Well-behaved and kind. His voice should reflect that of a 10-ish year old boy.
This role can also be done by a male or female, as long as it suits the voice.

Yousef...is kinda weird. He has no understanding of social skills, and he has some strange habits, Any interaction with him is bound to be awkward.
For his voice, I'm looking for a sketchy and blunt tone.

Minor Role
Miles was just an average dude, until one day, he was transformed into a plant by a random mysterious figure. Now he just wants to go back to a regular life, but no one can get over the fact that he's a plant and that ticks him off.
Out of all the voices in this casting call, I'm the most lenient with Miles. As mentioned above, he was a normal person before all of this. Calm and civil unless you touch upon his plant-ness, which gets him going.

Minor Role
Rosalina is the opposite of Daisy; un-energetic, pragmatic, and quiet. As such, the two can't stand each other at all.
I have no preference on her pitch, it can be high, low, or anything in between. What I am interested in is the right tone. It needs to be apathetic and slow. Think similar to Raven from Teen Titans, as an example.

Despite his appearance, Yoshi is an educated gentlemen. He's prime and proper, but doesn't take too kindly to being disrespected.
For his voice, I'm looking for a sophisticated tone, someone with higher class status. Accent is optional.
