Hades' Misguidance, Season 2 - Actors [2M/1F] , Writers & Editors

Project Overview

Hades' Misguidance is a ongoing video series on the Zelda Universe YouTube channel. (http://www.youtube.com/ZeldaUniverseTV) It is a parody, spin-off series much akin to Palutena's Guidance from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The series features the main cast of Kid Icarus: Uprising: Pit, Palutena, Viridi and stars Hades, the main antagonist of the game. Featured characters from Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem also make an appearance due to their inclusion to the Super Smash Bros. series.

The show is formatted to discuss and talk about the Super Smash Bros. fighters, with Hades either derailing the conversations or riffing on somebody. Each episode consists of a green room segment (before an episode starts) followed by 3 individual Smash Bros. fighters discussed among the cast, and concluding with an end card segment by Hades.

Starting in 2019, the series will be entering its second season, consisting of 10 additional episodes.

This casting call is to cast for a few characters as well as recruiting writers and video editors for the new season.

All roles are currently voluntary; audition for this project means that you understand that this is unpaid work. This however means you are considered ZU Staff with Zelda Universe, allowing for you to be eligibile to take part in ZU related events at conventions and attend said events with perks and free access. This is all to be discussed when working with the main creator behind the project, once you start working and maintaining a professional relationship.

  • Here's the cast!

    Thank you to all who auditioned for the upcoming season of Hades' Misguidance. It was a tough pick from the few roles we had open; please know that there will be more auditions to come from ZU this year. We'd love to hear from you again!! Congrats to the newest cast members! Philsterman 01 as Pit Allen the ultimate gamer as Dark Pit Natepeach as Amazon Pandora Writers are currently being recruited, as well as video editors. If we find that you are a fit for the project, we will (or have already) contact you for more information and possibly already recruited you to join the crew.     Thank you to everybody who auditioned for Season 2 of Hades' Misguidance. Later tonight I will be making the final casting decisions and those who were given a character role will be updated for that character in the casting call. So even if it says "cast to offsite actor", that is only so the auditions are closed. Stay tuned shortly for the cast reveal!

Pit is the protagonist of the Kid Icarus series. He is Palutena's most loyal servant, as well as the captain of her royal bodyguards.

Pit is peppy and chipper, yet fearless and heroic. He has no problem fighting against monsters many times his size and is always ready to help those who are in need. The angel has a notable humorous side and enjoys cracking jokes and bantering with Palutena. He is also very confident, which makes him bit of a show-off at times. He can, however, become a little reckless due to his gung-ho and naive personality, which causes him to get into trouble at times. Nonetheless, Pit is a good-hearted and friendly character. He is also shown to be moderately gullible at times, often believing Palutena's words to be true even when she is joking.

Voice range: High to Medium (young teen, boyish)

  • Who is this 'Icarus' character this game is named after? Can I meet him?

  •  I am Pit, servant of the goddess of light! And you. Are. History!

Dark Pit is a major character in Kid Icarus: Uprising, He is the flawed, incomplete clone of Pit created by the Mirror of Truth. He serves as a rival to Pit, clashing with him multiple times throughout the game.

As Dark Pit is the physical manifestation of Pit's dark side, Dark Pit is said to represent the repressed feelings that Pit keeps to himself. Dark Pit is significantly more serious than his jovial counterpart, often having a more dry sense of humor. He is also more arrogant and cocky, claiming to be the original Pit. Additionally, Dark Pit is more aggressive and pragmatic than Pit, often striking opponents when their guard is down. Dark Pit proves to be sharper than Pit, possessing more common sense.

He also gets annoyed very fast when others give him pet names such as "Pittoo".

Voice range: Medium to Low (young teen, boyish, with a lower pitch than Pit's)

[Intended to be double cast for Pit and Dark Pit]

  • Seriously, that is the last time I want to hear 'Pittoo'!

  • Palutena says jump, you jump. She says fight, you fight. It sounds like a very satisfying existence. For her, that is.

  • Not to hurt your feelings, but THIS Pit doesn't need your help to fly.

Amazon Pandora is the true, humanoid form of Pandora from Kid Icarus: Uprising. In this form, she's stylish and flirty, as well as egocentric. Despite her flashy appearance, she's still menacing and quite a powerful threat.

Voice wise, Amazon Pandora has a lower, slight raspy type of voice we are looking to cast; much akin to her original VA, Nika Futterman. This isn't a requirement, but a note to help give an idea on what we're looking for. All interpretations will be considered.

Voice range: Medium to Low (young adult female)

  • Ahhh... It's been so long since I've had a body! Eat your hearts out, ladies!

  • It's been a long time, Lord Hades. Don't tell me you've forgotten your old friend Pandora.

  • (Faking her death) You got me... Just kidding!
